Not true.  You continue to call people when you are advised that they cannot receive calls at thier jobs.  When you call my number, and i have told your representatives many times that i cannot receive collection calls at my job becuse my boss monitors my calls, you continue to call.  I have given alternate call numbers and times but no one calls me at those times.  Also,all my bills are up to date, why would you call unless i am not meeting my obligation to the hospital?  if i have an agreement in place with the hospital and i am faithfully paying my bills, your company should not be calling.  I suggest you verify with the hospital to make sure they are posting the payments correctly.

No i dont collect debts or anything .. and i am very nice ... the rumor or "take me off your list" or "do  not call me again" just makes them call you more .. there is no rule we have to take someone off the list .. again im not sure if thats true with debt collectors! i get them all the time and have been threatened with jail time, lean on my taxes, even comeing to my house! Got a call from  this number today at 815 with no message. This after the "Vicki Long" crap started yesterday.Where do these people come from and my main concern is preventing the calls from coming to work. I work FOR a temp agency but yesterday Vicki Long called the actual business Im temping at which they wont like.I cannot lose my job because of these people

This number just called me saying that I owe a hospital bill from 2010, that was taken care of in 2010?  They lied and said they had been sending me bills for this. They have never sent me a bill for this, because it doesn't exist.  I called the hospital and they said that I have no balance owed, or any collections with them.

I had received a message on my cell phone about a debt collector so I called right away. It's unfortunate that everyone else had such a negative experience. When I called a young woman answered and was very polite to me. She asked me to verify my phone number then told me who she was trying to reach. I let her know I wasn't the person in question and had no idea who he was. She was nice, thanked me and that was that. Maybe things have gotten better for the company over the years and they have better employees.

your first lie is these hospitals need money to operate, the biggest hospital system around the Charlotte area makes so much profit, they don't know how to spend it. A friend does construction for that very company, they have the finest furniture, chairs for lumbar efficiency. Can't decide where to place the utmost of computers, change paint colors upholstery, remove carpet after already installed, because it doesn't go with the attire of the rest of the interior design, trashed!!!!!MONEY TO BURN! The local news reports on just how must their quarterly profits are up?????You think we don't know how much money the Administrators get just as bonuses??? I agree everybody that is able should attempt to work at a situation to pay their debts, but don't give us some BS comment of how bad they have it, because YOU know and I know that is a bold face LIE! So you might want to reword your sympathy post for hospitals. You have struck the wrong nerve here.
Collections is a low life job. That's right that's what I said. Your rude break laws for those who don't know better than to listen. You hire at minimum wage off the street to make you dirty little calls.Then they talk down to people like their trash under their feet. Karma will get you all.

This 800 number has called me twice in one week and has insisted that I called them back. Both calls were from a rude lady who has failed to introduce herself or the company she works for. I have no idea who this company is. Based on the other posts I have read it is a debt collector, but I know for a fact I have NO outstanding bills or debt to my name. I will not being answering and if they call once more I will be blocking the number

Keep a log of every telephone call and get the name of the people you speak too!  What you described in your post is HIGHLT ILLEGAL!

You need to contact your state attorney general and file charges with that agency along with the consumer agency.  This organization can be forced to pay you for each violation:

* Threats
* Contacting you outside of regular business hours in you time zone
* No identifying themselves
* Threats to contact boss or employment
* Contacting schools

Rack up the charges against them and get paid!  One woman here in my state of West Virginia has twice been successful and has been awarded over $10,000 for the exact same behavior you described.

Just do a search of "West Virginia Consumer Violations Collections Agency" and you can read the Associated Press Report along with the local newspaper accounts.

My father pays all my medical bills on time and they were extremely rude to me and would not tell me why they were calling me and I'm 20 years old I'm a young adult and if they call again demanding my personal info and keep harassing me I'm calling the police!!! I hope everyone on here gets them

I too received a call from this number.  Was paying on a medical bill every month and they wanted twice as much as I was paying.  Could barely pay what I was paying, but was making the effort and paying every month.  They turned me over to a collection agency as well.  Same hospital.

I recieved a call from this number on my cell.  If it is a debt collector, I know who is it because I was paying $100 a month on a $3600 hospital bill.  Got a letter from ARMC stating it was not enough.  I kept paying the $100 a month and they turned me over for collections.  My feeling is, I was doing my best.  I could not do any more and if they did not appreciate me trying to pay the $100 a month until I could pay more and they chose to turn me over to collections, I will not sacrifice to pay anything.

Your company is HORRRRID!!!!! If someone tells you they are not the person you are looking for, WHY do you insist on continuing to call? You MUST be provided a LOT of incorrect information if this many people hate you. CEASE AND DESIST IMMEDIATELY!!!

I've told them twice they have the wrong number and twice now I've been assured that my number has been removed from their database. But they called back the next day after supposedly removing it the first time, so we'll see if they call again after today. I expect they will.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone.  No message left.  Called the number back & an automated system picked up & said, "thank you for calling, all of our reps are busy assisting other customers".  I hung up.

Just got a call from them - didn't know it had to do with healthcare.  The call was for my daughter - the woman said that my daughter gave them my number.  I asked her if it was recently and she said why are you being rude.  I said are you a collection agency and she said yes.  I told her to not call my cell phone.  I'm sure my daughter gave "someone" at the hospital my number, which she does in case they can't get in touch with her.  It was nice of the hospital to give my number to a collection agency!!  All of my bills are paid including my doctor bills - it's one thing when collection agencies call my home number - I can let it go to message but when they call my cell then there will be a fight.  I do not give out my cell number to very many people - that's why I have a home phone.

I owed Gaston Memorial Hospital from 2008, have been getting calls for about a week now...no voicemails though. I called back today and was informed I owe $6000, from two separate bills. Refused to send out a Validation Letter, which is required by law. Spoke to a Super, who agreed to send out a letter, but not a "Validation Letter. The super also informed me that both accts have in fact already hit my credit on February 7, 2012. I actually spoke to another Collection Agency about these accts on my credit back in March, who stated, "We will remove the items because they have been sent back to the Original Creditor, Gaston Memorial". Plan A is to contact Gaston Memorial and verify I owe this amount and to whom. Plan B is to verify this Collection Agency is licensed in the state of NC to collect debt. My summary: Medical Debt CAN, WILL, AND DOES AFFECT YOUR CREDIT!

Well tell your people to behave in a professional manner. I think the U.S. is under enough stress then to have someone be disrepectful, takling crazy on my phone and rude. Thats ok. I will fix the problem....I just dont answer numbers not listed in my cell phone. If it is important you will leave a professional message and if not then send a letter. Im sure if you have my number then you should have my address.

This company keeps distrubing my privacy with their phone calls. I do not owe them any money and I request that this company remove my number from their system, but if they donot, I will gadly turn this company over to the District Attorney's office, then I 'll take my money and sue them. Again remove my number from your acount.
