Just received a call from 801-000-0000 to my cell. I answered it, but no one answered and I hung up! Very weird

Both my husband & I  got two of these calls on our  2 different cell phones about an hour apart on Thursday night- -  calling # says "801"-no zeros, nothing but "801"- when my husband handed me the phone on the first call there was nobody there at all-  when  I called back no  answer- when they called my cell all I could get was a voice message saying something about "putting a block on CC?s-  and to press# 1- when I did that they asked for the last 4 digits of my SS #- and then nothing-no other  prompts- i put my SS in  because I was afraid that they had put some type of a  block on  one of my CC as my daughter uses my Amex card and she was in Mexico-sure she was using the card and was afraid they would block it and she wouldn't 't be able to use it-  I called Amex and they said they didn't call - they would  identify themselves and a real person would call if they thought  there was some type of fraud use- scared me- never called again- dont' know how to find out who this was-

I got three calls from this number today, did not answer any of them. Then, I got a text message that said, "I'll call you later." It was really odd.

Called 3 times today, no message.  Tried returning call -- it's invalid.

801-000-0000 Is not a school in Utah, no idea who it is or what they are playing at. I would not answer the phone!

A school? I do not even live in UTAH and my son is homeschooled, how ridiculous is this? Asked for someone named Oletta? Weird name, not me.

i dont know.. ive got two calls so far from them and the number is invalid when you try and call back.

Ah ha, they left a message.  It was the Sandy Police Department.  I left a message with them yesterday and they were calling back.

Called and I didn't answer.  Cool phone number though.

What is this company?

These calls seem like they're from schools. Didn't go to school for two days, on the second day I get a call from my dad because he somehow found out, and 2 minutes later a call from this 801 0000 number. I'm guessing that was my school. And that guy up there traced it back to a school so that's probably it.

i got 10 calls from this number i picked up twice and they hung up within 6 seconds when i called back it also said it was invalid

Just got a call from this number at 8:45pm. It actually only showed 801 as the phone #.

Who are they????
