Andrew, you are extremely unlikely to find a reputable lawyer this way.  In the first place, lawyers are licensed by each state and you didn't say which state you were in.  No lawyer is going to offer to represent you if he isn't licensed to do so in your state.

Secondly, there are laws in place (I believe in every state) that restrict lawyer communications with prospective clients known to be in need of legal services.  The purpose of these laws include preventing the potential client from being overwhelmed and unable to make proper decisions using reasoned judgment and appropriate self-interest.

There are legitimate legal referral services offered in many parts of the country that are run by state and local bar associations.  If you don't already know an attorney or don't want to rely on attorney advertisements or web sites to make a choice, these referral services may be a good place to start.

The American Bar Association Model Rule that covers the client contact mentioned here, and which has been adopted as law by the highest courts in many states, can be found here:

I am presently in a billing dispute with DirecTV. They sold me "bundled services." But, the Internet service never worked. I cancelled service in the 1st month, and they want to charge me about $400 for early cancellation. I believe this phone number is DirecTV's collection agency. DirecTV refused to go to arbitration with me. Are there any lawyers reading who are interested in filing a class action suit against DirecTV? They sell, but cannot deliver "bundled services." Then, they try to collect exorbident fees even if the other services don't work.

The frist time they called it was a girl asking for me saying i won 7000 then a man indain sounding man call asked for me and i sayes yes and then my grandma got ob the phone and told him how old i was and he sayes dont care i love her let me talk to her and she sayed no and then he sayed then ill just havr to come to your place. Ya got me scared:/

"Independent Survey Group" my foot. They say they're doing a political survey, and for completing it you get a "free" cruise (just pay misc fees and taxes...) AKA "Give us your credit card number so we can rip you off" They're getting around the DNC list using a survey ruse. Calls over and over and won't stop.

Robo caller. Number belongs to BrandRep. BrandRep is well known to be a SEO company that uses robo call telemarketing as a way to profit. They claim to be partnered with google. The robo call tells you to " press 1 to update your google listing" or "press 2 to opt out." Stay away from this scam, just ignore and report. The company will continue to call forever, the only way to get them to stop help create awareness of this company "brandrep" by including the name in your post.

wants to lower your intrest rate on cc states from bank of america wants all your info dob.. cc # ..last 4 digit ss# ..security question ..etc etc.. told them my cc is max out ... got a "oh ok bye" .. hung up on me .. sounds like a SCAM..or more like a SCUMBAG SCAM. 2/1/2013

Bruce calls us threatening and screaming Calls every year to give us a hard time. Possible child molester! We want nothing to do with this guy and his phone is blocked from calling us repeatedly over and over. If this person calls you for any reason call your local Sheriffs office or Police.
