I have had several calls from this number. I never answer calls from people or numbers I don?t recognize. Could be a Telephone number verification service.

1910 hrs  5-18-12    caller id:  jesse gerson  answered & got an automated campaign pitch for orrin hatch, again!!!  NOT A WAY TO WIN SUPPORT JACK***!!!

I got a call from this number. Didn't bother to answer it since I don't know who it is. We are also
on the do not call list, but it doesn't seem these telemarketers are getting the message. Wouldn't we all
like to call these people at dinner time, right after 8am in the morning through 9pm at night and
bug them like they bug us?

Caller ID says "Jesse Gerson" so I answer and it's an automated call selling home security systems.

They don't say anything when I answer, or leave a message when I don't. That can be explained though. I used to work for a telemarketer. They call it a "business service", but we all know what it is. Anyway, the phones are on an outbound dialer, and sometimes there is a delay on connection times, which could be wh they don't say anything. They probably don't hear you say hello. We were also told that if we reach an answering machine, just hang up, cuz we have a lot of calls to make and no time to wait for a machine. But in this case it is ridiculous the amount of time you wait while they are still on the line not hanging up. And then when I call back, it says "Hi, this is Kirk with the National Security Group, and I just wanted to verify that you are still interested in a home security system" or some crap, and that's it. Frankly, I am gonna have to go ahead and agree with 'Angie' on this one. National Security Group? More like National "Let's Waste Peoples' Time" Group.

I get these calls from (801)290-1042 Jesse Gerson.  There was an operator that asked if I was interested in a home security system.  Then called repeatedly.  Sorry, that I'm not interested in your home security system and I hope you realize that I have your phone number and full name so that if this is an attempt to break into our homes we will take full advantage of turning this into not only our local police but the F.B.I as well.  Sorry I couldn't let you screw me with your scam and have a great day.....Maybe find a new Hobbie............

Received a call from "GE Home Security System" on my cell phone.
Doesn't get much more aggrevating than this.
So much for that National Do Not Call registry.  Do they compensate for the cost?  Time?  
Do they fine these companies?

A call trying to sell security system

called in and female took me off of the list. Had to give her my phone number again which is a scary thing to do. She was nice and said she put me on the do not call list.

I hope this works, I was very patient and respectful.

I keep getting calls from 801.290.1042.

Trying to sell me a security system. I keep telling them no and to take me off their phone list.  They keep hanging up on me.

I think the legislature should make Telephone providers evaluate Telemarketers every month and if the Telemarketers violate or have complaints and the Providers continue to provide telephone services to the Telemarketers then the Telephone providers lose too, They have to pay a fine and then the whole telephone exchange ie. (801) 290 numbers for 3 three years after the fine is paid.  Oh the Telemarketers have to pay the fine if they don't then the Telephone provider has too.

This number called me in NH yesterday at 2:42EST no message left. They are located in Utah! Do not know they would be calling here or me.  I'm also on the Federal Do Not Call list.

Same here, I got the call checking the number first, but felt it may be a friend from that same area code, so I answered.  And nothing....Then I came into this web site to check out the number.  Sometimes I wonder if it is big brother checking to see if my location has been correctly reported or not. People who call or send flyers in the mail must know we do not want what they are soliciting. But as long as we have people running for a political office and using the same tactics we may never see and end to this kind junk. I have added my cell phone number to the national do not call at ( www.donotcall.gov  ) P.S. it takes 30 days to start working and is good for 5 years. Now when I get a call I save them in my directory as name "ZZ" ring silent. I have a few saved already. This is a FREE way I have found for you to empower yourself, so like me you may want to stop them before they find you, by adding them to your phone directory with a ring silent. I welcome any FREE ideas for blocking the junk calls.

Called but I didn't answer. They left a message, but I only  heard the last part so I did not find out who it was that called. After reading other comments here, I believe it's a security company.

GE home Sercuity system  called them back and told them to stop calling my house.If I wanted it I would call them...

this number called my landline phone twice this evening within the span of 45 mins. to an hour.  caller id said:  jesse gerson (whoever the HELL THAT is) and i did NOT answer, as i do NOT answer calls from people whom i do NOT know, regardless WHO they are.  as far as i'm concerned they can ALL go straight to HELL as i am SICK and TIRED of getting calls constantly from UNKNOWN CALLERS, UNKNOWN NAMES, OUT OF AREA, etc.  if they are bill collectors calling and do not IDENTIFY themselves, then i have absolutely NO reason in the world to talk to ANY of them, nor WILL i.  they can ALL stick that in their pipes and smoke it!!!

same thing goes for telemarketers, UNIDENTIFIED or NOT.

I have recently recorded and message on my voicemail that for some reason has made the telemarketers stop calling. if you go to the rejection hotline website and find the telemarketers nightmare one and record it on to your voicemail they will stop leaving messages and then stop calling. I have had it on my voice mail for about a month now and I used to recieve about 10 calls a day even though my # was registerd on the do not call list. now I have gotten down to only 1 or 2 calls a day. and everytime one calls me I report them and they usualy stop calling. This number called my WORK direct line.  I answered and no one was there, then the line disconnected.  Nice automated dialing system they have in place, huh?  I called back and apparently they call themselves "National Security System".  I asked to be removed from their call list.  Guy was pleasant enough, not like some of these people who are so rude or just hang up on you.  I haven't received an unwanted telemarketing call since March 11.  I started logging the calls and "opting out" of every single one of them, and then posting my complaints here.  Could be coincindence, but the calls...that previously were DAILY, have tapered off some!

I'm getting really tired of these people, ALL OF THEM" Even rhough I have an answering machine I just pick up and hang up. They hae to pay for it no matter how short the call. I wish these people would all just give it up and get the MESSAGE!
