The message doesn't repeat or give you time to grab a pen and paper... are you seriously supposed to remember all these numbers when something calls you unexpectedly?  When you call the number on the caller I.D. you only get a busy signal, so I have no idea what number to call or account number to use, they must not want to talk to me to bad!  Idiots!!!!

they have called repeatedly for days no id picked it up twice in annoyance in it just clicks a few times and hangs up.

This automated system is terrible.  Before I finally figured out who was calling, we were getting automated dialing that then failed to connect... REPEATEDLY.  Finally, I found out it was from a physician billing service, but missed the number.  Pressing 'star' to repeat discounts.  The real hell of this... we have insurance, were told three times the visit would be covered, and we even offered to pay up front.  Our insurance only applied a partial amount to deductible, we got a bill and exactly three days after the first bill arrived, the auto-dialing started.  We've paid the bill.  We want the calls to stop.  Their system is BROKEN.

Same as described by talkinturtles & candi. The 'canned message is indistinct and of such a short duration, that I only heard the ~ last four words.  Tried calling back, but you get the non-human 'enter the 4 digit number; of press the * key for the directory'  BUT the option to press a button to converse with a human, is not available. Also, before the 'directory' is announced, the phone connection is terminated. That is then followed by your local phone companies "If you'd like to make a call ~"   A very poor company practice, as they obviously have never listened to their own 'out-going  message'  Unfortunately, since this may be a legitimate service being conducted to perform follow-up emergency room patient billing; they more than likely position you as a 'non-responsive' debtor, and may therefore initiate legal action. Even though you can't reply, if their message is so poorly designed and presented. !!!

I got one just now, thanks for the info. I thought it was strange as well. I also had an emergency room visit last week.

i don't usually call back numbers i don't recognize, because they are usually sales calls, but they left a number to call back (801.208.5941) and gave me an account number.  once i saw these messages posted i got curious and called them back.  it is a physicians  billing and they were calling about a bill i owed for an emergency room visit i made.   so, it's not sales or spam.  it really is a valid number, just a little strange the way they left the message.
