Don't waste your time with these people. In 15 years of being interviewed by various recruiters, answering multiple job posts and dancing to their diging into my background, credit and personal information - I have never been placed upon a single job through them. But after going through the process a couple of years ago, someone began using my name and SSN to work for a company they do placements for. They, in my opinion, just use you I9 information for undocumented workers, who work for half what you can work for. Watch you information, only give it to an employer after getting a offer in writing, and do not allow them to make photocopies of your DL or SS cards; federal law does not require or allow them to have those copies.
When the crooks call you, best bet is to tell them to FO.

This is from a recruiter (technical) Robert Half Technologies. I have not had a very good experience working with these folks. They have a very high turnover rate for technical recruiters.
They ask you to come in and take a technical assessment. I don't mind this as I score in the 85% percentile of top Java developers.
The problem is they have never sent me on an interview and their contract agreements are the most restrictive in Utah.
I would suggest you work with another agency instead (SOS Technical or Consultnet)

I have had a similar experience - I will not do business with them. I also suggest going with someone different if you are looking for work (Consultnet, Smith Johnson Associates, or Aculis). There are many others...

You are only as strong as the talent pool you hire from. The problems that I have experienced with these guys, consultnet, and volt is that they fail on their communication skills. Either the job scope is poorly explained, or completely wrong, or the expectations from the client is not what is explained to you. Either way, you come out of it worse for the wear.
