scam call trying to get debit card numbers

got this call at 1:30 am est. Hung up since I don't have a key bank account. This call was on my cell phone but they called my home phone earlier in the day.

Got a call from 801-374-7444 at 2 AM today.    Scam!

Just received this number calling about a locked Key bank card. Really some people will try anything and I hope nobody falls for this scam. Just like every one above this is a scam.... Be fore warn folks

Same as the posters above "This is Key Bank, we regret to inform you that your debit master card has been locked. Push 1 to unlock it" I have no Key bank accounts. They've called two days in a row now with the same message. When returning the call they state their name and say they are closed; total scam.

JUST GOT A CALL AT 7:05 PM AND WAS WORRIED SO I TRIED TO CALL THE KEY BANK 24HR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY ARE CLOSED.. SO I LOOKED UP THIS NUMBER AND FOUND EVERYONE ELSE WITH THE SAME B.S

Received a call at 4AM from this number on my cell. Didn't answer since 1. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers, especially on my cell which no one should have except family and friends, 2. it was 4AM in the morning! No message was left but if it was from the same "KeyBank Fraud Dept" as others have said, I have no business whatsoever with that bank! Idiots!

Don't answer them. They will ask you to enter your debit card number and will attempt to steal your identity.

4 am phone call that my debit/credit Master Card was locked. Like many of you I don't have a card that fits that description. I hung up and registered a complaint online with www.donotcall.gov. I urge you to do the same thing. Unfortunately these scammers will probably be moved out by Monday morning.

I received a call from this number at 11:00 pm last night. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Then my husband received the same call at 4:04 am. Again, no message left. I looked up the number and it comes up with Strategic Insurance in Provo, UT..

Same thing that it said it was KeyBank Fraud Dept asking me to enter my number at 1:30AM - SCAM! The first time I looked up the number on the internet no company name came up, and people were reporting calls claiming to be the Utah Dept of Health wanting a very long detailed survey. Now, a half hour later I see so many people reporting the exact call claiming to be KeyBank Fraud Department.

Had a call from this number on my cell phone at 3:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning that woke me from a sound sleep.

A call at nearly 1 am, not only do they suck as phishers, but they're obviously rude to call so late. Remember the old days when scammers at least pretended to be nice? Today's scammers are just lazy and rude.

Got a call at 3:30am stating my key bank debit card has been locked. Funny thing is.... I have no account through key bank. Total scam!

Just got a call 2:55am saying debit card was locked. Lol!

I just got this call at 1:20 am EST   said my card was locked -- except I dont have a Key Bank account  LOL  nice try!!  :P

Called the number back, it rang to "strategic insurance" company in Utah.

The scam message mentioned a master card being cancelled, which I don't have. Then the call disconnected itself. Got it at 11:45pm EST.

These idiots need some real jobs... I never answered the call but received a 6 second voicemail of white noise. Glad I didn't answer ~ and never will. ((801) 374-7444 Provo, UT)

Probably a Nigerian or Russian scammer.

Same here, just a few minutes ago. My son does have an account with them and I'm on the account. Hung-up and decided to look into it. No problem on our accounts and then found this, that reaffirmed my suspicions that it was fake.

My wife got a call from this number today about 5 hours ago. She hung up half way through and decided to check up on it later. Glad I found these postings.

Same scam as the other poster.  "My Key Bank debit card is locked" and I need to unlock it.  I waited a few seconds to see if some slime would answer the phone.  The call was then shortly disconnected.  This is a REALLY lazy phisher!

Just got a call from this number.  Some kind of "your debit card has been locked" message, Key Bank I think it said which is a tremendous red flag as I have no accounts with Key Bank.  It then wanted me to enter my debit card number.  

Pretty obvious and poorly done phishing for debit card numbers.
