Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

I have received many, many calls from this number.  I was nice at first, but after about (I'm not even kidding) the tenth call, I got very rude with them. I asked them to block my number, I asked them to take my number off their list, but nothing seems to get them to stop.  They continue to hassle me, asking for Stephanie Banta, a person I have never heard of in my life.  I have even threatened to hire a lawyer if they don't stop calling me.  This is so stupid I don't even know where to begin.  I am frustrated and this company is on "my last frigging nerve!!!!"

Received a call from this number (no name) on my cell but no message left.  Will add it to my blocked number list.

Yeah, I got a call from them today, twice in fact.  They are indeed Debt Collectors.  The person who owned my cell # Before me has had a lot of debt because I used to get a lot of calls for her regarding debt.

I get a voice message from this number at least a couple times a week. The lady gives her name and then says that she is following up on our conversation we had about a month ago. I know for a fact that I have never had a conversation with this lady. I am sure it is a ploy to get a call back. Clever but not clever enough...

100 % scammers, just like the CIA and their facebook, etc, programs to profile and watch people for future Illuminati, Black Pope/Jesuit Roman Empire (via their Oprah/Obama/Putin/Rockefeller... satan-worshipping shills, and many other fools worldwide, etc.) new world order/chemtrail/HAARP and electronic mind control and poison... genocide (including what they did on 9/11... and just might do a whole lot worse at the next Olympic 2012 games, and afterwards when they slaughter billions in various nefarious ways worldwide (and blame us or others)...

Sue Thomas is Bonneville Collections - This is just one of the many numbers they call from.  I had a $1200 anesthesiologist bill from my c-section, I paid half of it!  I told them they were lucky to get that from an unemployed new mom with a baby in the NICU.  haha.  Then they wanted payments.... I said, "In Breast Milk?  That's all I have to offer right now"   They hung up.   Yes, I realize I owe people money, but being annoying will just make me send your call straight to voicemail and not answer you.  You are not the only medical collector calling this cancer stricken new mom!  dummies.  Call Obama, he will give you hope that you will get something  jk

I also have received several calls from this number.  The person who leaves messages is Sue Thomas.  I do not know who this is, or if this is from a company.  Unless she leaves a more detailed message I will not call the number back.

Received this call at 10AM.  This has happened twice.  My cell number is not known or listed.

Debt Collections.

Just got a phone call from BBC looking for some of my neighbors!  She gave the name of the person she was looking for as Jose sounded like Aramis.  I asked her who she was, she said Sue Thomas and I wanted to know the purpose of the call, she knew my last name, I told her you don't make such a phone call without raising some red flags...she hung up.
