Someone hacked my Facebook account, attempting to add this phone number to the verified phone numbers. Luckily, I caught it before any (known) harm was done, but this number is being used for nefarious purposes.

Received this call on my cell phone. Based on my research it is a telemarketer from Sandy, UT. They give me the option of being placed on the No Call list. I am already on it.

Same thing here.  No message.  When I tried to call back, said # is not in service....then how the heck can they call me?

These idiots keep calling here too. A few times a day. When they actually respond, they say that they are calling about a problem with my computer and need to speak with the owner. I usually say something like "You must think I'm really stupid, eh?" and they immediately hang up. But the calls don't stop. Now, if I answer they usually just hang up. I think they are trying to wait until someone stupid answers or something so they can carry out their scam. But everyone in this house knows better.
Once, I played along just to see what they wanted from me. He had me go into my computer's registry and was asking for information from a certain directory. He was like "now tell me what it says there?" and I was like "What is it supposed to say?" and he just kept telling me to tell him what it said. I know that if I gave him the info he was asking for, he would then be able to access my computer remotely.
What pisses me off the most is how these people are able to get away with this for so long. This has been going of for well over a year. I look up the number online and find hundreds of reports for the exact same number. So how does no one bust them? If the government is allowed to spy on everybody for the sake of justice and what-not, then how come they can't bust these obvious scammers? Worthless....

JERKS have called before and each time I told them we are on the DNC list and did not want their calls.
Caller I.D. says Utah.  They called again today and hung up on my business answering machine.

We had a lot of calls from this 801-410-7985 number.  I tried the company number mentioned above, (206) 462-5444, AND IT WORKED!   I talked to a nice gentleman, with an Indian accent, and I asked to have my number placed on the Do-Not-Call list.  He even told me the name of his company, "Get Easy Tech", and said they handle Microsoft Windows computers by providing service for them.  I told him we only have Apple computers.  He said okay, your number is on our Do-Not-Call list.

Funny story - Got a call from this number. A Indian guy starts talking and says he has been notified that I have a virus on my computer on my PC. I said wow, what can I do to fix it? He asked me to give him control of my computer so I said sure I will give you  control how do I do that? He then gives me instruction and one of the instuctions was hitting the control button. I said interesting I dont see a control button...he reassures me that I have one and tells me where to find it. I said I dont see a control button but I do see an command button..boy was he pissed LOL

Got numerous calls from 801-410-7985.  Tricky b*****ds, put in a disconnected number for their caller ID.
After looking here, I did find a number to this company.  It is for Seattle, but IDNK if this is their actual location:  206-462-5444.  That number does work, called and says in a brief East Asian English accent, "The person you are calling is not available, please leave a message.

This perso. Called me,after 9pm and than called a second time a little after,930pm i awneser with helo no voice slammed my phone down right away.

Also received a call from 1-801-410-7985 called ID shows only "UTAH". They did not leave a message and have been calling once a day.

Had a missed call on my cellphone from this number.

This number is a call center, but when you call it back...you are told the number is a non-working number.

I have gotten three calls so far from this number. It is like all your other postings. An Indian speakiing man tells me they are getting error messages reports from my computer. Indicates he is from Windows microsoft and wants me to turn on my computer, press the flag button and the letter "r". Then I am supposed to tell him the "warning message". When I asked what do I do after the warning message he said he needed to know what the message said. I told him I would not do it and he got very persistant that my computer would crash. When I said I would refer the problem to my IT Guy, he insisted I do it now. I HUNG UP.

I'm not sure who this is? but they call us repeatedly, and do not respond when we answer. This time my husband answered, they asked for Whiteman? my husband asked the caller who he or she was. He didn't get a responsed, the person immediately hung up.

I just got a call from this number .  She wanted ti fix my computer as she said is has several things wrong with it.  She said do you have a computer mam and I said no she stuttered a litlle bit and hung up. Damn why can't they leave us alone

Said he was from Microsoft technical support and my computer has a serious virus.  He walked me through a mess of steps that would fix the problem and then needed a credit card number.  I gave him a visa and he said they did not take visa.  That is when I felt something was not right.  He then asked me for a checking account number.  I told him that I was finished with him and his scam and shut my computer down and cancelled my credit card.  He called my home phone number three times after that .  I answered the first time and he wanted to know why I had not filled out the last form he had sent me.  The next two times I did not answer.  I learned a big lesson from this call.

Got the same call, kept them on the line for a good half hour. Finally the guy asked if I was joking with him I said yes.....i guess i was. He called an idiot and hung up.  Two more calls after that, but not as long.
I think it's fun to screw with people like that.

Received call, 9:40 PM, Thursday, August 9, 2012.  Same as above, "frantic" lady claiming my computer was infected with serious viruses, would wipe out my computer if I did not do as she said...Immediately turn on my computer, claimed she was from windows and this was very serious infection.  I hung up.

Guy called telling me that he was from "PC Pro Support" and that I was having error messages on my PC.  I told him that I didn't have a PC and he said "then you're a f---ing b*****d" and hung up.

Received call from this number doing a survey for election.  When I told him I wasn't interested in taking his survey he proceeded to tell me to kiss his you know what witch with a "B".  Really wish something could be done about stuff like this.  Tried to call it back but number wasn't in service.

Who calls to tell you your computer is running slow? How would they even know that? CREEPS, SCAMMERS, THIEVES. I put that number on my blocked list, which is growing every day it seems!! UGH!!

801 410-7985 on my caller ID. Left no message. When I dialed the number I got a recording saying the number is a disconnected or non-working #. Go figure!!!

you cant call telemarketers back often because they use "automatic dialers"..these are programs that run through hundreds of telephone numbers a minute until someone picks up the phone. when a real person answers, its routed to a phone being manned by some moron and he takes over teh call as if made himself.  the problem is the automatic dialer assigns a random number as the callback so when you dial it, it routes to a machine or simply never connects.

This number calls us several times a week.  How do we stop it?

Indian accent.  Claimed to be representative of Microsoft.  Said I had a virus.  Asked if I was at my computer.  Got huffy with me when I told him I was at work and couldn't talk and then couldn't provide him with a time when I'd be home.  When asked how he got my number, he told me it was something to do with my IP address.  Uhhhhh, no.
