Showed as "Public Interest". Wonder what kind of public interest this call is about. Not answering. I sure they get tired of calling and stop. No message is lif

I received about 30 of these phone calls in the past 3 weeks.. 801-433-0264 comes in as Public interest?? {WTF... really}.  If we cant stop phone scammers as a government, how are we supposed to implement Obama Care ..?  I let it go to voice mail, no message just hangs up (calles all times of the day and mostly at night 8,9,10pm)

I get one or two calls a day. I pay for FULL features w/AT&T, it occurs to me, so I need to go learn how to enable blocking for about 6 numbers that call chronically. Federal Do Not Call list is less than effective.

I just blocked this number on my iphone. Idiots.

This number just calls and hangs up. This number calls me almost everyday and is starting to piss me off.

Caller id showed 'Public Interest'  No message is ever left.

I have gotten daily and sometimes multiple unsolicited calls from this number.  I do not answer the telephone when I see "Public Interest" as the caller.   But, I am handicapped and when the telephone rings I must go to the telephone to see who is calling.  This is a major inconvenience and I consider it harassment.  What can I do to stop the calls?

Caller ID showed V906161930009179.  I had received a call earlier from this number (in May) that showed "Public Interest".  Did not answer this time around either.  Not sure what the string of numbers (caller ID) show other than the first digit is month followed by double digit for date.  After that?

The caller ID was V83008325400904  so I picked up and said nothing, to see what would happen.  There were a few clicks and then I said Hello, but there was no immediate human response to that,  so I hung up.

These people call constantly and hang up. I answered the other day and told them NEVER CALL HERE AGAIN. Take my name off your list.

I got two calls today. I don't support any organization that makes nuisance phone calls.

I received a call from this number just now. In my case they were calling on behalf of WETA, a local public radio and TV broadcaster.

I just called 801-433-0264 back. A recorded voice said to speak my number to be removed. We'll see...

Not the first time I've received a call from this number. The caller ID comes up as V7190729490081. Decided to press call on this and listen. Got a voicemail message for Public Interest Communications, calling "on behalf of an organization you support". I support a few organizations. Which one? They tell me that if I want to be removed from the call list I should enter my 10 digit phone number. Yeah, sure they'll remove my name. I didn't enter my phone number. I hung up.

call came in from "Public Interest" on my id...I was not home and I took off my voicemail because of so many scam calls.

They called at 6:43pm saying they were from AOPA, the aircraft owners and pilots organization.  They wanted me to update my membership by giving them my credit card details.  I told them no, that I could do it online. They said, OK and hung up.

This number belongs to a Hoyt Cousins Architectural Firm.  Put their number into google and it will come up with their website.  I just logged off of there letting anyone who wants information about this company that they harass and scam callers at any time of the day and night.  Hopefully the company will get the bigger picture and not call like this again.

I received three calls in three days from this number and there is never anyone on the line and no name shows up on my caller ID.  After reading your posts, I decided to call the number myself and see what/who is actually calling.  When I called, the phone rang many times and then a recorded message gives the option of opting out of future phone calls which I did.  According to the recorded message, it takes one business day for the opt out to take effect.  Will let you know if this continues.  I am on the do not call list and also plan to register my complaint with them.

Calls every single day!!! Says nothing. I call back and again nothing!

Hoyts cousins have been calling me daily starting 8 am and just got another one & its 8:20 pm on a Sunday!
This has been going on now for several weeks.  I have caller ID, so if the number is not recognized by me,
I do not pick up, but it is extremely ANNOYING!  I have an unlisted number which I never give out.  I always use my office number, the number that does not get picked up by voice mail. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr isn't there anything that can be done about this.  I have all my phone numbers on the do not call list, a lot of good that does.

Get a call from this so-called Hoyt Cousins daily.  I push talk and let it sit on the counter.  It disconnects within a minute or so.  Today, I called back and after several rings I get " you are receiving this call on behalf of an organization you support.  Leave your number to removed from the list."  We shall see.......

My husband firmly believes in asking  the scammers, "can you hold n a sec?" And then putting the phone down.   Time is money to them and they won't  waste their time calling back.

Hoyt Cousins calls multiple times a day.I am from Texas,do not know him,he is an architect from UTAH.Is he crazy,demented or a telephone terrorist.He is certainly annoying me,if that is his mission.Why call me?

Received multiple calls from this number identified as Hoyt Cousins, which is listed as an architectural planning firm in Utah.
Checked this here and other sites and decidied to answer next call to see who answered.
Surprise.. surprise....surprise...it was Defenders of Wildlife trying to get a commitment to their Guardians monthly donating program!

Keep receiving phone call from Hoyt Cousins at this number.  Occurs almost daily.  If I answer, phone hangs up.  Now I just let it ring.

I get the same name (Hoyt Cousins)  come up several times an then a hang up afterwards.  I live in the Kansas City, Missouri area.  I also have no idea why this name continues to come up and hang up afterwards. The number associated with name and is 801-433-0264.
