This email spammer with the phone number 801-461-5094 emails me 3 or 4 times a day. And the sender is listed as my email address. I would like these people brought to justice.

Sounds like your system admin needs to edit(or create) the spf record

I have been getting this for the last couple of days. Does anyone know how to stop it?

I have been receiving continous Spam email from this outfit. Isent all copies of received Spam to the FBI, spam@uce.gov and my state attorney general's office. In addition I have called this number and previous numbers used from this same outfit requesting removal from the Spam list. This outfit changes phone numbers a lot and has sent Spam frp SF, CA, LA, Beverely Hils, some place in the stte of Wshington, Edgewater Mayrland, Delaware and now from wherever this prestn number is located.
I do not need a cllege degress. I have five of them, two advanced degrees and three undergraduat degres. I have had past emplyment with my degrees , but presently I am unemplyed. There is an indivual with a similar name to my own who has been spoofing my reseume and acdemic crdentials all over the place. I do not know whether or not this particualr opeation is connected to the same acdemici identity theft and fraud ring which appers to be opeating locally in my state.

Learn to spell you uneducated moron. This can easily be fixed by your email server admin configuring the spf record and having the server check it before accepting email. Seriously, you let your frustration make you look helpless

Wow. Thanks, DB, for that insightful post. Except it's not, is it? It makes you come across as a gigantic douche. If that was your intention, congratulations! If not, you should seriously consider jumping off the top of a skyscraper.

They are not hacking your email accounts. Look closley at the IP address trail, they are "Spoofing" to make it look like it is coming from your account. Probably picked up your email addresses from unencrypted emails posted on websites etc.
Careful how your spam detection software works/acts, you could possibly block your own emails from @yourdomain.xxx - It seems Google has been able to properly filter these emails, and determine there spoofed/spammed.

If any of you are system admins, you should look into creating a spf record. It will fix your issues with spammers sending from your domain.

I sent a letter to the fraud division of the Attorney General for our state and suggest all of you file a similar complaint.
"801" appears to be a Utah exchange.
I too received a forwarded email (from my email address, to my email address).
We need legislation to stop this form of identity theft!

They're doing it with my email address too. How do these sleazeballs do this?
I hope the dirtbags are only sending emails to me when using my address!

They are sending me 3-4 emails a day. The sender address is my email address. These people need to be brought to justice. If you call the number you can only leave a message.

The owner of this phone number hacked into my website email account and has been using my email adress to spam the internet. If I find out who they are it's going to get ugly real fast.
| Zack 2011-05-10 14:03:33 Unknown |
I got the spam emails and they are now spoofing as STATE.GOV
Beware these kind of emails.

Its a degree mill. If you call and sign up, usually thousands of $$$$ to get your preferred degree. They move from state to state until they are caught. People have done this, and lost their jobs etc, the degrees, transscripts etc are bogus even though they are from actual universities. DO NOT RESPOND AND REPORT AS PHISHING SCAM TO YOUR EMAIL PROVIDER!
| Tom 2011-05-09 20:42:48 Unknown |
I have gotten four of them in the last 6 hoursw!
