I had the same thing just happen to me. I was charged $1.95 back in June and the new charges of $69.90 appears OCTOBER!!!! So just a heads up to everyone... if this company has ever charged your card: CANCELL THE CARD IMMEDIATELY SO YOU DONT HAVE FURTHER CHARGES!
Stephanie Butler 2011-06-06 20:58:54 Unknown
I have been ripped off for 79.90 I have reported them to the bbb and yes the attitude was terrible.
Thomas Cheaney 2011-06-06 20:58:54 Unknown
I have been ripped off for the last two months by these crooks. $59.90 each time on my visa debit...I will be going to my bank to see if i can be reimbursed. Fraudulent transactions on visa are supposed to be refunded and I guess I will have to cancel my card and get a new one.

This fraudulent company is tied with 800-497-4988. SCAM big time. contact Las Vegas and Utah District Attorney office. Contact your CC and stop the payment. change your crdit card number. FCC, FTC, and BBB are USELESS.

Same thing happened to me, a charge came through today to my bank of america debit card of $69.90 I have NEVER heard of this company, or dealt with them, how they got my number is beyond me. its a FRAUD/ SCAM!!! Cancel your cards Immediately if you get this charge and report them.
effgoogleatm 2011-06-06 20:58:54 Unknown
Same thing happened to me! 1.95 charged on my paycard one day and a few days later 69.90 gone..poof...keep in mind that i have a PAYCARD...which means all the money I work for goes on the card instead of my company printing me a check. I emailed Chase to inform this of the charges and they give me a number to call...the one that lead me here! I already filed a fraud report online and now have to call that number tomorrow to get my 70 bucks back. That number called me non stop...from 7am-12am! They never left a message and the majority of the times I did answer no one would say a F*n thing! I got an email from what I thought was a friend of mine referring me to googleatm.com so i checked it out and all that. then they take my friggin money and tell me i will get a packet in the mail with a kit. still havent gotten a packet but no one has called from that number since! This is bull crap and I hope the feds shut that place down soon...but if i were in UTAH its certainly nothing a few chains and cans of gas couldnt fix...although i would never do it....but im sure those idiots would set themselves on fire for 1.95...i know times are hard for everyone right now...but really? stealing from people who work just like you is wrong. ok..done preaching. just had to vent a bit...

k!! so I just called the number and got through to a guy named Mike, who had some f***ing attitude by the way!! So he told me that it was a FREE 7 DAY TRIAL that you sign up for and pay the 1.95 in shipping/handeling! and then they charge you for every month. I called and canceled, and he asked me for my phone number! i was like why do you need that!? i never used my phone number to sign up in the first place, i also said that I wanted a credit for the 69.90 but no dice. This is f***ing cracked, how can GOOGLE pull this f***ing s**t off?! I suggest call, and stay on hold as long as you can and cancel the f***ing thing!!

I just received a call from this number. They were calling me because I had answered an offer for a free Ipod Touch (youripodtouch4free.com). You must complete a certain number of offers in order to receive certain "free" prizes. One of the offers is for Amazingwebstores.com. It will charge a $2.95 handling charge for a 7 day trial. At the end of 7 days it will charge $59.90. Of course, it only tells you that in very small fine print at the bottom of the page. The moral of the story is becareful of "free" offers and answer those calls so you can prevent anymore charges from going through.

i had never recieved a call from this number. i dont know how exactly they got a hold of not mine but MY HUSBANDS account number. they took out 70.00 from his account. We had to go down to the bank and file a fraud form. The bank discontinued my husbands card. Keep a close eye on your account! We bank with a federal credit union. And they got the money some how!
Rich McFadden 2011-06-06 20:58:54 Unknown
They charged my bank account 69 bucks using my visa bank card. Will someone put these bastards in jail?
Marianne 2011-06-06 20:58:54 Unknown
I placed an order online for an information packet that was to cost 2.98. Within 10 minutes of doing some additional research I was alerted that it may be a fraud so I called the number and canceled the order. They gave me a cancellation number and everything but six days later my debit card had a withdraw for 69.90. My bank canceled the card immediately and now we're having to file a fraudulent charge. It's unreal the money these people are making. I double checked the fine print and there's no mention anywhere that your card will be charged a monthly fee. We're going to pursue this until every red cent is returned and hopefully some to compensate for inconvenience.

Yeah same thing just happend to me. I looked at my bank account today online and see they charged me $69.90. I have no clue who these people are and only saw there number on my online statement and tracked the number here on this site. This is dead wrong.
Garold 2011-06-06 20:58:54 Unknown

801-578-9020 got me too - and to rub salt into the wound they plaster their telephone number all over the claims they make to my credit card.. If people are being greedy it serves them right but most of the victims are like those who have already given their stories above... Me? I'm unemployed, have been for months and have only just signed on - I had tried to go self employed but due to a cheating ex who I was working with and the economic crisis my business failed.. I am desperate to keep the home over the head of myself and my elderly mother, whose meagre pension has been swallowed up my the mortgage.. I hope the lovely people at 801-578-9020 rot in Hell..
Change your credit card details - but explain to their fraud team first as the money can still get through... Oh yes and the 801-578-9020 telephone number?? Comes up as unobtainable.. GOOD LUCK all you lovely decent people, I hope that one day we can witness them get their come-uppance..
Serena 2011-06-06 20:58:54 Unknown
Same thing to me, $1.95 charge, then on my Paltinum Amex a week later. American express stated that some companies hire people all day to just run a dollar charge by trying different numbers, when one gets approved, they wait and charge more.
SG 2011-06-06 20:58:54 Unknown
Same thing just happened to me on a relatively new Visa check card. Pw/eAuction MN charged me $1.95 and the fraud dept. called me about it. They said that there was another $69.90 pending but I think I canceled the account in time. This company needs to be stopped. I would never enter my CC information on some half-assed form on the web so I'm really perplexed about how they obtained the #. The # had to be either stolen (people signing up for referral money???) or they are in cahoots somehow with Paypal.

These bastards keep calling repeatedly, but never leave a message. Just found out that my credit card was charged for something from an outfit associated by Google to this phone number in Salt Lake City, Utah, and my card was cancelled.
Steve 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown

robbie 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown

The outfit calling from this number is a scam company called Pacific Web Works out of Salt Lake. They said I ordered an ebay tool kit over the web which costs 59.90 monthly!! Needless to say I've taken them on. There is a web page called Ripoff Report and you can read all the BAD press about them. If this number pops up, you'd better check your credit cards etc!!!
annoyed in CA 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown
$1.95 charged to my VISA card; when I called, they said it was for re-charging my pre-paid phone card; that's nonsense - I recharge in $30.00 increments.
Ripped off 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown
Check your credit card statements carefully. These scumbags stole my credit card number and made a charge for 1.95. Then a few days later my credit card number was used to make hundreds of dollars in fraudulent purchases. Coincidence? I think not!
Jannis 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown
No call, just a charge of $1.95 to my debit card referencing TW/E auction and that phone number. Several other fraudulent transactions to my debit card that week, including from Consumer Depot and Overnight Genius.
bobcat 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown
I noticed a charge for 59.90 on my bank statement. When I called them they said I purchased an auction tool kit online. Now I have to file a police report before I can get my money back from the bank.

I work for Pacific WebWorks, Inc. and I can tell you that the calls are validation calls to make sure YOU (and them) are not a victim of fraud. They pay commissions out for every signup far in excess of the signup charge, so there is a huge motivation for fake signups using stolen credit card numbers. If you see this number on your caller id(and you did not order from them) it behoves you to call they number and stop further charges and stop the real fraudsters from getting paid commissions. I am saying this personally, without the consent of Pacific WebWorks, comments are my own responsibility. Thanks.
Really angry 2011-06-06 20:58:53 Unknown
They left a message that the "eBay auction tool kit" I had requested online would be shipped within 8-10 business days and that my credit card would be billed $4.95. I called the 800 number in the message and was told that the corporate office (no name mentioned!) was closed for the day.

Screw the class action suit. that is going to take years to settle and costs are always eaten up by the attorneys. They took me for a ride so I'm suing them - directly
I found a law firm that is doing my case for nothing up front and they are guaranteeing me that I won't have to put a penny out of pocket, win or lose, but when they win the case they will take their costs out of the settlement, and pay me what is owed plus punitive damages.
I am sure these attorneys would love to have a hundred more people like me, this has got to be an open and shut case. email me johncdova@gmail.com and you can get what is owed to you too.
