I got phone calls from this number everyday. It is really annoying.

Unsolicited call.  I didn't pick up but did dial the number to see who it was.  The number is not in service.  This is a recording.

I get this nymber on my cell about every 3 weeks and I am tired of it, I tried calling the number back but it's like I get disconnected - so frustrating and annoying!!

I just got one on my cell phone @ 1:08 PM. I tried to call back from public phone but a recording machine saying "this number not in service"

Sounds like a scam using an autodialer who spoofs caller id #'s.  there was a message left on my cell about bogus repair info.

When I said hello, the caller hung up.

Does the DMV sell lists of title transfers to auto warranty sales?

My problem started after a new Governor was elected in Maryland.  I have three cellular phones and one land line.  They call only on one cell phone number and the land line.  These two numbers are the only ones that I listed when I got an E-Z Pass transponder for the Bay Bridge.

Is there a coincidence?  My phone provider (Sprint) is not the culprit, since I have never had a bogus call on phones that are in my name but used by family members.

There is a firm that markets phone numbers of persons who are deemed to be 'easy marks' and the company is called InfoUsa.  Their CEO is one Vinod Gupta and he is very close to a certain former President and his party.

Another annoying incoming call where a response gets a 'not in service' automatic response.

The only question is what sort of a rip-off the telemarketing scum were pushing today.  Was it an overpriced and worthless 'car warranty' or some phishing scam to 'lower my interest rate' but really steal my identity.

I get several of these calls a week and when I am able to answer, I adopt an accent and play along with them, feigning interest in whatever they were pushing.  When I ask if I will get and answer if I call back on the number, they curse at me.  At least I am getting to them.

Same auto warranty about to expire message and I hang up.  I have never had a car warranty.  My cars are 30+ years old - I'd love a warranty!

same number, I never answer unknown numbers, but I assume it is the same "warranty" thing. I haven't owned a car for some time so I would imagine it's largely at random.

Sounded like a scam for selling auto insurance or an extended.  Started with "the vehicle you are driving..." then something about the warrenty expiring.  I hung up at that point.
