It was very hard to hear. They asked if I was Porchia. I said yes. My son was crying so I was unsure what they said but I believe it was thats all we need. I am unsure who this caller was but in todays world I found it quite scary.

Whoever it is they keep on calling me at least three times a day. It would start in the morning, but I didn't pick up. I finally picked up one time and it stayed silent on the other line & hung up by itself. I'm sick of these scammers, can't they get a real job and stop ruined and harassing good people if they have already done it. Is there a way we can do something about this, if so I am interested!

A guy with a thick Indian/middle eastern accent called (has been calling everyday, numerous times a day). I was in the middle or running errands and ,ironically, in line at the bank when he called. He explained that I had "won" a federal grant(which I would not have to pay back) and that he just needed to verify some information. I told him that I was not comfortable with this and he got irritated with me and said, "I already have all your information, I just need you to verify." Because I had just filled out my fafsa and started school recently, I fell for this BS.. He then proceeded to tell me the website, my username, password, and confirmation number.. It took me several attempts to understand what he was saying and each time he had to tell me again, he got increasingly angry with me, as he did when I was tryin to speak to the bank teller. I felt so uneasy about it even after I hung up with him and when I looked up the number and found out it was a scam, I was just sick! I've since cancelled my card and will be contacting my bank as soon as they open.. I should have went with my gut and now I feel so stupid but I know I'm not the only sucker who fell for this man's bs! I've also called the number back and left a message as they "are not available." These phone calls are not only harassing but completely fraudulent! I sincerely hope that my experience will help to prevent someone else from making the same mistake and hopefully, all the reports against these monsters will put a stop to their game! If you receive a call from this number or one that sounds similar to this, DO NOT FALL FOR IT!! I pray that something can/will be done to put these criminals away!!

Prank Call
This seemed like a scam..Heavy accented person detailing out a Govt Grant...for free....surprisingly had name and address details ....wanted Credit or gift card to charge some $4.70 and then the grant flows in. pointing to US Financial resources website.
Shunned him off...but the guy keeps calling back. Anyway to report the scam ??
When you try calling back to the number - It says your call did not go through....possibly a VoIP line.

This "Company" has called my phone everyday, several times per day.  I answered, and no one was on the other end.  Getting tired of them.  Nothing more irritating then someone calling me, and no knowing my name.

If you have been called and offered a grant that you did not apply for, please DO report it. You can do so by going to http://www.grants.gov/web/grants/support/general-support/grant-fraud.html and either calling the number or sending an email to the number and email address listed at the top of the page.

The very same thing just happened to me. They called today and informed me that I had a grant approved and that an account was being set up for me. The fee was $3 and the fee was set up to provide protection to my account and personal data. I dont remember filing a request for Government money nor a grant. I believe it is a scam and the people they are hiring to do it don;t even speak proper English. The background was so noisy and sound polluted. Don't send money to this company. This is the website that the person provided me with: wwwusfinancialgovernment.com

This Indian guy named Brian Warner keeps calling. Dude this guy is from India. Come on. A Brian Warner with a full on accent. Ya Right!

Any how I was very weary about the call so I asked for the site they were calling for they said US Financial Resources. I called the site and what they are is the fallowing:
They are a portal to grants sites and offerings. Problem is..., in order to get a grant people/companies go as far as to hire professional "Grant Writers."

Grant writing is not that easy. But, if you want to take your precious time trying to write a grant maybe this site if for you. I don't know I didn't go to the side to sign up:
http://www.usfinancialresources.com/

What ever you do, don't pay these knuckle head Indian guys from India $3 bucks to have the pleasure of them just signing you up. Go to the site and sign up your self and prevent these knuckle heads from writing you off and possible charging your card allot more then they should!

Kevin Parks was the name of the person who called me saying I was approved for a gov. grant and requested a one time registration fee of $3.87. Of course they needed my debit card number or credit card number to pay this fee.  If this was for real why can't they take the fee from the grant and give me the balance.  Is there something that can be done to stop this type of scam?
