My daughters cell phone recieved a call from this ## she didnt answer tthe call because she could not identify the # funny thing was the fact that we were allowed to call it back and hear a recording.. Because my daughters phone has been disconnected.. Or should I say without her prepaid minutes..yet she was able to recieve a call and CALL IT BACK??? But when she dialed my # same virgin moble recording

we are NOT covered by the federal DO NOT CALL law since this law is only for the TeleMarketing firms (those sales calls you usually get) and since WE at WesternWats are doing surveys and not making calls that asks money or donation... all your efforts of filing a complain would be worthless. So better take the surveys, and look at its bright side... You help companies make and do good products and services for you (demanding consumers) and even help the government figure out issues and create agenda to serve the nation well... YES!!! even the government pay us to call you!!!

They called every evening for about 4 days and I finally picked up and it was a lady who said she was calling on behalf of Kaiser Permanente and wanted to ask me a few questions regarding my recent medical plan with Kaiser. Then she just asked me two questions 1)are you currently enrolled in a deductible HMO plan with Kaiser 2)have you ever been enrolled in a deductible HMO plan with Kaiser... then she said thanks for your time, and hung up..

Number called, answered on 2nd ring, no one on the line. I researched the number online and it shows as a mobil phone number in Provo Utah, with service from Leap Wireless Int, DBA-Cricket Comm

Number called, answering machine picked up, no message.  With all the other comments, obviously a telemarketer or a research company.

I didnt answer, but called back. They are an independant survey company, they were calling to answer questions about my Kaiser Permante Health Plan

got a call and said they were from time warner(since i did have a service call) and wanted me to take a quick survey on the service. i started answering some of the question, but he kept going on and on.Finally I said ok enough questions,and hung up

These Western Wats people are relentless. I request them to put me on the their list to NOT call and take me of their do call list, but this seems to be too difficult for them.
They have several numbers they call from.
To anyone saying be nice because the callers are trying to earn money then perhaps your patience would run out if you are called several times a day, and late into the evening, from different Western Wats numbers.
It's a pity some techy person out there doesn't find the phone numbers of all the CEOs, managers, etc of their company and publish them. Then we can all call these people and see how they like it.

if you are registered on the donotcall.gov list...then please go back to that website and submit a complaint.  i also am getting calls from this #. i am on the do not call registry. they can be charged a hefty fine for violating that list. please notify them by issuing a complaint...it's very simple and quick to do.

keeps calling my cell number and will not stop it, no one is ever there just black air then a disconnect. I have to pay for these useless calls

They called me and said that they want to conduct a survey on behalf of SunTrust bank!!! they mention that they are from Western Watts. The lady who called said her name is "Tamele". I dont now how they got my phone number and how to stop them.

I had a missed call on my cell from this number. After reading some of your comments concerning telemarketing, I recall receiving a postcard recently advising me that I will be receiving a call from a survey firm concerning services I received recently (can't recall what services). My best guess is that it is the same telemarketing/survey company.

I reported these clowns to the state of Utah Attorney General's office.  Perhaps the rest of you should do th same.  Their email address is uag@utah.gov

got a call on sat sept 13 at 4:48, calling said  "you are gonna die at.....i couldnt make out the rest of what he said. he said something like the time or in 3 days....it scared me too death...his voice was very quite and creepy. i ended up calling the local police, they came out to my house and the officer googled the number 801-623-4627 and all these complaints againist this number came up....this is totally unacceptable and if i will press charges against this company if i have to...

I got a call on my cell phone from this number at 8:01 tonight.  When I answered there was nobody there.  I'm on the do not call list and have filed a complaint against them.

There was a message on my machine that said "Hello? Hello? in a very creepy childs voice.

called started on 10-01-2008 from unknown caller w @ 801-623-4627. told the man that i was not interested. and we were in the middle of supper and to take our @ off f their list.7:14pm
then 10=03-2008 at 6:45pm left message on machine lady was talking so fast we played it back 4x's and could understand the word confidentially.
10-02-2008 8:17pm man called and i asked him to speak up b/c i could not hear him. he hung up.
10-03-2008 9:17 pm young lady called and was also talking so fast i asked her to please slow down so that i could understand what she was saying.  she hung up.  i thought they were not to call after 9pm. we go to bed around 9pm and get up at 5 am in the morning.   i am on the dncr.  why can't these calls be stopped?

I live in Georgia, a long way from Utah.  Received a call tonight from 801-623-4627.  I screen my calls through my answering machine.  The guy on the phone said "I want to talk to D. L. P." (he actually said my whole name, including my middle initial).  Then nothing.  Just a long silence.  I don't know how they do it in Provo, Utah, but I've never had a telemarketer make such a blunt, disconcerting statement via my answering machine.  After a very long pause, he repeated my name "D. L. P.".  Then he paused and said "Hello - hello".  He paused again, and said "D. L. P.", this time saying my name slowly and enunciating very carefully.  Then, the line stayed open, and I heard people talking in the background.  He waited probably 10-15 seconds, then said "Hello? ... What?"  Another pause with noise in the background - then he hung up.  I got on my computer and googled the 801-623-4627 number.  Now I'm talking to you folks.  I'll take your word that was a research company/telemarketer, but it was the weirdest telemarketing call I've ever received.  Usually they hang up the minute they hear the answering machine.   Not this idiot.  I was in the Air Force for 30 years, own a gun so I can defend myself, and I'm not usually unnerved by much.  But until I read the comments from you all, I was having all kinds of strange thoughts about who the heck that call was from and what it was about.  To be honest, the guy sounded more like I'd imagine a serial killer would sound than a darn telemarketer.  Oh - and I'm also on the "Do Not Call" list.  I think I'll contact them.

801-623-4627 called me last night.  It's a telemarketing place called Western Watts.  Did any of you call that number back to find out?

They do surveys.  If you're scared- i would call the manager there and start bitching about it.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CALLING ME FROM #801-823-2031.  I WENT TO WEBSITE AND FOUND OUT THEY WERE WESTERN WATS.COM.  I CAN'T GET THEM TO STOP CALLING ME EITHER, I WISHED WE COULD BUST THESE PEOPLE I DON'T HAVE TIME AND I SEE OTHER PEOPLE DON'T EITHER EXCUSE ME IF I AM SPELLING WRONG I HAVE AN EYE PROBLEM, IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW WE CAN DO THIS CONTACT ME, IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

10:00pm EST just rec'd my 6th call from these guys in 2hrs.told them I have young kids and to put me on their DO NOT CALL LIST,the guy swore it would not happen again,I also told them I was reporting them to the BBB.hope this works!!!

I googled them, got their contact info off of their website.  A woman answered and i advised her she was calling my business line/cell and she asked for my number and said she will put it on their internal Do Not Call List.  Here is their contact info.

My husband received a call from 801 823 2023 It sounded like a recording to him but they said there was suspicious activity on our debit card. When I called this # back the recording said they were a survey company. Be aware!!!

omg seriously people its surveys it is not telemarketers they are not selling anything i took a survey and guess what they stopped calling.
