dude this sucks I keep getting their calls. Stop Calling

I successfully got a hold of the people from this number. They were calling on behalf of my bank (SunTrust...but maybe they serve other banks or businesses too) asking for feedback on my most recent visit. They called me numerous times late last year (after 1 in every 3 lobby visits) and I finally was able to ask them to stop calling me and they agreed to remove me from their list. No calls since then.

It's a Utah number, but the people calling are supposedly in Nebraska.

OK - here's what everyone should do - Obviously if you're paying for the call, then this is not the solution. On the other hand, if it's free for you, then answer the phone. Wait for them to ask you anything and respond by saying that you need to look for the person responsible/owner of this phone/etc.

Let them wait... a long time... as long as you can hold them on the line. Keep coming back to the phone and let them know you're still looking for the individual. Don't let up until a) You had enough of laughing or b) they hang up. I've held them on the line for more than 20 minutes.

Not only is this gratifying, but if they pay for the phone, they'd be wasting a lot of money and won't be able to call others in the mean time.

Same as the above comments- I get calls from this 801-623-4630 number & no-one says anything. I pushed mute this last time and a girl said hello when I unmuted the line she hung-up. They are obviously doing something to keep calling all of these different numbers.

I called back to see who it was.  It's a survey organization called Western Watts.

Just got a call.  No one there.  Hung up.  Glad to know I'm not the only one.

They have called more than once and I haven't picked up. I am on DNC lists. Caller ID shows 1-801-623-4630.

Yes they also called me......They are an information company calling on behalf of collection agencies...the reason they ask for the household income is to see what they can collect they pretend it is a survey for some other reason but it is actualy info gathering!

Got the call from the 4630 number, went to answering machine...no message.  Second time I answered and heard dead air on the line.  Finally heard a DTMF digit like someone hit something on the keypad.  

I would think if this many people have received calls and thought to look it up, there must be a huge number of people who are getting these calls and not reporting it.

What a ridiculous waste of people's time.

First I received calls from 801-623-4630, now the caller is pestering my mother in her assisted living quarters.  They told her that her health insurance is running out today, which worried her greatly.

I recieved a call from 801-623-4630 tonight after 9 PM. It makes me wonder what is up with this since there has been a large amount of people recieving calls from the same number. Since I know it is a scam, I have solution. I have a fax on the same line as my phone. I will let my fax pick-up. That should hurt someones ears.

we are NOT covered of the federal DO NOT CALL law since this law is only for the TeleMarketing firms (those sales calls you usually get) and since WE at WesternWats are doing surveys and not making calls that asks money or donation... all your efforts of filing a complain would be worthless. So better take the surveys, and look at its bright side... You help companies make and do good products and services for you (demanding consumers) and even help the government figure out issues and create agenda to serve the nation well... YES!!! even the government pay us to call you!!!

7/30/07 3:44 got a call from 801-623-4630 and someone was on the line but nobody would say anything, so I hung up.

they keep calling my cell

Called a few minutes ago, never left a message, but made enough noise to trip the message machine. Out of area, 801-623-4630. 6:46 PM.

Whoever this is calls me on a regular basis. Probably once a week or so. Have no idea who it is so I don't answer. They never leave a message. Bothers me greatly!

I too have received a few calls from this number.  Since I don't know anyone in Utah I didn't answer this.   I too am on the no-call list.

Woman said hello when answering machine picked up line, but failed to play message. So, I don't know who this is.

Received call.  No message was left.  Caller ID displayed "Western Watts".
