They call everyday about 7-8 p.m. and when I answer they quickly hang up on me. Yesterday I decided to call them back and see what their problem was but got what I think was a recorded voice saying "Hi this is Mike, How can I help you?", I then in return hung up, pointless to try and yell at a recording, lol!

I think I will just change my number because they aren't the only one who have been calling me for no apparent reason, as far as I know.

Write them "PLEASE DO NOT CALL (YOUR #) THANK YOU!"

These people make the reputation of your company look bad through association!  

I got called by this company (The Career Institute)many times before I finally put a stop to it.  They claimed I requested online info. which is completely ludicris, I've worked in the same professional career for years.  You can call it back and get an answer if you call during daytime hours (I got a response at 8:30AM CST.  You will be talking to a receptionist who will take your name and number but will show very little interest in your problem and your calls will continue.  The number for her supervisor (Mark) is 801-642-0246 but he never answered for me.

You can also e-mail the previous man's asst. tiffany@cilearning.com.  She will answer you quickly and I'm sure she is who stopped my calls.  THANK YOU TIFFANY!

TOTALLY ANOYING!!!  I HAVE to answer every call on my cell for biz reasons.  How do I get them to stop calling me.  last night I received 3 calls in a row from this #.  When I answered it, I received a call on call waiting and guess who it was?!  ARGGGH

gets calls to my cell every other day, most of the time disconnected before I answer, was able to pickup and spoke to some lady yesterday and told her to take my number off the list, got call and disconnected again just now.

I am the VP of Sales for One on One Marketing, and the calls that you are receiving are from our call floors.  The calls are actually coming from a sister company that we own, called The Career Institute.

First of all, let me apologize for any and all annoyances that are being caused by our call floors.

Second, let me explain why we are calling you.  We provide education leads for several of the top online universities in the country.  We are simply calling you to verify and confirm your interest in taking online college classes.

The only reason that we believe that you have an interest is because you responded to one of our offers that say,
"Earn your entire degree online!  Click 'yes' to speak with a counselor from one of the top online universities in the country.  By selecting 'yes' you will be contacted by a specialist from the Career Institute within the next 24 hours"

We give our "offer" to third-party vendors who try and drive traffic to the offer.  Almost always, these third-party vendors will offer a free incentive to people if they are willing to take a survey and look at a lot of different offers.  Our offer, about online education, would just be one of many different offers.

Like I stated above, before we actually submit your lead to a university, we call you first to verify and confirm your interest, as well as, make sure that you meet the universities' minimum requirements.

Now, we call all of our leads twice a day, up to 12 times.  The first 4 calls are coming from one of our call floor that is hand dialing the leads.  This floor lets each call ring 25 seconds before moving on.  The last 8 calls are made by our other call floor with an automated dialer that lets the phone ring 21 seconds.

If you are not interested and would like the calls to stop before the 12th attempt, then you can do one of the following:

1. Answer your phone and tell us that you are not interested.  
Our call floor reps do not even rebuttal.  We simply say, “Okay great, have a good day.”

2. Call us back and let us know that you are not interested.
My team that takes inbound calls will say, “I will take care of that, have a great day.”
Please note that our reps are trained to pick up and say, “This is _______, how can I help you?”

3. You can also contact my assistant.  Her name is Tiffany and her email is tiffany@cilearning.com.  Simply include your phone number in the body of the text with a subject line of “Please Do Not Call”.

The email for your "assistant" matt, does not work. Please post a working email or url if you really want to be helpful.

i have been receiving calls for six straight days.  when i do answer i tell them to remove my number from their list yet the calls continue.   the company associated with this is one on one career institute.  their phone number is 1.866.588.8189
call them during the day and tell them to remove your name

A call from 801-642-0237 has been showing up on my caller ID twice a day for the last three days. I haven't answered any of the calls and they do not leave a message.

If you would like to contact my assistant I will get you the information about the form that you filled out on the internet.  For example, I will be able to give you the time that the form was submitted, as well as the IP address of the computer that submitted the form.  Depending on which form was filled out, I may even be able to get you the URL of the form.  I hope this helps!

So far there have only been 3 people who have sent my assistant an email requesting to be removed from our calling list.  We have promptly stopped calling these 3 phone numbers.

This is, as you must know, complete hogwash. I have never responded to any such advertisement. I plan to file a complaint with the FTC.

Call and either hang up or ask for some name that isn't related to this number. Several repeats.

UGG!!  I am getting so frustrated.  I answer the call and they hang up, I call back it rings rings and rings then goes to a busy signal.  Has anyone tried to email the about assistant?

Constant calles from this number all day long.  No one is on the other end when I answer, nor does anyone ever leave a message.

Annoying calls all day long!! This is horrible, I had to save these numbers to my address book and group them as non ringers so that I am not constantly disturbed
