Called said her name was Diana Foster and the  same blah blah you or someone you know entered you and you won 2013 Ford explorer, we have been trying to contact you this is the last time and to call them.

Yep, same here. good old Mr. Russell trying to scam me too. Saying I won a 2013 Explorer or another very nice price. I hate people like that.

Received voice message same as  above:   so & so.., Mr. Russell's assistance, called to say that I had won either a 2013 Ford Explorer or one or two other valuable prizes.  I supposedly had entered this contest on-line or at a mall.   She had mailed me documents but had not received a reply, and that this call was my "final notice" to claim my prize.   Several Red flags,  we had not entered contest, we had not received mail, call came on a Sunday afternoon, caller never identified what organization they represented etc....      Glad I did not call back.     Appreciate the multiple posts already.

I got a call from Christina Lee saying she was Mr. Russels assistant, it went to answering Machine, I called the 80-657-5773 number they left on my answering machine and left my name and number, they told me I had won one of four prizes.
1.2014 Ford Explorer.
2.25,000 in cash.
3.a cruise ship vacation.
4.a giant flat screen TV.
a guy called back within 5 minutes and assured me I have definitely won one of these Items and they are sending me a packet with details. I then googled the phone number that brought me here.
I love Google, It sounded to good to be true, I will keep this forum posted on the package I receive.

They left message, same thing, have won an Explorer or something. Was vaguely excited until I thought about it and realized that I have not entered any drawings like that in years. As always if it sounds to good to be true it probably is.

Call identifying herself as Christina Lee  states your name and address and informs you that you have won a  $ 47,000 2013 Ford explorer. Claims you have entered a sweepstakes in a local shopping mall or online.  wants you to call the number: 1-866-288-2780. If you call this number back your call will be charged to a "900" number fee.  Also they will try to get you to send them a check for $3500 sales tax needed to be payed on the vehicle as the Illinois State Tax Commission must be paid before you can claim the prize.  They tell you to send them the check addressed to them and they will do the leg work getting your sales tax paid.
These criminals are trying to pray upon the elderly.

A man told me I had entered a contest to win a Ford Explorer and asked if I was familiar with that.  I said I was not.  He started to verify information with the name of my ex-husband who never lived at my current address.  This is a scam.  I never enter contests as I try to keep my information private.  I don't know where they are getting their information.

Same exact thing- knew my name and address (yeah-like that's hard) said I won an Explorer or one of two other prizes. I NEVER enter these things so I knew it was a scam. I feel sorry for older folks and such who might fall for this crap. I have heard that many of these route to the equivalent of 900 numbers when you call back and you get charges on your phone bill.

Same thing...entered drawing..wouldn't saw what we won but we would have to call Mr. Russell. No thanks.

Just received that same message from 'Mr. Russell's assistant', claiming I won a Ford Explorer. She's saying this as if I know who the hell Mr. Russell is, OR his assistant. You would have to be a complete tool to fall for something like this...

I let this call roll to voice mail.  They had the right name and tried to make it legitimate by using the address, but no message beyond that.  No callback number was left either, so they must be relying on caller ID for return calls.  Not going to waste my time based on the above responses.

Same exact thing!  A Diane Foster (also a Mr Russel assistant) called for my husband and left a message claiming that his entry from online or a local mall was selected to win a 2014 Ford Explorer or 1 of 2 "other" prizes. She new our home address. She also claimed that my husband has not responded to their mailing and needs to call back ASAP to 866-288-2780. She claimed that it was not a solicitation or sales call. I smell SCAM. So scary!

I just recieved a call from this number saying i had won a 2013 Ford Explorer or another prize. Also stated that they had sent me documents in the mail and if i did not respond ASAP i would lose the prize. Of coarse i had to Google the number. Thanks for the posts.

I got a call from a "Terri Scott" that she was Mr. Russell's assistant and she has been trying to reach my wife about a contest entered either online or at our local shopping mall.  I did call back because I wanted to hear the recording of the company.  I left a message for them to call me back cause I want to hear what they have to say.  I hope my calling them back doesn't end up charging my phone bill.  A little scared about that!!!  I knew this was a scam, but I want to get their information so I can help stop this garbage from continuing.  I will post again if I get more information.

Same BS ... Mr Russell's assistant ... entered contest at a mall ... blah blah blah BS.  Tempted to call the 801 number back claiming to be Mr Russell.  :)

I had a message saying my Mom had entered in a contest to win something, " Erika" went on to mention that this is not a scam and that my mom actually did win something. I called back the number given: 866-288-2780, a recording of "Erika's" voice greeted me saying that after leaving a message we would get a call back within 15 minutes. I left a brief message - I doubt I'll be getting a call back. I'm pretty sure it's a scam, I'm happy that my Mom didn't pick up the phone, who knows how that would have gone.

We also got a call from a woman with a texan accent explaining that we won a 2014 Ford Explorer entering a contest that we entered at a mall or online. Scam!! They told us to call back toll free ASAP at 1 866 288 2780, we googled the #first and its a total scam.

Didn't pick up the call, didn't recognize the number. The woman left a message saying she was Mr. Russell's assistant and that I had won a new Ford Explorer or 1 of 2 other prices because I had entered a contest online or at a mall; NO SUCH THING. I believe this is a scam. She left a 866 toll free number, no way I'm calling it back!

This is a scam! Picked up the line and a breathless woman droned on about how we had won a 2013 Ford Explorer because we had entered a contest at the mall or online. BOGUS!!!!! We NEVER enter such nionsense. A complete sham and scam! Number is blocked.
