They are now using the number 801-663-7469.  My real ? is. Is US Bank really that cheap> Seams that is the only account this a*** holes collect on.

I have been harassed by this company as well. They tell you they are calling from "stanley & associates - ATTORNEYS at law" I find this claim fabulous because you can call your local bar association and verify there are no attorneys associated with them licensed in your state & then turn them into the bar for practing law without a license. Trust me the bar won't find their claims they're "attorneys" to be funny & can have them brought up on charges by the local D.A.. Next time Stanley & Associates calls you, ask for their Bar # for your state & when they don't know it (this is what one of their flustered collectors told me) tell them you'll be turning them in for practing law without a license.

yes they call me at work even though I have told to stop - they say they will attach my house and be first lieu holder which is impossiable because the mortage always come first and my real attoney told that they can not call me at work and they can not attach house because debt is not assoicated with the house they will accept payments by money order or money gram they want credit over the phone no way they will access to any account of mine report to federal trade commsion

My mom keeps getting a phone call from this number and the person that they are asking for is my deceased father. They will not give her any more information on it and she has asked them to quit calling her and they refuse to.

My wife actually just received this call from that number. Funny thing is she owes 0 to US Bank according to her letter informing her her account has been closed and the balance is 0. First things first, when someone recieves a collections account they have 30 days to notify you in paper that they are going to attempt to collect on it. Also, I do not believe stanley and assoc. is licensed in Utah or with the FDCPA Which means it would be illegal for them to attempt to collect the debt. Dispute it, tell them to send you all documentation. then forward the info to Mark Shurtleff(Our state AG)'s office.

They called me claiming to be from stanley and assoc. I answered the number because it was local. I all ready gave them $400.00 he wanted to collect $350.00 more from a debt that I had from us bank. I told him that it wasn't my job to research and send him more money so he said that he was going to sue for the remaining balance. Has anyone else had a threatening call from this number!?
