This company, IMS, calls our business line 4-5 times every day and they never speak a word.  I hear what sounds like a call center in the background and then they hang up.  This is extremely annoying when you have busy phone lines like ours.  I have tried on numerous occasions to track down somebody in order to have our company numbers put on their "do not call list" but apparently this is a shady company because they show no interest in returning my calls or being professional.

Ask for owner - have something to deliver - wants address - has owner's name - if you ask too many questions they hang up.

second call from this number today.  very indistinct message on answering machine.  Caller ID said IMS.  WhitePages.com said call originated in Salt Lake City, UT area.

Thay keep calling at work and I usually do not work the front desk I always end up answering it!!! They said they want to stop by!!! I don't think so...

Got a call at work from this number & when I answered there was only breathing & then who ever it was hung up.

Got the exact same call again as I described above.  Caller asked for a manager.  I explained that our company is huge and has many different managers.  She asked for a sales manager about something being delivered.  Again, be more specific.  She gave me the name of  a sales rep and was, again, OK that he was not even remotely close to being a manager.  She asked if he was in.  I asked her what they were delivering to us. She said it was materials to be directed to a manager (nice and vague).  I told her the employee whose name she gave was NOT a manager and couldn't speak to her about items designated for a manager.  She was getting a little pissy with me and asked in a snotty tone, "Is "so and so in or not?"  I said, "Not for you and please put us on your do not call list."  I promptly hung up on her.

Got a call from a woman at this # and she asked to speak to the manager.  We are a large company with many different managers, depending on what you need (sales, service, accounting, etc.).  She then gave me the name of a guy who is a sales rep - def not a manager.  The caller was perfectly OK that he was not a manager so I put her on hold.  She hung up after a few moments.

Um, who exactly are they supposed to stop calling and what #?  Do you realize how silly your post/comment is?

they keep calling my cellphone and I am on the do not call list. can anyone make them stop?

I saved the number and gave it the name: junk. If they ever call back from this number, I will know that I do not want to answer when I see name on the caller id. Problem: if they are calling from lots of phone numbers - might take a long time before I have them all named & saved.

After three months, I'm getting calls again from this number with the caller ID showing IMS and the number. Someone has posted the info about entering the business in a sweepstakes to win a Ford Explorer or $2500 cash or a big screen tv or something else. That's the spiel I got from a woman with a heavy accent of some sort. I love to mess with these foreigners by telling them bluntly I can't understand them due to their accent and that they should learn to speak english correctly so real Americans can understand them.

And then I go on about how I wouldn't want the Ford Explorer because it's a piece of s**t.

Finally I tell them I'm just not interested and hang up.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL US AGAIN!

I finally decided to call this company back. IMS 801-676-7648. I got an answering machine with a guy that said to leave a message if you'd like a call back or to state your name and phone number to be placed on the do not call list. I CLEARLY left my info and told them to put me on the MASTER list. I also informed them that I was already registered with on the government do not call list and since this company has been calling me for over a year with no messages left, I want the calls to stop. We'll see what happens.

I have reported this # many times to the do not callr egistry but it does no good.  Today they asked to speak to myd eceased husband !!!  I see someone else says they might have a harrassment suit and I would like to join with them.  Enough is enough !!

I just purchased a Panasonic KX-TGA641 phone for my home and it allows you to add phone numbers that you want to block...it works great!  An no, I don't work for Panasonic.

IMS called AGAIN at 11:25 a.m. I've reported them to the DO NOT CALL site and I'm about to do it again. I answered this time and some guy who did not speak English wanted to speak to the owner. I told him that he needed to tell me what the nature of his business was to ensure it had something to do with our business. He was insistant that he speak to the boss. I told him that I AM THE BOSS. He hung up!

Called again today, twice. First time I just let it ring. After seven rings, the gave up. The second time I tried something different, can't imagine what they thought about this.

The phone sits next to a radio. When the phone rings, I just hit the speaker button and don't say anything. All they hear is whatever is on the radio at the time. In this case it was Sean Hannity going on about Nancy Pelosi. Don't know how long they listened to it before they hung up.

I did this with a different telemarketer from a different number (see 866-288-1590), and THEY got to listen to Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" on one of our classic rock stations. And it was turned up LOUD!! Don't know how long they stayed with it.....

Got a call from this number at my business. I didn't answer it. After 7 rings, they hung up. Of course, I come to this website regularly, so it's good to find out who/what they are.

I get calls from IMS EVERY DAY several times a day! As a business it's distracting especially when I'm expecting a call or I'm in the middle of a call and they call in over and over and over. When I do answer there is no one there and they never leave a message even though my message clearly states to leave one. After reading some posts above, I got a call from a different company Vitelity 208-561-0302 and the person forgot to hang up the phone. I could hear what sounded like a call center situation with many voices in the background. I heard one gal say she was with Federal Financial Group. They speed dial and while they are dialing your number they have the next number ready to go if you don't answer.

They asked for the mamager...I said that's me, what can I do for you?  This is ???? from Federal Financial Group, We are expanding our business into North Carolina and you number has been chosed to recieve a free Ford Explorer, so congradulations ma'am.
This is as far as I ever let the get...I said thank you for your call but we are not interested.  And hung up!

Have had many calls from this number. Each time it is someone that barely speaks English stating that they want to enter the business into a sweepstakes. Explained over and over to them that we are not interested and not to call again. The calls still continue to come in.

I get a call at work from this number 801-676-7648 EVERY DAY! It is so harrassing!!!!! Where or who do I need to call to report this? This can't go on! Every single day they call. I just pick up the phone and hang up quickly to get rid of the call.
