This f******ng number calls me every damn day. Never leaves a message, and a call back claims this number is not in service. Time to change the communications laws, and tell the FCC.

Have recieved several calls from this number. They ask for my husbands name and when he comes to the phone they hang up. We call the number back and it is not a woking number.

Calling # back it has message that they are American Veterans community program.

I found out who is operating this number (or at least what the answering machine was programmed for... sheesh, I'm getting so cynical). Anyway, I redialed and the answering machine said, "You have reached AmVet, the American Veteran's office" or something to that effect.
So, mystery solved. Maybe.

Answered after two rings. I said, "Hello?" This time someone FINALLY said something! They said, "Is (my wife's name) there?" I replied, "No, she's at a meeting at the church. Can I take a message, please?" Then there was silence on the other end but I could tell that the caller had not hung up yet. I said several times, "Hello?" with no answer and then I heard the phone hang up on the other end.
That's it. Thanks.
