called today..didn't leave message..not my area code..

this number has called off and on for months and months.  caller id says its  Cell Phone UT  801-699-1824.    they always hang up and calling back gets me a message saying its a non-working number.

When I try to block a number (305-908-3391 supposedly from Florida) my phone company tells me 'that number is not available with this service...'. I guess there are loopholes that unscrupulous telemarketers can access.

May all the mortgage shysters croak during this 'correction' of their underhanded business tactics.  RIP f***ers.

No one answers, calls daily

This place calls us 3-4 times a day AFTER we have asked MUTLIPLE times to be taken off the calling list. It's a non working number. they sell mortgage stuff. Next time they call I'm calling the cops to see if they can trace it.

This number has called my home numerous times. I answered it said hello 3 times and get a click. Starting to piss me off.

I find it very annoying to answer the phone when no one is on the other end & call back only to find out that it is a "non-working number."  I, also, have been on the do-not-call registry for many months.  This is SO irritating!  Thanks for the call screening solution that was posted.

I have been getting 2-3 calls a day from this number.  I was starting to think my husband was cheating.  There is no one there and when I have called it says it's a non-working #

I have been on the do not cal list since it began and I receive calls from this number a couple of time a week...and, of course, they are a "non-working" number. This should be illegal!

They call me many times a day for a few days in a row and then stop. A week or two later it starts up again. I am on the "do not call list" but they still call me anyway.

We get calls from this number frequently, there is never anybody on the other end of the line, and if I wait for a minute or so, I get hung up on. WHAT is the point of this mindless harassment?

finally, after 3 months of multiple calls per day, a live person was on the other line when i answered the phone.  they selling mortgage products.  i asked to be put on their do-not-call list and the caller politely agreed.  we'll see if it actually happens.

This company uses an autodialer meaning our number is dialed by a computer (instead of the person you speak with) and this computer times the outbound calls so that one of the agents will likely be avaialble to speak as soon as we answer. This company's algorithm for doing so is way off though.  When you pick up and there's no one on the line, it's because the computer dialed you when no agent was ready.

received calls daily. normaly dont answer calls I dont know. finally answered and they asked for my spouse. I said they were not home and could I take a message, she said she would call back and hung up. I called the number and like others I have read got the "not a working #". This borders on harrasment. If anyone finds anything to actually get the calls to stop, PLEASE post.

Like everyone here, I have been receiving calls for months from this number. I have told them I am not interedted in lowering my mortgage rate, and do not call again; only to be called again. Today, another call, only this time I got information from the gentleman. He works for goleadz.com, and was calling from Arizona. Maybe if everyone complains about http://goleadz.com/ they will stop.

They called me YET AGAIN this morning, and this time someone was actually on the other end. A stern male voice demanding to speak to the long-ago owners of our phone number. I informed him he had the wrong number, and hope this is all I have to do to stop the harassment.

Nobody on the other end when I answered. We are on national do not call list. We can can only block 12 numbers at a time, and all 12 slots are already filled by other harassment callers. What is the POINT of this mindless calling?

I was finally home today when this company called. Caller ID read Salt Lake City, UT. I?ve received many calls from this number in the past but never a message. The lady calling was offering me an opportunity to refinance my mortgage at a lower rate. Once I told her I wasn?t interested, she thanked me and hung up. Maybe the calls will stop now. (At least for a while)

They call every single day. They told my husband they had personal information to share with him, they finally got frustrated with him and hung up on him.

I have been getting calls from this number, I answer and the call hangs up right after my second hello, this normally happens about 2 days in a roll and it stops for a few days and starts again.

This number has called me 2x. The second time I answered and they asked for me by name, then proceeded to offer me a mortgage.

I have an unlisted phone number and am on the "no call list" and I don't believe they are a company I do/have done business with.

Just like everyone else, I tried calling this number back and got a recording that it was a non-working number.

i called cox and found a solution.   if you have Cox and a feature called Selective Call Rejection (i didnt know i had this, so chances are you have it too if you have cox) you can block up to 30 numbers.

to see if you have this feature, dial *60.  you should hear a recording telling you the feature is off, so press 3 to turn it on.  hang up.  dial *60 again and listen how to add numbers to block.

a nice thing is if the number that you want to block is the most recent on your caller id, you can dial *60 then press #01# and it will automatically add that number.  so as annoying companies call you, just hang up on them, then do the *60 #01#.

also add your number to the national do not call list.
www.donotcall.gov  (i was told it can take up to 90 days to activate)

I have also recieved calls from this number, but I missed them and they showed up in my missed calls log.
