They would only call if your son called them first and gave them your number, also giving them an incorrect age. They only call people who are 18 years or older, and people who have already given their numbers. The message they wanted to share was about Jesus Christ.

The called me to explain about their mission towards lord... But i said i am not free now. I know what they are come to say.. I don't want to hurt them... They want to know my available time. I said morning 7 am in Singapore.. So nowadays they are calling me continuously from 7 am to 7.30am.. I never answer the callas. I use these calls as my alarm.... Thats a good idea...

It's the Mormon church! They called and wanted to talk to my 13 year old son and give him an "important" message! How inappropriate is that????

Yeah, I got this phone call at 5AM...  When I looked up the number this afternoon, and tracked this page down, I assumed that they were calling me with information that the second coming was about to happen.  I must have missed it - oh well, I should have answered the call though - given that they woke me up and I'm not much of a morning person.  I could have made the other person's ears get red, from the vulgarity they'd that they'd have heard - and rightfully so...  (5:02 AM??? Really???)

Guess again honey!  I've NEVER ordered ANYTHING from them, never requested any information.  The only affiliation I had in anyway shape or fashion was my sons scout troop just happened to be at their church.  We don't go to the meetings anymore due to schedule conflicts and they still keep calling all the time.  They've left a few rambly messages about how our scout leader misses us etc..  If so, why isn't she calling herself?  It's just a ploy to get you to join and to bite bait of a "free" gift from their church.

I'm fed up with these annonymous callers. If they have ligitimate business why are they afraid to leave their name, message and number? I think it's time for some federal intervention to put a stop to these harrassment type practices.

If you get a call from this # its because you or a friend gave them yours when a free video or book was ordered. Their just following up on your order.

this phone number has called me for several months, once or twice daily and at different times and on weekends on my cell, yet they have never left a message.

It's Missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If you've ordered a Book of Mormon from Mormon.org you will get this call to make sure you received the book. I remember getting this same call from another number that didn't leave a message. I would suggest to anyone that you just ask them to stop calling and that you received the book.

It IS the LDS, or Mormon missionaries.  They are so sickly sweet, it makes me cringe, but I just can't be rude to them, so I just stopped answering (Was an April Fool's Day prank from my friend...gift keeps on giving).  Eventually, they'll stop.  I hope.  :-/

Tyler I understand you are happy with what you have in your church, but this does not mean you or anyone else has the right to cram it down my throat, my daughters, or anyone else.  Use your courage, strength, hope and happiness to do something positive for the world, volunteer to help storm victims or something else that will have a lasting impact.  Harassing people to join a church does nothing to further your place in the world or whatever your believe your after life will be, it is just harassment period.  No one has the right to continue to hassle another person when they've been asked to stop.  I won't do it to your family, why does it give your family the right to do it to mine?

That number is the LDS call center (Mormon) yes.  A person gave them my daughters cell number, who was a very vindictive person, lets be clear on that detail.  

We have many many family members in our extended family and can easily get any and all information on Mormon that we want through our own family.  I have now phoned them twice asking extremely nicely to the girls that answer to remove the phone number from their calling list, they have not so far.  

I am hoping if I have to ask a third time that will be it, if not then I will likely press on with harassment charges possibly because there is no desire in our household to speak to them, I am not paying for cell time for their continued calls that have been clearly requested to stop.

I have no issue with their faith or anything else, I have issue with repeated phone calls after they have been directly contacted and asked to stop calling.

I'm LDS.  What I learn at church has brought me nothing but courage, strength, hope, and happiness.  I suppose that's why they keep calling you all.  Because they know that what they share will bring you happiness you haven't known before since maybe you were married or witnessed a childbirth;  Life's greatest joys.  At first we may seem like a cult, but you can't bash it until you try it.

     My caller ID clearly has the "Mormon Church" on it for this number.  I did NOT request anything from them nor did I give our number to them. Like all so called "civilized" people the mormons put an entire hamlet to death in the 1800s. Men, women and children and babies were slaughtered. The mormon church will NEVER admit to the atrocity. Joseph Smith was a schizophrenic with 32 wives. He wrote their bible. Men wrote all bibles to control their women.  Too many hippocrites in the world. Look at what the Crusades did and the Spanish invaded Mexico and many people were murdered. They had to be catholic, or ELSE!  It has happened ever since the world became "civilized."
   It isn't a religion that will save anyone.  Faith is the most important facet of life.  Faith in WHATEVER one whats to believe.
  Incidentally, the young women missionary thought she would call me back and send the flock to our home!  Of course, they are trying to conver people.  How would you feel if you were told you could not come to your child's wedding becasue you aren't worthy?  Would you wear those undergarments hiding your body that "God" created?  Mormons are a sect and have a secret ceremony when people get married in the temple.   These are known facts.  Denying parents seeing their child "wed".  Confront the callers in with a "unconditional positive regard" attitude.  Remember, no one can make you mad or sad.  Keep your cool and hit them with the facts.  Shame on all hippocrites.  Whoops!  Every now and then one should look in the mirror!

They can believe what they want; I may not agree with it, but like I said, it's their beliefs. But when they try to get me to go online, give them more of my information, and visit the temple in Utah, then I have the right to be mad. I have asked them to stop calling and have told them that I am a firm Christian believer. I am not ignorant either. I have looked into their faith and the things that they believe and have many disagreements. I am not bashing them in any way, but when they tell me that I am wrong and should belief in "the prophet Joseph Smith", then I get mad. I do not believe in Joseph Smith and I would appreciate it if they would stop calling and trying to persuade me. It is very frustrating and I think if they are trying to convert people, they could at least try not to make them mad.

Actually, never once have I requested information for anything LDS, and yet they keep giving me calls and I've asked them to stop calling and they won't. They must have my number because I have not ever given them it. So, whatever you are saying in defense of them, it is actually not true. I have even asked them to stop calling and they continue to talk to me about going to Utah and looking up some mormon.org website. If I ask them to stop and I say "no thanks" about ten times in a phone call, you would think they would get the message.

Yea they claim to be a church but church people would not hang up on you or play the games they keep playing.  They called my phone 4 times in a row i picked up twice to cuss them out and they say nothing and just hang up on me!  Flipping religious people are more evil than people who do not worship god, well i will say for the most part I hope these people rot!!!

I agree, the Mormon Church has been nothing short of Kind to me! I am opting to Marry a Man who is Mormon, and he is also very good to me! They are strong in there beliefs and maybe some Faiths arent! Maybe you should focus on being positive on all religious beliefs instead of slamming beliefs that you know apparently nothing about....just a thought. Treat others as you would want to be treated!

I enjoyed the tour of the Mormon Temple in Utah and the ladies were sweet. They are nice and respectful unless they are crazy... so no issues. No need to bash the LDS, I wish everyone had good moral values and were as outgoing and nice.

They arn't awful and hateful they are just protecting what they believe in.

Now that doesnt mean what they did is right in any way but its important to realize that just because of what the supported and the fact that one family donated a lot of money to stopping same-sex marriage that  not all mormons are against gay marriage or look down at homosexuals as inferior. Generalizing Mormons as such is incorrect because I have met many that even support same-sex marriage. One of which participated in that thing where you dont talk for a day (sorry I forgot what its called). To generalize  all mormons as all being hateful only spreads more hate.

and while it does not make it better it is also important to realize that the LDS is not "anti-gay" any more than any other type of christianity. I have also met SO MANY people who are secular but still hate homosexuals and drop the derogatory F bomb every chance they get. (Again not that this makes it any better.)

I admit, this is the dark-side of christianity that I do not like, but please do not generalize.
