I got the same call.  Said they were going to sue me from Hector and Associates for an unpaid cash advance from Cash America - yea sure. i asked to speak with someone that could speak English.  he put some other thick accent Pakistani.  I asked where he was calling from.  He then said Pittsburgh, PA.  I aske him what was the name of the MLB team there - didn't know, actually didn't answer just said they were going to sue me.  Told him "Go F*** Yourself"  then he started in on a tirade talking about f****ng this, f****ng that.  I told him he wasn't going to f*** anybody that all he did was suck pig dicks - Muslim from Pakistan and he hung up.

getting calles from this number sayin i owe many to some company

Reced a message like all the ones above said it was time sensitive, and thereathing, law officer, some pakistani/ indian  who knows when i question him on sending some paper work to identify the company his accent became heavier and he sai he would just turn it over to the police, i told him that is fine sice i am send ing the information to the Federal Bureau of Invesitgation Fraud Dept. He hung up the phone and when i called the number on my CALLER ID it was constanly busy   , they are scammers

Received a phone call from this number in the morning.  Didn't recognize the number so i didn't answer then I got a voicemail threatening me.  Telling me that If I didn't call them that they were turn the information over to the county court house.  I haven't gotten any kind of loan so I immediately knew it was a scam.  They can go to the county court house if they want with whatever information they want but I have a clean record and have nothing to worry about.

called me at work. Looked them up on line while on the phone. Total scam. Told them not to call me back. They called me every few seconds for 30 minutes and them called for several days after. They had all of my personal information in including SS#. Changed all my passwords on my computer and told them I was reporting their information to the police. Calls stopped for a month and now have started on my cell phone.
Sounded like a call center. Could hardly understand his English.

This is the 8th phone call I have received.  This has been going on since March.  I have reported them to the police, better business bureau, FBI, and anybody else I can think of.  I have not borrewed any money from any payday loan companies.  He says his name is steve, his attn. 's name is Amy( and she answeres the phone as well).  Today he said he was a police officer and if I refused to pay or called him a scam artist, he would come to my house and injure me (in very explicit detail) he does not speak very well.  When you try to report this, the police and everyone (including lawyers) tell you there is nothing they can do, until you are injuried or they commit a crime against you.  I have tried not answering the telephone, (they have all of my information), ending up with 15 to 20 calls a day.  Suggestions??

Same exact message.  eastern European man, very threating voice called twice.  Lefft exactly the same message this is a scam.  DO NOT ever give out your SSN to anyone you do not now,
or have an affiliation with.  Use your call blocker if you have one.  And if you answer just say

I've recieved two voice mails from the 801#. Both say that I'm a 'reference' on a defaulted loan of one of my friends, whom they claim now has criminal charges and is being sued, and that if i don't cooperate I'll be faced with the same charges.  This guy is a joke and hard to understand, but it does concern me as to how and what information they have about me........

Got a call from320-059-331 (why only 9 digits right) message was very had to understand told me to call 801-732-7721 called and still could not understand asked to speak to someone in this country. He put me on hold and left me then calls me back 10 minutes later. I refuse to answer this is a scam!

this man called from 801-732-7721 had a heavy indian accent couldnt understand told him to stop calling and he said no he will keep calling and gave me an address what sounded like Morgan asso law firm 121 kingcade avenue pittsburgh pa 15244 and when i told him to send me something in the mail he refused what the heck. can anyone tell me if this information was correct.

Male caller w/ think Indian accent left message on my machine stating he was from a law firm and I was being sued.. never asked for me or my husband by name. I could not understand what he was saying.

Scam from India.  Claim you owe them money.  Total lack of skill is hilarious.  Give them hell!

got several calls from these a**holes. after I pressed the guy for info as to who they REALLY were, the guy threatened to rape my sister. when i told him i didn't have a sister, he said he'd rape my daughter. i have two daughters. if anyone knows how to find these people, i'm very interested. pm me.

I just recieved a call from this number 5 times i finally answered and told him i was going to take this to the real police and he hasnt called back

same to me officer john wilson at the 801 number. saying im doing criminal activity and will be arrested. i told him to send the cops over then.

i received several of theses calls which i kept and recorded....none of the so-called officers (thick indian accent) could give me any information as to who m filed the claim and if so why didnt they or couldn't they mail me the documents before using such strong arm tactics if i really owed thsi money.

i decide not to pay the anything and i received another phone call from another bogus number which is 206-577-9920 and he emailed some bogus looking official documents with various official looking symbols -  i didnt pay them either.    please be very cautious and don't get taken because all that they want to do is to take us to the bank  if they scream and ell loud enough withstrong arm tactics- because most people are honest and want to pay their bills.

I received two phone calls from this number from "Officer Bob Taylor"- foreign, couldn'rt understand the messages. Something about my ssn # and a payday loan- they are threatening. They are calling both my work and cell. I don't know where to report this, but it's CLEARLY A SCAM.

This American Legal Processing scam goes on and on.  Keep reporting their numbers on sites like this. Defeat these ruthless criminals.

I've been receiving calls once a month from my house phone and work.. This guy calling himself William Smith, Henry Smith, Nashville etc and it was all the same person with a strong accent saying that I owe him money from a company called Cash Advance it was an online site. He would use different numbers in different states, this man told me I owe a load which I never applied for saying that if I don't pay the company he would take me to court, I would ask him questions about my social and my account number he wouldn't give it to me..and I ask him if I'm going to court I didn't received any documents as I told him to show proof that I'm going to court and he would respond back saying " I'm not your fed ex", he would yell at me and hung up on me so I knew it was a scam from a man from a different country, I already talk to a detective about the situation so I have to file a compliant to the government.

I received a call this morning from John Wilson. He said he was with the U. S. Law Firm. I asked him if that was the name of the law firm and he said yes. He told me the converdation was being taped. I said I hope so. I asked him to speak slowly so I could understand him. He became angry and accused me of not trying to pay a debt. I told him I could not understand him and in order for me to take care of anything, I had to know what he was saying. He said he was going to put me on hold and get his supervisor to reason with me. I was put on hold, then the phone went to a fast busy signal, then hung up. These guys have called me before. Will not send paperwork via a fax or any other method. I told them repeatedly, if I had gotton some money at the first of the year over a year ago, I would still remember that. Come on, these guys are jokes to the scamming profession. It bothers me that they call, but I am not sending money to someone I cannot verify--to pay a debt I cannot verify.

I made a police report, and per the officer at my PD, these numbers are PREPAID CELL PHONES....What legitimate business uses prepaid cell phones?  This is a scam.  Unfortunately, these jerks harass me on my cell and at work.  Once they speak with you the calls tend to become more frequent.  I haven't spoken with them since January...they still call but about 1 a month.  It is still infuriating that there is nothing more I can do but hear this junk and their BAD attempt at collecting money with their very foreign accents, and English names.

Rec'd 3 phone calls from this number this morning....supposed paralegal John Wilson with the legal investigation department of the United States Law firm....said I need to call him back as he has an affadavit with my name on.....he will destroy my credit if I do not call him back.   This is the 4th set of these type of calls I have received...all saying the same thing....I don't anything, and a paralegal wouldn't be calling you....per the FTC....you would be served via through a certified letter...they won't send you anything...all they are doing is reading a script.  If they are calling you they have your information....put a fraud alert on your credit report and report this to your state and the FTC...only takes a few minutes.   In addition, all of the people you talk to have really strong accents, and very AMERICAN names...i.e. john wilson, harry lawrence, bryan smith...these are the ones I have spoken with.  Tell them to stop calling and harassing you, and that you are/have reported them to the govt for this scam.

I just received one from this number as well. He was really nice although I had trouble understanding him due to his accent. I am now wondering if this is money I owe this or not.

I just recently recieved another threating phone call from these scammer they insisted I owed em money but yet wont show me the documents of what i owe from cash advance they included my SSN# so now im worried how many other people got affected by this because its now harrasment im keeping track of all the phone calls they been maken these people wont slow down. they are all over the country and its shame our government  wont take any effort to clean up this mess.. how many people have they scammed and really paid all of what they owe .. well im not payin anything until i see a claime form, and or documents on what they say I owe.. they wont show me anything.  It is now time to start taken some kind of action on this im not going to change my phone no because of this  but im keepin track of all different phone no........ times they have callen .

recieved a call and this number was given party identifying themselves as a law enforcement officer saying a complaint for theft had been made against me for an unpaid cash advance.  very threatening and yelled saying funds were sent EFT yet it wouldn't show up on my bank staement.  Get real if i had extra money put in the bank I would surely notice it.  I questioned him about the account number and asked for the complainers phone number and ended up getting 3 different numbers each in a different state and none in the state he said he was a law enforcement officer in.  Well I have never taken a cash advance and I'm calling my state police.  a scam I believe.
