More of the same..called asking for the name of the CEO...that's not happening...oh that's ok actually I wanted to speak to someone in accounting about section number 3094904 and 21039 (or something like that)...ok so where are you calling from...VFI...and what's that...it's the name of the company like HSBC or IBM...and after that I was way done with this guy. Straight to voice mail. If they call back this could get ugly

They have called my office everyday since I returned from the Memorial Holiday Weekend. I remember them from before, so I just don't pick up the phone. If it was real, they would leave a voice mail.

I got off their list! I had to file a compliant with the BBB but I got it done.

As the others said this is a finance company, they keep calling here to a division office rather than the corporate office. This office has no say in financial decisions that is all handled through corporate and I have told them that before. First they will ask for the owner, and I would say the owner isn't at this office and then eventually they ended up with the managers name and started asking for him by name and say no when asked if they want to leave a message. Since this is not a 1-800 # you CAN block them, which I just did. If you have an at&t landline you access the blocking info by pressing *60.

Well, they called me, didn't leave a message.
Now I know who they are... so I'll start calling them once a day, for a few weeks... take up their time, just to share the annoyance.

Varilease Finance Inc., Asked for our CFO by name. To the voicemail with you!
kaileena 2014-03-07 16:57:24 Unknown
ok...so they wait and call again three months later. still think they are getting thru. not happening. If youcan't leave a message with a call back number, why bother? Silly people. Mike with VFI yet again. Called back and requested to be remove from call list. let's see if that works....

They, much like the rest of you have said, call and seem like they know the execs. I handle many exec calendars/phones so he kept getting me. Said his name was Lou and after not getting to talk to anyone but me, said he would send them e-mail. Not sure he has their e-mails as I did not give. I think he is now realizing that he is not getting past me.

How would you like sales people to ask for who they need to talk to?

I took the call this morning from Johnathan. Said their rates were so low they had a negative rate loan. I have no idea how this scam works but I think I'll put them on block list.

They have called 12 times in the last month, and have never gotten through, because when they called repeatedly in July/August, no one was interested in speaking with them. Hoping that eventually they'll just stop calling.

WATCH OUT! They're calling me from a new phone number
Caller ID shows: LEE MICHAEL
(801)674-8063
If you pick up/hang up your phone too many times in a row they'll call from a different number. SOB's!

Pretty much the same review as the previous listed, except this guy hung up on me when i questioned the reason for his calling only to immediately dial in again only to remain silent on the other line. Needless to say, that number (1-801-733-8100) has been marked...

They call every single week even after explaining we don't utilize their type of service. Asked for them to not call any longer - that didn't work. Given how they handle cold calls I can only imagine how their leases would be written.

They call often at the company I work for. They've asked for our President, CEO, and a past CFO by name.
After time they started to use a cell phone to call because I just hang up on them right away.Chances are that person probably took the only job they were offered so it could very well be their personal phone. This is all I'll give (801) ***-2062. The caller ID only shows "Wireless Caller" If you're so desperate to harass this person and go through all the 3 digit possibilities I'm afraid that you might not be any better than them though.
Hopefully having a partial cell number they've used on us though might help someone else out too

Got the call today. Unfortunately I answered and same as above some assclown went into a story about financing and needing to talk to our CFO "Steve", etc. I gave him Steve's ext. (I hadn't looked the number up yet so I was still being polite). This do***ebag then starts a tirade of why can't I get Steve on the phone and how this is important info blah blah. When he started talking down to me I started busting balls. The people in the office got a real kick out of my discussion with "Bill". I kind of hope the asshat calls back, I'm going to take it to another level with this idiot.

These people think they are soooo smart! I actually feel sorry for them.... What a lousy job they have -- trying to get in touch with CFOs and CEOs all damn day!!! I honestly don't know how these losers stay in business!!!

An extremely rude guy called named "Cody", first he asked for our CFO and I honestly told him he left for lunch (who calls during the lunch hour anyway!) so then he asked for a person's name who doesn't work here anymore and I found out later it's been about 10 years since they worked here. When I told him that he must have an old name, he asked if I could transfer him to the old employee's voicemail-WHAT? I just told you he doesn't work here anymore, how can I transfer you to his voicemail??? I asked him if he would like me to transfer him to the CFO's voicemail, and he was very rude but eventually said "ok, I guess that's fine". Then he has the NERVE to ask me "What's your name?" (very condescending) I gave him my real name because I'm the only one that answers the phone here, and if he is going to complain about me, then I'll just complain about him because nobody here knows or wants to talk to him! He is the reason why there is a gatekeeper!

Guy called from this number today, rude as hell. Didn't give me his name or his company name. Told them our CFO was in meetings all day (not a lie). "Well, so she'll be in tomorrow morning then?" Told them the best thing to do would be for me to take a message. "No message, I'll just try back tomorrow". So when I started to ask him if I could at least get his name/company name he hung up on me. Mother effer. Ooooh I can't wait for him to call back tomorrow :)

I got a VM that was a pause and then flatulence. Not joking. Looked up the number and here is is.
Rec 2013-02-06 21:16:14 Unknown
LOL...they ask for the CFO. We don't have one....just a controller. I'll continue to play with him. "The control? Oh, he's on the phone....she's in a meeting.....not in the office day....on vacation for a month." LOL!
OperatorRJ 2013-01-25 18:08:58 Telemarketer
They've started calling here again after a several month hiatus. They keep asking for our CFO and our controller. Butchering the controller's name in the process. When I transfer, the controller lets it go to vm, but he calls back and asks for the CFO and I just send him to the exec. adm. asst who doesn't transfer to the CFO. He can call all he wants but will get nowhere every time.
Creative 2012-11-02 13:04:22 Telemarketer
Yup. They call for the CFO and know her name. They call 3-4 times a week. I just put them into her voicemail and they never leave a message. They can continue calling till they're blue in the face, but I like the idea to keep them on hold .....
EE 2012-08-08 22:15:04 Unknown
They call and call but don't leave a message. Based on the above I will not pick up the call.
Atlanta 2012-07-05 17:10:25 Unknown
Voice mail message left but inaudible. I won't be picking up the call if they call again based on the above.

I picked up the phone after seeing their number on caller id, and just started BANGING IT ON THE DESK, and then hung up.

These guys must have been recruited from PRISON. They are rude, deceitful, lying, manipulative, arrogant jerks. I told the executives here that if they EVER figure out a way past me, that they should hang up on them immediately. Who would do business with a company so slimey? Not ours!
They do not understand the words "Do not call" or "Take me off of your list" or "No."

I have gotten calls from Mason and Matt. Matt is the worst. Actually, it is a toss up. They are the scum of the world. They talk down to the receptionist... which is the cardinal sin of soliciting. Hey guys!!! If you see this... YOU ARE A JOKE. You will never amount to anything.

The woman who called me sounded drunk. First she said it wasn't a sales call then she said it was then she said she was calling from a not for profit org than she said she would start charging me in a month. The only problem is she forgot to tell me what she was charging me for. She kept slurring and changing her story, It was downright embarrassing.
