This company is a total SCAM.  They claimed to be the 'Disconnect' arm of my electric company and threatened to turn off my power in 45 minutes unless I sent them some money.  I asked them to call me back in 20 minutes while I figured out why my electric bill was not paid.   I called San Diego Gas & Electric and they confirmed that it was a total fraud.    When they called me back to collect, I let them know I figured out their fraud.  She told me a few 4 letter words and hung up.
Do not answer their calls and ESPECIALLY do not send them any money.

I just got a phone call from this number and he was telling me that I want in a raffle of 2.5 million and a pearl white Mercedes Benz and I'm pretty damn sure it is a scam talking about how I have to buy a green dot card from Walmart

They called my business and they said they are calling from PG & E and wanted $1500 or they will disconnect

Do not accept calls from this number. They try calling stating they were shutting our power off in one hour and wanted a credit card for payment. This was reported to our power company and was told it was happening all over. Scammers trying to get your credit card. Do Not Give Your Information.

Called my business today telling me I was past due and must pay cash today or my service would be cut off. My bill is NOT past due and this is a FRAUD.

I can find nothing on this number except that is a cell phone.  It's funny how they will leave a message for some people and not leave a message for others.  Any legitimate business will have caller ID, or leave a message at least.  As for being on the do-not-call list, some telemarketing companies do random dialing.  Just because you are on the do-not-call list doesn't make you exempt from unwanted calls; who gets the list of people who don't want to be called?  If you don't have call blocker, you will get calls.

The laws pertaining to harassment are quite clear and concise.  If they violate these laws, then make sure they are charged.  However, if you are unclear on the laws yourself, the perhaps you should get acquainted with the statutes (or someone whom understands and can explain them to you, including your rights and potential retaliations)  

For instance, are they calling at 3:00 AM?  

Are they calling 20 or 50 times a day?

Are they threatening when they call?

Or is it simply a person doing their job, offering you a service or product via direct marketing?

Most businesses understand the parameters defined within harassment, however I find that a lot of people do not.  It does not constitute harassment if someone calls you to offer something.  HOWEVER, if they continually call after you request to  be put on the dnc (do not call) [providing you allow the appropriate time for it to get into their system, some places take a bit longer than others, but a couple days at the most I would say) that is one of the many definitions of harassment.  Another would be threatening you, another would be calling at ungodly hours at night.  But simple advertising and or marketing is allowed within the parameters of the law.

That's because Catholics don't go door to door trying to convince strangers to join their religion.

I get called many times a month from these people too. I don't answer the calls. They may be selling investment ideas from TD Ameritrade or something like that.

I have been plagued by unwanted & unsolicited calls from this company for Months! My phone number is also on the Do Not Call list. Trying to call #801-738-0052 back to get my number removed has availed nothing--their message simply says that this Magic Jack customer is not available, and no messages can be recorded. I telecommute for a high profile company, and my home phone is a business only number; this has become extremely interruptive to my work day. Continuous calls to sell life insurance, despite my number being on the "do not call" list.

Just got a call from them and wonder of wonders they left a message!  It's an automated message from a  telemarketing company trying to sell life insurance.

This number from salt lake city Utah and left a recorded message about life insurance. They are very annoying and I'm glad to know they bug everyone...not just me!

there is no way to place this request I have listened to their message to the end, but cannot leave a 'do not call' message to them.

Getting calls from this number in Utah constantly, even on the weekends  if you try to redial the number, you get a message that they are unavailable, cant leave a message because mailbox is always full, probably because there are millions! of people like me trying to contact them to tell them to stop calling! There must be a way to get them to stop this annoying behaviour.

I've been receiving 2-3 calls a week from this number for months. It calling regarding selling life insurance. It doesn't have an option to remove from list any a message center when calling back.

The idiots behind 801-738-0052 keep calling my husband's WORK NUMBER which should be on DO NOT CALL by default.  It seems to be life insurance, he keeps reminding them this is a business number and they keep calling back anyway.  We've explicitly added the number to DO NOT CALL, since it seems like business lines are no longer blocked from getting junk calls.

I keep getting calls from this number and no one is there.

THIS CALL PER THE CALLER ID IS FROM SALT LAKE, UT.    CALLED BACK AND THE RECORDING STATES THE CALLER IS A MAGIC JACK CUSTOMER NOT NOT TAKING CALLS.    NOT TAKING MESSAGES BECAUSE THE MAILBOX IS FULL.

How do you stop this harassment ?  Do you have a number or address from the original start up ?
Are they scientologist, mormans or just idiots ?   I will get to the bottom of it and report the people who posted it to the Attorney General of that state and the BBB 1  
Why should I watch my language when they are harassing me ?

They call every single day even tho we are on the dnc list. There is no way to call them back or have your name removed. I am not over 40 needing insurance. Grrrr.
