They said they are SOS Staffing, calling about a resume I out online yesterday, which is true.  Sounds legit.

This number calls at least 6 times every night. No one is there and it goes to a busy signal if I try to call it back. There has to be a way to stop them. Has anyone been able to stop the calls yet?

I had the same thing start with me today...Its very annoying that they don't say who they are - what is their purpose for calling?

(801)528-4845 called me.  They wanted $1.95 for grant info which I can not find even though they have my money already.  I think this a scam  also.  The name on the number was unknown.  Somebody is getting a lot of money from innocent telephone customers. I live in North Carolina.  I believe I had been called previously by (801)742-8162.  That is not showing up on my phone now.  It's a shame because I choose not to answer my telephone if I don't know the caller now. I hope they get caught soon!

I have found additional information about this phone number. I am reporting them to their service provider. Here's the info.

They also call me 15-20 times a day. Phone company put a block on my phone that was supposed to help stop it. They get through anyway. My only option is to change my number???
I'm all for reporting them to the U.S. Attorney Generals office and/or we should all put our phone bills together and bill THEM for all the minutes they have used up.

I am getting really annoyed with them because they call as early as 8 am and as late as 9 pm and many times all day long.  Usually I ignored them, but then started picking up so I could yell at them, but when I pick up, I always get a dial tone.  Finally yesterday I called them back to see who it was and tell them to stop calling.  They have an option to select customer service and another to be on their Do Not Call list.  I selected the Do Not Call option, but they called again at 8 am today.  I called back and selected customer service, but eventually a message came on that all the agents were busy and select another option from the menu.  I'm hoping that the Do Not Call list will be updated in a day or so, so the calls will stop, but I'm not holding my breath!

This is a grant scam.  These people call and claim they are giving you free information on grants.  In order to get that you have to pay $1.95 fee, so it is not free after all.  Then one month later they charge your account anywhere from 60-80 dollars.  I ahve not personally experienced this but I have been to several rip off lists and these people are all over them.  Be careful.

In the past week I have had over 100 calls from 8015289503 (up to 20 calls a day)... leave no message.  Today I started getting calls from another 801 number... 8017428162 ... its too coincidental... same calling pattern, same area code, one number stops calling and the second started... has to be the same people

I have been receiving these as well, usually around 15 calls per day.  I have yet to talk to a person.  I contacted my phone company who called the number.  They said that if you call it you can press a number to opt out of being called in the future.  

Frankly, sounds fishy.  Do I really want to call and show them that there's a living, breathing person on the other end?  Who knows how many calls I'd get then!  My solution is going to be to block the number under call rejection.  Since they always call from the same number I am hoping that will work!

They started calling me 3 days ago, Ok i got the message that i shouldn't answer them and lose minutes because they will just hang up.
But what started getting on my nervouse is, They called me at 8 AM .

CALLS ME 150 TIMES A DAY AND IT IS MY WORK AND SCHOOL CELL PHONE.

Calls me up to 30 times a day.

i keep receiving calls from this number on a daily basis sometimes two to three times a day and whenever id o no one answers my phone says that the calls come from Alta, Utah.

so i called them back and requested that my name get taken off of the list.  They call me back in about an hour and say, "yes this is a confirmation call, are you aware that you can get free money from the government"  i say "yeah, whatever, i just wanted off your list"  the lady says, "but sir, did you know you can just apply"  so i got in her face and told her i didn't want to freaking obama money, our nation already has enough freaking debt as it is."  she was silent for a second, and said "ok, i guess we can't help you no more" and hung up.  I'll report back if they call again.

this works in cyber attacks against computer servers, should work on a call center in India

calls over and over day and night

Let's call it nonstop on your free time.  It couldn't hurt.  And if we can we can try and coordinate some sort of attack on it, and no I'm not kidding!  Nothing else is working!

Everyone needs to call this number repeatedly on their phones all day everyday they have a free moment.  That's what I'm going to do.  Perhaps we can coordinate an attack!  And no I'm not kidding because I don't know what else to do!

I've been getting these calls as well. I called the number back this morning and got a recording that said I had reached a support center, but it didn't identify who.
Option 2 on the menu was for removing my number from their calling list. I choose this, but 4 hours later, I get another call from the same number. Best to not answer it.

801-742-8162 calls my personal cell phone number several times a week, I do not answer numbers that I do not have on my roster of people I know, especially at a distance several states away.  You would think they would quit wasting their time.  After I received a very rude call from some snippy little bi*** in Floriday trying to sell me something I did not want, I started this practice, I suggest others do the same.

After telling the to stop calling , they call every hour. The number says it is from Salt Lake City, but the person on the other end says she is in New Jersey but sounds like she is in India. Cannot understand them. They say something about government grants.Beyond that have no clue what they are talking about.

This number has called twice in the past hour.  When I pick up, no one is there.  I have no clue who they are and what they want

this number calls at least 20-25 times  a day. I have blocked one number (801 528 9503) and they switched phone numbers they are calling from.

There is never anyone there. Only sounds. I've called # back, to hear options... press 1 for customer service, press 2 to be removed from list. When try to remove from list, they call more frequently.

This is such a scam using up cell phone minutes.
