That's their outgoing number, and as it's connected it goes into a waiting pool to be handled by the next available operator. Basically your phone rings, you pick up and you're already silently on hold.

  To call them back the number is 1-888-809-4207. There's an automated operator that gives way to a real live person if you don't enter your account number. If you don't speak to the live operator she'll say hello three times with increasing frustration, then ask you to call back with a better connection and hang up. Each call is toll free and they hang up in about one minute six seconds

Citibank/HomeDepot has called 1-2 times the past 5 days (except Easter Sunday).
When i answer it asks me to wait for an operator, and 35-55 seconds later sometimes an operator will answer, sometimes it disconnects.
I called back the CallerID number 801-779-7008 and the following happened:
background music played and every 10-15 seconds a male voice announces please wait for the next available representative.
After 2 hours and 4 minutes, the male announcer stops, but the music continues.  Due to my own logistics, I had to stop monitoring after 3 hours (it was on speakerphone in the background while i was tending to other business), and at 7pm central time it disconnected.

If I call outside the hours 7a-7p central time, a female announcer states the office is closed and call back during regular business hours.

Between 06/09 and 07/09 thay have called 111 times to my cell phone and not one message. This is HARASSSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 30 calls from them with a max of 6 calls in ONE day. Is this harassment?

We get several calls from this number each day.  I tried calling back to see who this is but the endless message does not identify the business and no one ever answers.  Weird.

They won't stop calling me. They keep calling almost everyday. Today, they called over five times. I tried to tell them to stop calling but they just hang up.

I got called several times from this number today.

A lady said "Accounts Payable".

I answered, "excuse me, this is a private number. why you keep on calling me from different numbers today?"

Sorry.

I answered, no response.

I did get other calls from 816-420-1003 twice today, but with no voice mail.

They call every single day 2-3 times, won't leave message but I tracked phone number goes to Home Depot Credit Card. I am on the no call list and I do not have a home depot card. I want this to stop

calls all the time.

These people call, I call them back to see who they are and the message says "Our office is now closed.  Please call back between 7am-7pm CST."  Duh...I call it back right after they call!  Who are these people?  We don't have a single credit card.

I just called the number and again it said to call during regular business hours.  However, I did call during those hours.  It doesn't give an option to talk to a person it just sits there and repeats the message so I decided to start hitting buttons.  I hit *4 and it took me to a choice to dial by name.  Since I didn't have a name, I typed in "Smith" + # and then it asked me for more of the name.  I typed "M" + # and it took me to a man.  He advised me that this is a Citigroup number out of the Utah office and he was from Kansas City so he could not fix the problem but that he would send an email to the Utah group to fix it.  He said this had happened in the past as well.  I don't know if it will work, but if everyone does this, maybe it will go somewhere.  Maybe try typing in a different name and getting a number of people involved.  Good luck to all!

i keep on getting calls from "citi commerce".  they don't leave messages.  they don't even respond when i pick up the phone.  they call 5 or more times a day starting at 6:00 am.

who is citi commerce?  are you actually looking into inquiries or are you a telemarketing service yourself?  if theres anyone out there that has a clue to who these f****ng leeches are, let me be the first to know.

if so just leave the results on this site.  theres no need for you or anyone to have my number and caller id

Sears, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, The Home Depot, Staples, Shell Oil, and others.

Citi Card has all these private credit cards, so if you have one of these and own on it, this may be why their calling.

I get several calls a day from this number but I do not owe any money and I should not have collection co's calling me.

The guy that programs their dialer is an idiot. Makes sense for UTAH

You can call these people back at 1 888 809 4207. I've gotten lots of these in the past few days, well after a late due payment was already made to citibank.

  Citibank's number is 1-800-374-9700. It's toll free, and eventually if you wait it out the automated operator gives way to an actual person, and if you don't speak the living operator will become frustrated and hang up eventually. Total (toll free) call time has been between 2 minutes 47 seconds, the longest being 3 minutes 31 seconds, with the average falling closer to the former.

This number keeps calling and they dont leave messages nor do they talk. Who are they? I got this call 4 times yesterday. And twice already today.

CITIBANK keeps calling but leaving no message.   When I answer they ask a question, and I tell them that I have handled that with my computer online at their Website.   They tell me that they have no way of knowing what goes on at their own website.   Does that mean that Citibank has two heads?   Citibank has a website, and Citibank has no idea of what is done on their own Website.   It actually is the HOME DEPOT website but is the link for a CITIBANK account.   Anyway there is no problem, but CITIBANK seems to be the last to know.

ur wrong.  they don't stop calling.  our home depot card is paid in full EVERY month.  we currently have no balance & we still get these calls 3 - 4 times a day 4 days a week.

same call - same details.  Just a little tip to "wise guy".  ur smart a*** comment should be disregarded by all.  we have a home depot card but there is no balance on it & we get these calls 3 or 4 times a day 4 days a week.

It's great everyone is trying to expose these telemarketers but does anyone know how to report these f****ng a***oles to someone who can actually do somthing about it?

I've been getting the same calls several times a day for weeks  with the same results when I call them back
