Oh yeah? How in the world did a Research Company start showing Political Call, and several other spoofed Caller IDs unless the fake researchers are Card Service freaks in disguise? Since you are here defending this number, you must be part of a boiler room that tries to scam people claiming to be Card Services right? Aha, not that smart for a scammer. If people want to do a surveys, there are plenty of surveys available elsewhere. They don't have to believe a boiler room wimp. Now go back to your cubicle, and clean that chair.

Those callers were just market researchers and not telemarketers, and they are actually looking to speak with a live person who is qualified to answer the survey. they are not allowed to leave a message when they reach answering machines. someone called me last month from the same no. I answered their questions, it was political survey. You can tell them if you are not interested in taking the survey and tell them to remove your number from their calling list.

got a random call on my cell phone yesterday, 5:02 pm, from 801-823-2031 (i missed the call as i was out of the room). after some internet searching, i find this company from Ogden, Utah, and judging from everyone's comments, they were likely calling about a political survey. am i the only one who's sick of this? they're getting invasive to the point where it's creepy and rude. my mother has been living at my grandparents' house for a few months, looking after them and then my grandpa when my grandma died. and somehow they call and ask for her, like they know she's there. maybe it's coincidence, but it's rather freaky. every time they call she screams at them saying that my grandpa doesn't need to deal with this annoyance right now given the situation. i agree with her, but every time we tell them to stop calling, they ignore us. is there a do not call list we can sign up for? calling cell phones should be off-limits anyway, they're wasting my minutes with this crap. >:\

the caller called my daughters phone several times today while she was in school. and then again after school she answered the phone and they asked if they could speak to her mom and dad... she said it creeped her out... she said no and hung up on them and they just called her again.

So supposedly they aren't doing anything wrong and aren't harrassing anyone according to this CASRO.org group, they're "complying with research industry standards, best practices and relevant laws" Their website also says "All CASRO members must adhere to the CASRO Code of Standards and Ethics, the enforceable standard for research businesses for more than 30 years."

CALL THEM AND LET THEM KNOW THAT AT LEAST ONE OF THEIR MEMBERS (SSI/Opinionology) ISN'T LIVING UP TO THAT CODE OF STANDARDS AND ETHICS!

They keep calling me and don't leave a message.  If i dial the number it states that the phone number is no longer in service.  They called me on 7/27/12 and on 7/28/12

I answered and they had my name...barely.   They were going to inquire about conditions in Wisconsin, USA.  I replied we are not in USA and we are yoopers from a country "up-north".

They don't leave a message, which means they are some type of scam. Why would you call sombody and not leave a message unless you really don't have anything of substance to say?

I am on the Federal Do Not Call list yet I received an unwanted call from this number on 7/22/2012 at 4:54PM (CDT).  The name is "UTAH CALL".  It's a shame that the "Do Not Call" laws are unenforced and disrespected.

I own a home in St.Louis, MO but live on East Coast. I just received this call on my CEL PHONE! 5:21pmEST 7/14/12.
By the time I got to the phone they were gone so I looked them up here and found what all the other people have been getting is the same as mine.

No one answers when the phone is picked up - but you can hear people talking in the background.  Name comes up as "OGDEN" on caller ID.

I live in the Midwest and as far as I know, I don't know anyone located in the 801 area code. I received a call from this number (801-823-2030) at 6 PM, and when I answered, I heard for just a split second what sounded like a person's voice right before the click of the caller hanging up. I'd think nothing of it if I hadn't seen the longstanding complaints about this number here.

They call all day long. They never leave a voice mail. Can't this be harassment?

06-26-2012 @ 9:07 PM, 801-823-2030 called.  Caller ID showed "UNKNOWN NAME".  Call came from Ogden, UT.  When I answered, said hello 2-3 times until woman finally answered.  I asked her if I was talking to a live person?  & she said yes, & giggled.  Then I asked her what are you going to try and sell me that I don't want?  She said nothing.  We're not selling anything, we're doing a survey.  Told her I don't do surveys, and that we're on the DNC listings, so they're breaking the law.  She said we're not selling anything so DNC doesn't apply to us. (?)  I then told her I want you to remove my name & phone number from your calling lists.  Also, you are never to call this number again, EVER!  Then hung up on her.  Still wish I could put a stick of dynamite up their butts and light the fuse!  Let them watch the d**n thing burn down 'til it explodes!

I'm from Missouri too.  Got a call from them and they didn't leave a message.  Caller ID showed Unknown Name.  Must be legitimate, all legitimate callers block their name.  From the location, Ogden , Ut. , it's probably some mormon sleazebag wanting people to vote for Romney.

Just got a call from this number.  No one talked on the other end but could hear them having a conversation about "thick girls", I don't think they heard me answer.

They have called us for 2 days in a row at late hours in the evening. Nobody answers and when I call that number back, it says that it has been disconnected! How can it be disconnected if they just called me. I'm  reporting them to the Do not call list and I am going to contact my district attorney's office too.

We got a call from 801-823-2030.  Caller ID read "Out of Area" but showed the number.  Did not answer and no message was left.  We have Phone Tray and I will block this number.

Just got one of these calls in SW Missouri.  I will not answer any number I do not recognize.

I'm from Rolla, Missouri. I keep getting calls from Utah. I think they're just targeting Missouri callers. Probably political survey.
