Found the number on my caller id.

They left a creepy sounding message in a computerized female voice: "We will call back later."

Got another one from them yesterday (that makes 12 so far). That same # calls almost every day. This is weird. There's NEVER anyone on the other end (at least not yet). I don't get these guys -whoever they are.

How can you tell them to stop calling when there is no one on the other end? I had to call the # back to try to tell them to go away (more or less), and I get a recording saying: "Thanks for calling customer service. If you wish to be removed from our calling list please enter your phone # now. If you do not enter your phone #, we cannot remove your number from our list." It then hangs up if you don't enter a #. Uhhhh....there's more than 1 thing wrong with that picture! I called the Federal Trade Commisiion and gave them the # that was on my caller I.D. and they said that if I get another call to let them know about it again to compile complaints.

So what is the answer?  I have told them two times now to stop calling, that I am on the do not call registry.

Go away. I will never answer your incessant calls.

Getting calls from this number every day. How to stop?

If this is a legit phone call, they need to understand they need to go away.  They are way too annoying.

Nobody signs up for these phone books and nobody even wants them anymore. The only thing we want less is your damn phone calls. Get a real job and leave other people ALONE!

This is a survey from the Yellow Pages.  They just wanna make sure that the people they hire to deliver the books to your doorstep don't just say they did when they actually just threw them down the sewer to collect a check.  You'll notice you only get these kinds of calls after you sign up for a delivery service or something gets left at your doorstep.

This number keeps calling almost 3X a day.....It is showing as YPR wants to verify if a service has been done.

I called the number and the robot said it will remove my number in two days...we'll see, otherwise war is declared. I pay the extra fee to not have my number sold to others because I have to sleep on my phone being on call.

I keep getting calls from this number too..  They asked if I got my yellow pages.. I told
them Yes and hung up... but they are still calling..
Next call I am telling them... I am on the DNCL

Keep receiving this call.  Recorded message stating that they are "Conducting a service verification"  no one is ever on the other end of the call.  uugg!!

I received a phone call saying that they are from Yellow Pages Research.  They offered me a no obligation week of the local newspaper.  I do not trust them.
