beware of this number also.. i called a commercial advertisement i heard on the radio to see what it was about totally nothing about college then told them i wasnt interested after they told me that there was a 99 dollar charge i said no thanks and they tried to talk me into it. i told them no and they hung up then about 30 min later i get a call back from the number above not even the 800 number i called on the radio and it was some guy named justin who said he was from greenmentor and said he was calling about me trying to get into college. justin sounded just like the guy i talked to from the 800 number i had called. he asked if i was i college i told him i was enrolled for next semester and then he asked do u plan on going to college?? what an idiot i must say. if ur going to run a scam make sure u make sense of yourself and try not to get caught..i said didnt i just talk to you about the advertisement.. it got reallyu quiet for about 30 seconds and he saiys no mam i am from greenmentor i said thats funny becasue u sound just like the guy i just talked to and said no thanks.. he told me to have a good day and sorry he couldnt help.. SCAM!!!!  i tried to call this number from my house and blocked my number and it reports out of service when i called back from my cell phone where they called me to see what it said its just a voice recording seeming to sound like a young kid claiming they are the greenmentor press one to speak with a rep or 2 to take ur name off their calling list!

Keep getting calls on my cell from 801-847-7006. I call back and it's out of service. I answer and silence.

Call came in on my Google Voice answering system. No message was left...3 seconds of silence.

they called me twice, i called this number back and it was the green mentor, i hung up. i want them to stop calling me

they called me 3 times today. I screen my calls and since I do not recognize this number I do not answer.

I see call on my cell phone caller ID from this number daily. I tried to answer and got silence. I tried calling it and got a voice recording that said it's out of service

I got a call from this number today.  I did not answer.  Another scam call came right before this one.  I'm not sure if this person uses more than one number.  I reported the first number to the FCC and plan to do the same with this number.  Be careful with your personal info.  It's the holiday season and con artists are plentiful.  Please report to the FCC.  It may seem insignificant and controllable, but if they (FCC) continue to get complaints, then maybe something will be done to stop this nonsense.  Con artists will not stop on their own or just because you are tired of them calling.

Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer but "they" are calling my personal cell phone so I won't waste my minutes.  If I think about it later I'll call the number back when I'm on "free" minutes and see if I can get any additional info.

Started getting calls a week ago. Requested removal but they persist. I never signed up for college info, so they lie.

KEEPS CALLING MY PHONE FOR SOMEONE ELSE, KEEP TELLING THEM THIS IS JUST A MESSAGE PHONE BUT KEEP CALLING ALL THE TIME  SOME TYPE OF COLLEGE HELPER.

This is actually American Fork UTAH. It isn't a business but a city near Provo Utah.

They keep calling me, even though I told them I was NOT the person they claimed wanted the information. Later the first night, more people called, only this was a Debt Collector, again for someone else, but same name as the supposed College people, Something is very wrong here. The Collection people that called were incredibly rude, and kept calling back..as did teh College service people. I don't have call waiting, I usually just pick up teh phone. This number keeps calling and not leaving voicemails. I don't answer numbers I don't know, and I want them to stop.

They have been blowing up my phone since Monday! I answered once and they said they were from a company trying to match colleges with prospective students for free. so weird..

I have been getting tons of calls from this # when I call back the only option is to press 1 if you wish to further your education- I pressed 1 so I could tell them to leave me alone and it responded with a msg that someone will call back. When they called back I told them I am moving overseas and do not wish to further anything. He said to answer some questions and it will just take a min. I said fine. He asked what studies I would be interested in. I told him NONE as I just said. He told me he would just call back later. I said that there is NO NEED IN THAT AS I AM NOT WANTING TO ATTEND SCHOOL and he hung up.

Got a call from this number and when I answered I was told that it was "Ryan from Degree Mentor and I was calling because you showed interest in going to college." Given that the voice sounded like a recording and I am already studying for my MBA, I wasn't sure about the call so I asked him to tell me where he was calling from again. He pratically repeated his previous statement so I told him that I have already gone to college. He stated that he was sorry that he wasn't able to help me and for me to have good luck. Then he hung up and I immediately searched the number. No harm no foul as long as they don't call again but this is a bothersome method. Call me about ways to expunge my student loan debt not how to create more!

I am the type where if I do not know the number I initially let it go to voice mail.  If the person needs to get in touch with me, they can leave me a dang message identifying themselves, who they are with, how to call them back and what they need.  If they call and I ignore the call and they don't leave a message, I assume it's not important and don't call back.  Sometimes I don't call back when I get messages, depending on the importance of everything.  Usually if you just let these kinds of people go to voice mail they don't try to call back.

If any of you have ever gotten an online payday loan, or anything along those lines, the Department of Homeland Security is investigating a scam that has been calling people on alot of lists. I was told I should call them and submit a report.
