Applique 850-308-6518 is another bs company hawking innocent people... My mother's ( an elderly lung cancer patient) account was debited for $3.00 yesterday.  Credit union is refunding the charge.. I hope these a**%%%% choke!  They should be ashamed of themselves!!

I got charged on my credit card statement last month and the phone # was the same. Had to cancel the card. I spent half an hour filling out forms to file a complaint with FTC. At the end the complaint was rejected and never went through. Nice.

I did not receive a call from this #, however, it was on my Jan 2014 bank statement as the contact # for LucidSoft who charged $5.00 to my debit card. I have no idea how they got the card information. It belongs to my Aunt who is in a nursing home and is used for 4 specific bills each month. The card had not been used for anything else or the card # entered anywhere prior to this $5.00 charge.

I will be contacting my banks fraud dept. first thing in the a.m. to cancel the debit card AND I will be filing a complaint with the FTC using reference number 48555738 per the real LucidSoft's email. (ABOVE) This has been going on for 9 months that I've found, probably more and they need to be STOPPED! Please file a complaint with the FTC. $5.00 is $5.00 and thats a lot when one depends on SS to pay the bills!!!

I just had this exact thing happen to me! I was sitting at home (did not use my debit card for a few days) and suddenly got a text message saying that a charge had been applied to my account by LUCIDSOFTINC with a phone number for the merchant listed as 801-895-4945 - the charge was for $5.00 but costed me over $30 because it caused my account to overdraft!

I called the merchants number I mentioned above and received the SAME message the rest of you posted. It is a British accented woman and the automated message just claims that the caller can no longer be reached.

I called my card company instantly! They told me I had to wait until the chage actually posted and was not pending in order to start a dispute over the charge. I blocked my debit care then and there! I knew something was fishy!

The charge happened on 1-20-2014 and I filed the posted dispute on 1-21-2014.

I thought it would be in my best interest to see if I could find anything out about this company online - to try and see why they were charging me for no reason... and I came across this forum - that explained the EXACT problem I was encountering.

I am mind blown. Now it will take 2-3 months to dispute the transaction with my card company... but I have printed out all of your responses to fax to my card company to show them that I am not the only one having this issue!

I think I may just go back to good old cash!! #Pissed

Please report to the FTC...these people have got to be stopped!!  But if we don't report...they will not know what's going on.

No call, but got a five dollar charge to my bank account on January 6th from the same company and number.  Can't believe the first posting for this was in May and they still haven't been stopped.  Seems like people smart enough to pull this off for this long could find an honest, well paying job somewhere in technology.

got the same charge today on my health spending account I am reporting it right now.

I just was looking over my statement and got charged 2.00 also I called the number on my bank statement and got the English lady on voicemail.  I then researched at found that the legit company has a fraud claim  I will be cancelling my credit card and asking for a new one this is BS that it is taking your banks so long to catch this person it been at least 6 mnths that people have been complaining.  Ya it was only 2.00 but times how many.  Id really like to know where there getting out info.  I had been to Dairy Queen a week prior and also had charged on my PayPal account a week or so prior to the charge so I hope they find the creepers that are doing this and shut them down.  I will also be filling a complaint with the fraud department and the BBS.  Oh one more thing i never got a call just the charge on my card.

This number is associated with a verified VISA Credit fraud operation! Any info found should be directed to VISA Fraud Prevention at  866-273-9888 .

I had a $5 charge on my statement on 11/4/2013 with LUCIDSOFTINC Draper UT and the phone number also.  Called them and got the message machine.  Filed fraud charge paperwork with my bank, and filed a complaint with the FTC.  The transaction was made as a POS - Point of Sale, so that means they have my debit card number.  I rarely use my debit card online, but have a few times and also in one of my phone apps, so possibly it was swiped from one of those places.  I have ordered a new debit card that I will not be using online anymore.  What a huge hassle...

Got a $2.00 charge from LUCIDSOFTINC 801-895-4959 UT  - no phone call that I am aware of although I have not checked my vmail at home. This showed on my bank account that we did not make nor ever heard of. There is a real company called Lucid Software and they make graphing software and they too are aware of these imposters and have also filed a complaint with the FTC; I saw this when I googled.  I immediately filed a dispute with my bank and warned them that this is a fraudulent charge and will be filing claims via internet about this company.  I had made recent purchases on Amazon and Etsy and will be sure that my card is not saved now.

I just got his for $9.95 on my BOA debit card. Now have to call and cancel the card.... lame.... :(

Out of no where I got debited last night for $ 5 . Who ever is doing that he know very well that he is stilling from banks or credit cards, because we get our refuds but the bank have the loss. I am in NY I dint use my card no where but only pay my verizon bill over the phone but again my ATM card was store there for many years.

Same thing over here. Just noticed a charge for $5 on my checking account from LucidSoftInc and I have no recollection of making this purchase. Did the same as others have mentioned: called the number listed with the company name, got the recording of the woman with the English accent. Seems quite suspicious so I called my bank and they canceled my card. Stinky. :(  Hope they catch these guys.

Never got a call, but I too had it happen! Was checking my bank statement last night and saw the unauthorized charge from LUCIDSOFTINC 801-895-4945 for $5.00!! Called my bank and cancelled my debit card. I am sooo pissed! I am about to call the FTC and report the slug(s)!!  I am unable to pinpoint any place where I used my debit that may have taken my info, it is just random. Never had anything like this happen before!

Unfortunately, we are aware that another company has been impersonating us for several months now. From what we've seen, this company nearly always charges either a $2.00 or a $5.00 charge and it shows up on your statement as LUCIDSOFTINC 801-895-4959 UT. If this is you, it's likely fraud. As you have mentioned, if you feel you are in this category, you should definitely contact your bank and dispute the charge as a fraudulent charge.

Never got a call. I just looked in my bank acct of boa and saw a charge from LUCIDSOFTINC for 5 dollars. Don't know who they are. I recently made an eBay purchase but that was through PayPal and that doesn't seem like it was effected. Going to the bank tmrw to see if they reverse the charges. I already cancelled the card. Definitely think its a scam.  

Got hit today for $5.00 out of my PayPal. PayPal is sorting it out and refunding me. Someone needs to put these idiots in jail for a long time!

They got me too, I also recently made a purchase on amazon so maybe that is how they received my info. Anyway, I got a new debit card and my money back through my bank

They got me for $5.00 on my debit card too, who knows how and they won't return the call, I just left a message about all of us here online who know what they are up to and sounds like time for a class action law suit, the fact that I called them cowards and thieves will probably not get me a return phone call but suspect a Lawyer would be interested in such a case. Get a real job Lucidsoft,Jerks.

Fraudulent Charge on my BOA Debit Card on 9/30/13. Tried calling them, a***oles didn't pick up. Filed a dispute, and was refunded the money. Not quite sure how they got my card info, I was traveling in San Diego and Los Angeles when this occurred.

I didn't get a phone call, they somehow got the debit card number of my company account. (Thank God the balance hits zero weekly) They tapped me for 9.95, doesn't seem like much, I figure its a first try just to see if someone is minding the store. All the info I could glean from the credit union is 7700 Eastport Pkwy. Never heard of it, never heard of them. My old flip phone doesn't need a soft case, it needs a garbage can. Really scary? I've only typed that card number into the computer once, for a license application at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Trust no one!

I live in NC and same charge happened to me. My bank said it was through amazon. If you have an amazon account and that card is linked to it I would change your password and delete card info for now.

I just had the same $5.00 charge on my card on 9/18 at 3:13pm. Funny thing I was in bed with a fever. Had gone to Michaels in Matthews NC earlier that day but that was all. My bank will reverse the charge and is sending me a new card. My bank said it was for a Verizon phone case through amazon. I changed my amazon password and deleted all my card info from there for now. If anyone else has an amazon account and their card is stored on the site I suggest you do the same.

I just got charged $5 today by the b****hes.  Just called BOA and cancelled my card immediately. Used my card at Wal-Mart and McDonalds in Seagoville Tx. And got gas yesterday on I-35 & Mockingbird. If anybody else has been to one of these places and had it happen, coincidence I think not. Report it. Damn crooks!!!
