Had me send them an invoice from PayPal for a chair I had listed on Craigslist. Then sent me a fake email from PayPal stating that I had received a payment from this "buyer" in the amount of the chair PLUS $300 that I was instructed to send to the trucking company for transport of the chair AND that the whole Payment would be placed on hold until I sent the trucking company the $300...And guess what? THAT money would have to come out of MY pocket since the entire payment was on hold with PayPal. If that was really the case, the payment would be visible on my PayPal account and it would show as being on hold. No payment was ever made to my account, and it would never be.

Don't reply, it's a scam

I too posted an item on Craigslist.  I got a text message that was kind of generic from this number.  It referred to my listing as "item" as if it were a generic text.  I don't think it is a legitimate buyer.

Posted item on cregslist. Wanted me to give them my address and paypal account. Then a shipping company would contact me. I have asked many questions. This person did not answer all info.
