Petco gives our information to this 3rd party "that randomly calls our customers".
So out of all their customers I get "randomly" picked 3 times this week!? Survey Sampling International (SSI) does not sound like a vendor as they state below. My "recent" in store experience!? Been about 8 months since I've been in-store. Either their Customer Relations Coordinator doesn't know jack or is lying. Either way, shame on Petco.

Got calls from 801-899-4121 & 801-899-4131 & 801-899-4132. Petco also has my phone # as an account.
Is that Petco's way of getting around the do not call list because we "were" customers.
Personally, I'm writing Petco, showing them this stuff here and now a PetSmart shopper. If legit and working for Petco, they lost a customer, if not, Petco can get on these peoples a****.

It's actually SSI, 701 E. Timpanogos Pkwy, Bldg M, Orem, UT 84097 USA, 801-373-7735. Contact: Gordon Bishop, info@surveysampling.com. They get contracted to do surveys for all sorts of businesses.
Watch for either 801-899-4121 or 801-899-4131. They also have offices in Connecticut (203) and Ontario, Canada (905), but I've only seen calls out of their Utah Call Center.
There is supposedly a "legitimate" opt-out form on their Web site: www.surveysampling.com under "Received a Call from Us?".

They just called me, and i heard someone talking to another person like a butt dial, when i said hello they hung up. I called back and got an automated voice message saying it was SFI, an independent research organization. I also shop at PetCo. But i didn't talk to anyone.

Person claimed to be from PetCo taking a survey. Asked if I made any purchases there recently. I replied that I didn't, and they hung up before I finished. Extremely rude. I guess I'll just shop at PetSmart for now on.
