THEY CALL ALL DAY AND I DONT OWE A THING!!!!VERY ANNOYING!!!!

Left msg on machine wanting me to call back so they could show me ways on how to save $ spending my tax rebate on them! How rude!

They kept calling and calling and leaving no messages. When I did pick up the phone, there was dead silence on the line. I took the advice of the first caller and did a call back. I asked them to remove my number from their database. They asked me if I knew so-and-so. I said no. They said it was an old number and they were trying to contact a customer. They were cordial and apologized for the inconvenience.

Just call back the # and speak to someone and they will remove your # from their database.

You need to get the correct telephone numbers before you start talking out of your a**.  You folks call wrong numbers.  Why don't you verify the information before you start bothering people.

Unplug your phone.  It helps.  Just don't answer the cell phone.

If I had the money or had a job, I would pay my "Effen" bill.  I was paying my bill until my UC benefits ran out and there are no more extensions.  I lost my job and I have been unable to find another one.  Maybe if you were unemployed, you'd know how it feels.  I had to make min payments when I lost my job and did that until my benefits ran out.  I've been looking for work, but the work is not out there.  I was laid off by no fault of my own and worked for my prev co for 10 yrs.  Always had good credit and a job until now.  Discover would not work with me unless I made automatic payments, meaning, they would attach themselves to my bank acct.  I have no money and no job.  I can't pay anymore, can't help it.  If I had money, I would pay.

calls 5-6 times daily starting at 8:00 7 days a week.

I get these calls upwards of five times a day.  There is never anyone on the phone, it just asks me to hold for an important phone call.  I have never had a Discover card, so I am not sure why they are calling.  I have never actually spoken with anyone, as I hang up every time I hear the recording.  I figure if they want to talk to me, a human will be at the other end of the phone.  Next time, I might actually wait for a person to get on the line, then let my four year old talk to them.  I am sure the operator would love to hear about his Hot Wheel cars or how he played in the sand that day.  If nothing else, it would give my four year old the thrill of chatting on the phone!!!

Discover card!!! These people are PERSISTENT! They start calling at 8 AM and don't stop until 9 PM. It gets ridiculous!

Constantly are calling non-stop....if money was there it would have been paid for....god damn idiots...

OK I understand that uif you owe it you should pay it. That's correct.
But what about if you don't even have the $@U*$&T^ card as so many have already stated.
My cell number has been mine for eight(8) count em 8 yrs. So how is it they are "researching" an account from 2002. Next call get reported.

i will admit working as a dc COLLECTIONS rep does Suck. we call all the time and have to put up with a bunch of people!
but if you think about it PAY YOUR EFFIN BILL!
if your PAST DUE you will get a call. and if its means having to call a relative to get another # to find you we will :D dc does want is money! think about it though....
if you let just some random person you dont even know borrow a credit limit of lets say... 3,000 and have all gud intensions of them paying a SMALL min payment of it... not even the full balance! and oops you miss a payment? wouldnt you be calling them too!?  THANK YOU!
dc does do alot to help out people that need it. trust me. like me most of the dc employees are soooo nice and respectful but when you start screaming and being a jerk it doesnt make the call go nice...
all i want to say now is stop screening your phone calls and PAY YOUR BILL :)

1-800-902-2092.  They tell you to call toll free 1-888-347-3746 in the message but it is Discover, and yes they'll call a few times a day.  I don't receive any calls from my other credit card the way I do Discover.  I can't wait to pay them off and close the account.  I can't take the calls anymore.  I'll stay with Visa.

Asking for this person by what would appear to be a first name... maybe hoping that I will become that person? It would appear that they are trying to sound very 'official' with a "tape recording Beep" advisory sounding through out the call... The one caller advised that they were a law enforcement agency but refused a call back number and name.

contact your telephone provider and get them to call the company on your behalf to get your number removed.

I used to get these calls from 801-902-2091.  Now the last digit is a 2.  THE RUDEST PESTS I HAVE EVER TRIED TO DEAL WITH!!!  Last time I used somewhat abusive language, next time I'm pulling out all the stops.  
Before, they claimed to be with Discover Card.  I have never had one of their cards and never will. This time,they denied being with Discover Card but said they were with "Blah-Blah-Blah" Financial Services (didn't catch the name).  They will give their first name, but that's it.  I refuse to tell them anything.  the National Do Not Call Registry is not doing much of a job, now, is it?

THEY CALL FROM 8:01AM TO 8:59PM 7 DAYS A WEEK ALL DAY LONG. IF I ANSWER THE PERSON IS BARELY ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH, THEY ALSO CALL MY WORK AND MY RELATIVES EVEN THOUGH IVE ASKED THEM TO STOP.

I got a call from this number during class, so I missed it.  They didn't leave a message and when I called back they said that my number wasn't in the system anywhere.  She said it may have been them seeing if I wanted a Discover card.

six very annoying calls in one day starting at 9:48 AM,12:38 PM, 3:05 PM, 4:57PM, 6:37 PM, 8:45 PM

I pay every month. Bank automatic deduction. I took the call. Talked to a man for a few minutes. Got my phone bill, and the SOB phone call was ten dollars.I was charged for taking the call. I this within the law?
