Bizarre-sounding call. Sounded like someone was calling from a wind tunnel or from inside a jet engine or something. I couldn't make out any voices, just noise.

they have been calling between 2 and 4 times a day for the last 3 0r 4 weeks. I have disconnected my answering machine, so it just rings. They call at about the same times every day, and let it ring the same number of times. So, im pretty sure its calling from a computer, not a live person.In the past{im on the no call register}after a while if they got no answer, they would just stop calling. Not these jerks.

just got a call from this number, just got some beeping sound. Im current on all my payments and my credit report doesnt show any discover card.

this number called me several times a day on my home phone... they couldn't leave message because the calls went straight to my fax machine...but it is still very annoying... I also don't have a Discover Card

they are up to at least 5-7 calls a day...notice they dont call on fridays?  that is because of job cutbacks...it is discover card.  they will hound you until you die.

if you dont have one, they will transfer you over to someone who can give you a card over the phone.

if you still dont have one, but were stupid enough to give your information to them, then they will take the card out in your name...

This number has called me almost every day for the past week asking for somebody I don't know.  Every time, I tell them they have the wrong number, yet they seem incapable of making a note of that.

I just got a call from this same number. All they said on the message is "b***h." I don't have a discover card. I won't ever get one now. I randomly get messages for some random person I don't know.

This party phones my cell phone at least twice a day, sometimes 3-4 calls a day; never leaves a voice mail.  I don't pick up the call since I know it's either a scammer, a solicitation, or something else of no interest to me.  This site says it's from Discover Card which stymies me, since I have never in my life HAD a Discover card so I am obviously not their customer, nor their debtor.  I am also retired and no longer working, so why would they be soliciting ME to become a new cardholder when I have no job?  Weird.

Have received three calls on my cell today and two calls at my work number. One left a message and it was background noise of maybe a call center. No real messages.

Discover card may not be based out of UT, but they do have a huge call center there.

Odd, I have a discover card, have payments scheduled three months in advance, and the last I knew, Discover is not based out of UT.

I don't have discover credit card. They wouldn't call two or three times EVERY DAY either.

They actually left a message this time... "this not a sales call... call 800-347-4022."

This same person also calls my cell too a few times a day. (I'm in the West Coast, by the way.) I googled the number to see what I could find out and found this page.

Keep calling my cellphone several times a day without leaving a message.

I just got a call from this same number. All they said on the message is "bi***." I don't have a discover card. I won't ever get one now. I randomly get messages for some random person I don't know.

All I'm getting is about 3-4 minutes of static when they leave a message.  Been like that daily for a month.

I have been called multiple times on my cell phone by this number, often 3-4 calls a day in the last week.  Since my phone is just 2 weeks old, and is a "spare" I haven't given that number to a living soul, so it's quite curious how anyone would have my number????  I have always hit "reject call" when the phone rings and shows this number, and the caller has never left a voice message.  Reading posts saying this is DISCOVER CARD is another curiosity to me, since I have never had that credit card in my life (I'm 58 years old!) and I have never applied for that card, either.  I just don't answer that call since I basically object to AT&T's policy of charging ME minutes when someone phones me on my cell.  If they do call back, which they probably will do tomorrow, I plan to play along with them to get as much info as I can.  Shi*heads!!!!

I too have been receiving calls from this number. The one time that I did answer they were asking for a different person. Now they are calling at least 10 times a day. I called back told them that they had the wrong number but they continue to call. By the way it is Discovery

I'm getting calls from this number 801-902-2997 almost everyday at around 10:00 am pst. I called it back and they claim to be from Discovercard. The lady who picked up said they are calling because I have a delinquent account. However, I have only $36.00 balance. She asked for my social security number, which I refused to give, then she asked for my credit card number which I said I didn't have. She then asked if I wanted to get transferred to their customer service number and she said she would connect me or I could have the number. I told her both. She gave me this number 800-347-0326. This is very fishy and I think it's a scam to get your personal information. I called the number on the back of my Discovercard statment and they have no record of my cell phone number on file. Do not give your information to anyone. If a credit card calls, instead of giving your info or calling back, instead call the number on the back of your card or your credit card statement. Otherwise, these other people can go to hell!!!

It's DISCOVER CREDIT CARD.. just call the damn number back and you'll find out who it is without giving any information, dummy!

Started getting calls from this about a week or two ago, 2-3 times a day and in a row. Of course no one leaves a message or answers. No this on Google other than the above post.

calls many times a day...usually don't pick up, but when I do, there is no one there.
