I have received 5 calls from this number in the past 2 hours. I do not understand a single word this idiot is saying. I know its a SCAM & I have blocked this number from my phone. I did research the number & everyone is saying the same thing!! TOTAL SCAM!!!

I am an employee of Anderson Hinkins, LLC, formerly Hinkins Law. We have NOT been making any of these calls to anyone, as we do not conduct business this way. The police have been contacted several times and we are in the middle of an investigation to get these calls to stop. They are a scam and are using our former firm name to intimidate citizens. We will try to get this handled as quickly as we can, as we don't want our name to be associated with this kind of behavior.

They told me I had a warrant for my arrest for not paying a loan with US loans and it will be about 4,000 dollars other than that they will also suspend my license. I never took a loan with US loans after reading all the complaint calls this is siimply a scam. I hope nobody else falls into their game. They identify themself as Hinkin Law office.

this company is harrassing me at work, don't even know who it is

Andy Smith keeps calling work, home, and cell.  Harassing my employer as well.  Real scum bag.  I do not owe any company money.  DO NOT pay them.  It is a SCAM! Call the cops.

I have been receiving calls from this number as well. They keep telling me they are Hinkin law firm and that they are going to subpoena me if I don't pay the loan. I never took out a loan from the firm they mentioned much less have been to Utah (where this law firm is located). This is all a huge scam that is centered in India. (Which makes sense as to why no one can understand them.)

I keep receiving calls from this number at home and on my job. Sometimes they call back to back to back. Harassing me and threatening to call my supervisor and say I will get fired. It's very noisy in the back ground and the guy is foreign and do not pronounce my name correctly. He's very argumentative and tries to threaten me. If I don't answer my phone he leaves messages saying I better call back or legal actions will pursue. This has been every day for the last 3 weeks.

Andy Smith!  More like slum-dog Ahmdi.  I let him go through his pitch without interruption (per his request).  Unbelievable!  I was threatened with jail time, loss of job, etc.  Kind of comical really except that it is annoying as hell.  I don't care how secure a website says it is, it is just not a good idea to put personal information out there.  These guys operate with impunity because they know they can't be touched.  The one thing they have not caught on to yet is the amount.  Always seems to be a nice round number.  Lesson learned.  No more on-line loans.

I have been receiving calls on my home phone and my work cell phone from 1-801-930-7858.  The male claines to be ..Wayne Johnson, an officer and an employee of a law firm.  At 1900hrs on 9-28-12 the male called me a mother f****r because I told him he was a scammer and thatif this was true they would send something in the male.  I had this same person calling about 6 months ago and now he is back.  He called over 8 times today alone.

I am sure glad I found this site.... I was nervous at first but them realized what this really was.  I too called them back and said "can I please speak to "Peter Brown"?  how about "Andy Smith" or "Alex Turner"???  He was getting agitated and kept asking my name LOL  this is fun.  I'm turning the tables on this guy and I think if EVERYONE was to do the same that we could drive him into and HONEST living!!!

I have received 4 calls from this number today asking me what I want them to do. I asked for specific information and they couldn't give me any. I told them I will see what happens and try my luck. And they had the nerve to tell me numerous tikes well you are going to go to jail for 3 months and pay $4000 in court. I told them do what you have to do. And I told "Dave Cooper" that with a name like that I can't understand a word your saying. I finally blocked the number and now they are calling with an unknown/ blocked number so they can keep harassing me and other people.

they have 1 of 4 IP phone numbers I have just for the purpose of exposing scams like this. I am setting up a website dedicated to exposing criminals like this. It will be available in two weeks.

LOL! This is hilarious to me. Not making fun from the problems others are having, but you have to admit that these people are ridiculous. I had applied for a pay day loan information and after told I was not eligible because i did not have a credit rating of 709 I would have to obtain a co-signer on the loan who would be willing to fork over 509 for the first payment. My credit score is excellent and first of all they did not have my SS number so they could have not possibly gotten my credit score. The person was obviously not from this country, his accent was so thick I could barely understand him. After finding out the information I laughed so hard I could barely contain myself. HE then tried to be a tough guy and say he was a law enforcement officer and he would have me arrested. I asked him to cite what law had been broken adn he said you don't pay money back law. I continued to laugh at him because I was not going to give him the satisfaction of hanging up. I pressed him even further and asked the name and address of the Law Firm he represented and the name of his direct Supervisor. He said the Law Firm was Hopkins in Utah. I asked for the phone number and he gave me 801-930-7858. That number is for a cellular or IP based phone. There is no Hopkins Law Firm in Utah. After I said this to them the guy said Mother *ucker and hung up! I called them back again and said I was from NBC news in the United States and wanted to speak with someone in charge because I was doing a investigative report on PayDay scam loans. He then hung up on me again. I waited for 10 minutes because I was laughing so hard and called back again and said I was with CNN and was doing a investigative report on PayDay scam loans. I was cursed out again and hung up on! lol! This went on for 6 more calls until I spoke with a new person who told me I was harassing them and the police would be called. I informed them they could call the police and I would wait on the line until they arrived. Once again I was called Mother *ucker and hung up on! LOL! I havent had a call since then. I would suggest that anyone that gets a call from these people do the exact same thing and block your number when you do and they will stop calling.

This is NOT Hinkins Law Firm in Jordan City, Utah. This is an extortion scam operating out of India. They are spoofing numbers and using the names of legitimate law firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. ABC News did an investigative report on this scam in June:

okay, got another call today. The guys said his name was David Cooper. And the name of the company was Hinkins Law Firm in Jordan City, Utah. I looked them up on the internet

I have received 7 calls from this number in the last 2 days, looking for an employee,  The first 5-6 calls I they couldn't even pronounce the name right.  It sounded like a call center and alot of noise in the background.  They all had accents that sounded from India.  I told the employee who called and could not get through to the number.  They informed me that they had no oustanding bills so it couldn't be a debt collector.  I informed the callers that they could not call the employees work number and that they were now harrassing me.

I received 10 back to back calls from an Alex Turner and Peter Brown from this number and they said there was a warrent for my arrest. I am at work. They said I had a pay day loan with U.S. Cash Loan and they were going to have me arrested for non-payment. I do not have a pay day loan with this company. I told them to stop calling me at work. They asked to speak with my boss. Said they work for Hopkins Law Firm in Utah and would be taking me to court for this unpaid loan. I will never put my information on line again. I can't get them to stop calling me at work. They also call from 569-011-7315 and 213-286-9999. I will contact the better business bureau.

I have been getting calls for all most 2 years from the same guy... He changes his name very time and the number changes ever time I tell him I have reported him to the cops...

Same thing as Bell forgien guy called and wanted me to pay a fast cash, said they had deposited money into my account.  By the way I did not even have the account on the day they said I recieved the loan.  SCAMMER. Same guy Alex.

I received a phone call at work from this same number. His name was Andy Smith. Very rude about asking for a specific person. Very much a foreigner ! He has called everyday this week.

i received a call at work twice from an foreign speaking man stating that he was from the Bureau of Crime Investigation and that legal actions was being taken against me for a payday loan. I have not taken out any payday loan and this man is harassing me. He told me that he needs speak to my boss and for me to have an attorney call him. I have read the reviews from another website about this company and they are SCAMMERS!. the phone number is 801-930-7858.......man's name is Alex Turner
