This is the Local Pages, a phone book company.

I used to work for this company. It is The Local Pages. They call for different reasons, to sell you an ad in the yellow page section of the book, they call to see if you are a business that wants their number in the directory or to see if you want a free phonebook sent out. It is a business that is going down hill from econemy. They are pushy, horrible managment and call people even if they are on the do not call list. Sorry if i ever called and bugged you!

They just called me for the very first time. I decided to look up the number. As I suspected, I made the right choice in not answering.

If you are on the "Do Not Call" registry, and they call you, please report them.  The fine is $11,000 per call for their violation.  The "business" part of the law is only if they have a pre-existing relationship with you - and even then, if you tell them not to call again they can be fined if they continue.

we are on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  They call and no response.

They have called my office over 5 times in the past hour.  If I answer, it is complete silence.  If I don't, it rings one or two times and they hang up. We are also on the DO NOT CALL List.... guess it doesn't matter to them.  With this last call, they called, I answered, no one said anything, and then I hung up. They called back immediately.  I didn't answer.  It rang 3 times, and then they hung up.
I am really starting to get annoyed.  This is a business for crying out loud!

When I answered all I could hear was at least two women/girls giggling and having a conversation and when I said Hello for the second time they hung up.  Very professional.

My phone only rings twice, then they hang up.  Why would they be calling me in Missouri?

Caller said he was from "Directory Services"  "We have this mumber listed as a business, is that correct"  My wife relied " We don't do business over the phone" and hung up

Annoying repeated calls - they hung up - calls even on Sunday!

call from 801-963-1702 claimed they were from "Yuma Yellow Pages" but when they referred to the Yellow Pages, they kept saying "They".
Trying to solicate on Yellow Page listing, $17 per month.
Call came in as 801-963-1702 "Private Name". No private information was given to the caller.

Another morning wake-up call.  I told him we don't have a phone here.
