received call this afternoon on Sept. 26, 2013.   Did not answer call.  If it is Kroger, I will try to call them or store about it.

got a call  801 973 1714 and came up Kroger SLC  on the caller ID Since I was on the computer at the time and have DSL I let the automatic answering get it. No message was left.I thought it was Kroger which bought out Smiths like the Grocery but didn't know what SLC stood for,by coming here I figured out that it stood for Salt Lake City. But I don't know if it was  a survey or not but I wouldn't waste my time on their surveys.

I got a call (twice) from this number 801-973-1714 (as Kroger SLC and as Smith S Food). Surveys!

callled me at 4pm today 2/18/13.  Survey from Smiths Food..........asked them to take me off their call list......will see what happens.  I didn't participate in the survey.  Once you participate they sell your name/number and you keep getting calls every time you turn around

This is just a survey from Smiths Food and Drug about the service you received at your last visit. They grade each dept based on the surveys that are done and look for ways to improve service to their customers.

Smith's brothers*. D. Smith was the president when they sold the company. It's just a survey to keep up with how the customers are being treated. Walmart does their surveys online, you see it on their receipts.

The reason for no explanation is they need 100 primary shoppers and 100 non-primary shoppers if they asked you if you shopped at Smith's and you said no then that means they were done with the non-primary portion and only needed primary shoppers and since you weren't one they didn't need your input. How do I know? I used to work there. They are calling from Smith's Corporate Office in Salt Lake City their area code is 801.

This phone number is a Smith's Food and Drug Corporate office number. The department is within the  Smith's corporate office and the people calling are Smith's employees. It is a consumer research department that does surveys on their various stores. Some people don't like to answer these because they think it may be bias being that it isn't an independent company conducting the interview. If you ask them who they are with they will tell you a consumer research department and rent office space from Smith's which of course is a lie. How do I know? I used to work for them.

There are Kroger grocery stores in Utah.  They are called Smith's.

I called them back and it is Smith's/Kroger. They are also located in Utah. I filled out a survey a few months ago and maybe they are following up.

Received call on my answering machine from Jonathan from the Prize Distribution Center for the Grand Sweepstakes Givaway for a Lincoln Navigator. The contest has ended and he has good news for me. I just need to call him back at 800-393-1518.

No one was on the otheer end of the phone when it rang.

I got a call from this number yesterday and today.  They don't leave messages.

I missed a call from this number earlier in the day. Did a little research on the area code etc and found out that the number belongs to a Sherrie Stan in Salt Lake City, UT. I answered the second call, which was someone claiming to be with the Kroger Co doing a follow up interview. I asked him why he was calling from a Utah area code (Kroger is headquartered in Cincinnati) and he hung up on me. This is obviously a spoofed number because I get a voicemail for Sherrie when I call this number.

Same Same... Called today and yesterday.  I just don't answer strange calls from 801 that I don't know who they are and no voice mail is being left.

Called and Asked if I shop at Smiths Grocery in LOGAN, UT. I used to over a year ago. I said No & that I used to. THey said ok and hung up with no explanation. But the weird thing is Logan UT Area Code is 435 not 801.

Same here been getting this Phone Number 801-973-1714 showing up on my caller Id as: SMITHS FOOD AND DRUG. It gets disconnected when I answer and when I do call back there's a lady's voice on a voicemail: "Hi! This is Sherrie Stan I can come to phone right now............" (this voicemail box cannot take any messages because it is full) *beep*

They have called me the same time everyday in the last few days. But I didn't answer cause some of those  charges cost money if answered.
