Another call Oct 12, 2012.

All call centers that use outbound-only lines will give a disconnected number recording when you call back.  That is how their phone lines are set up.  
801-984-???? use to be specific to Midvale, UT.  However, with the new number portability laws it could actually be coming from anywhere.

Calls and ahsngs up ehwn I answer thre or four times

# has called me three times since yesterday on my cell.  no message left.
i have not called the number back.  i'm in florida.

it is a trendwest number... you go in and listen to a 90 minute presentation where they want you to buy into a timeshare, then they give you a 3 day vacation, that you leave later one night and return earlier on the 3rd day... so really it is a one day vacation... not worth it. They call me every year...

I have received calls from them as well, and when I called it back it was disconnected, yet they are still able to call?  
I wonder if I filled out a fake job application on line or something  (something to do w/my current job hunt???)  I dont know, just be carefull, it sounds really fishy.

After answering and stating I am the person they asked to call, man said he was from Wyndem something.  I said I don't want anything and then he said as a hook, "Well, you won something."  Sure.  I don't want anything is my reply and hung up. If you really did win something you would be contacted and the person would leave a number,name, etc.  AND you wouldn't have to pay for anything - even your time, gas, etc.

this is so annoying this number has been calling for weeks they laugh and hang up. im gonna report the phone number to police and give them the info i got from a reverse directory.

keep calling me every day but I don't answer the so they can waist their money, minutes and time!!!  :)

A man and a woman have both called from this number and I asked who was calling and they just stayed on the line, I could hear them breathing but they said nothing.  Kinda creepy. Called the number back and it said it was disconnected!

I just set my call routing preferences on my phone system to reroute all those calls directly to the IRS collections department. I will look at my log and see if they stop calling in.

I keep getting calls from this number, and they hang up everytime I answer. I too tried to call them back and was told the number was disconnected.

Our Caller ID identifies this number as being from Midvale, UT.  In the most recent event the caller hung up on me, mid-response.  I’ve come to realize that this number is programmed to be the response to caller ID in several calling systems.  The callers have been selling Medicare Supplements, vacation scams, and a few other nuisance calls…   I’ll guess that they are all different outfits, or a bank of ‘telemarketers’ who are trying to subvert the ‘do not call’ lists…

I’ve temporarily solved the problem by blocking the number at my telephone ( a cool feature of some newer 6.0 GHz phones).  It will take a more serious effort to find the callers. (i.e. involving law enforcement)

Has been calling me and for the past 5 days and hanging up when I pick up. I called back and it says it is disconnected. So annoying!

call me every day, 4.30 and 5.30 which is not that when I answer the phone call to hang back and informs me that this service disconnected for who has an answer

I too got a call from this number on my cell. I called it back and it said was disconnected.

Well they aren't out of business they are still calling. They are from Salt Lake City Utah. Didn't identify themselves so I told them the truth my daughter don't live here.

They said I won a prize. Asked for my hubby by name. Said the prize was a vacation plus other stuff. Forgot name of company. Long name. They said we clicked on their ad online and that a lot of people do that. Sounds bogus to me.

A person at this number called my nephew at 4:14 P.M. on 02/19/09. My nephew is 13 years old and they claimed that he had filled out something online and this woman who I spoke with was really rude.

I just got a call from this number and they asked to talk to me then hung up when I got on the phone
