called 3 times today, did not answer, did not leave message. I changed phone answering machine to say you have reached, J--- & T---, leave a message, did not let them know our phone # to confirm anything, so they can't sell the # as a viable number. If you don't answer after awhile, they drop your phone number.

Federal Financial scammers have a new number that they are calling from.  Earlier today it was 801-990-8571.  Now they are also using 801-990-8568.  Usual routine about how our phone number was selected (congratulations!) and we will get a scratch off card, yada yada yada.  I muffled my voice and said "Oh that sounds very exciting." and she hung up.

This is yet another "work from home" victim with an auto-dialer. They get paid for the number of phone call pickups. No pickup, no pay. Depends on one's point of view. Me? If I don't recognize the area code or phone #, I don't pick up.
