This is a JetBlue number general number. I received a call from the Baggage Claim department since they LOST my luggage.

Ok, so I just got a call, didn't answer, no message and I had a flight with Jet Blue two days ago . . . ?

I had received a call from 801 993-8000 three times a day , seven days a week for the past three or four weeks.  The calls came in at 9:01, 1:04 and 5:03 on a daily basis, with no response when I answered.  Out of frustration, I called 801 993-8001 and was able to leave a message.  I asked if this was related to the 8000 number and told them to please stop the calls.  They stopped two days later!!!!

This number is Jetblue Airways. They have an automated service that kicks in when your flight details change. They are simply informing you of the change. All you have to do to make these calls stop is take the call and acknowledge the change.

Well you helped me as I called it but for the life of me when I saw it on my bill I wondered who it was I supposedly called.  It was Jet Blue with a flight change.  I won't forget the next time.  :)

wow, so JetBlue has had a malfunctioning calling robot for over a year, with multiple people complaining about it, and it still does the same thing? jees. thanks JetBlue.

a lot of call systems require a trigger that the line has been answered to signal to a live attendant that a connection has been made or trigger a pre-recorded or robotic message. sounds like that trigger is not being recognized. i have had, oh... maybe 8 of these calls in the last month, with silence every time. i have a cell phone with at&t - maybe it doesn't work as well with cell phones/at&t?

It is Jet blue calling to inform you that the flight has been cancelled

Received missed call from this number.  A Jet Blue rep left a message on my voice mail regarding a problem with my reservation, which was legitimate.  I called Jet Blue's 1-800 number directly.

Yes it is Jet Blue calling about cancellations/flight changes.  You should absolutely call back because they moved my original flight without telling me to another flight that I can't take.  I had to call and change everything.  They were very helpful

this missed call showed up as Name Unknown on my phone, but after going through this web site I checked and my JB flight has been canceled due to weather (grrrr)  JB confirmed this was their number, but did not know why the Caller ID failed or why it left no voice mail.

Several calls last night but when answered,  nothing but background noise.  My JB flight was cancelled last night so I safely assume this was their automated system pooching again.

Yes, confirmed this is JetBlue.  My flight was cancelled coming out of Boston to Las Vegas and connecting in NYC where there was a bad storm.  JetBlue could not get me out until Wed, so I did get stuck.

I got a call on my cell phone from this number, but they didn't leave a voicemail or anything.  Gee, I hope my flight's not canceled!

This is certainly a Jet Blue number.  I received a call and it was Jet Blue calling me back about an issue i logged.

Their IT team is horrible- the servers are all down any time there is inclement weather- when you need it the most!!

I've gotten 5 calls now in the last 24 hours from this number, so no resolution yet.

Got a call from this number yesterday afternoon.  Answered the phone and got no one.  Like everyone else, I googled the number and here I am.

wow, this is a great Web site. I just got SEVEN missed calls from this number. I'm glad i googled it! I flew Jet Blue YESTERDAY, though. Weird.

I was called 5 times with silence on the other line.  Called Jetblue to get removed from the automated system and complained to a manager.  This was the result of a flight that was cancelled 7 hours before scheduled flight time.

i'm getting these calls too, and since jetblue keeps canceling my flights and i'm stuck in the bahamas with Tropical Storm Noel, this all is beginning to make sense.

Just got a silent call from them... no speech even after several minutes of waiting.  But, I AM booked on a JetBlue flight in about 2 weeks, so this board's theory adds up.  I'll go check my itinerary.

Confirm that this was probably Jetblue.  Went online and saw that upcoming flight had been rescheduled by 2 hours.

I just got one of these silent calls, so it's still going on as of today.

I talked to a supervisor there this morning who said she will escalate resolution of this and personally call "Kate" who supervises the group that can fix it. Hopefully it will happen.

It isn't resolved. I am getting a LOT of these calls at my office that hang up after I answer, wasting my time. VERY ANNOYING and I like Jet Blue, but this $#%@! has to stop.....
