In my case, the Caller ID showed Newfane, VT. The call came in at 12:47 PM on 03/08/14. We didn't answer, and there was no voice mail message.

They just called here (on a Sunday) trying to get donations for the veterans Admin..when my husband said that we all ready give, he said well there is other organizations..After my husband called, I called him back and he answered "hello" and I said please take us off of your calling list, we are signed up w. the DO NOT CALL registry..and he said that he will put me on the do not call list.,,for his company....I am getting numerous of calls lately..the caller i.d will identify a TOWN in Vermont, so the person answering the phone will think its a familiar call, or someone they know..I have stopped answering these calls. They don't leave a message on voice mail. & when you call them back you will get a recording that the office is closed and will be open m-f 9-5 (but they never answer the call even if the day and time is when they are open)
