Someone called you with the name tammy jone? Someone has been scamming my ex bf and she goes by the name tammy jone.

How do you get these people to stop calling? They are calling my work and I have no idea what it is for! GRRRR! And what is the company? I called them back but I can't get a straight answer!

I JUST GOT COUPLE OF CALLS IN MY CELL FROM A LEGAL COMPANY THAT IS I DON'T CALL THEM BACK THEY WILL TAKE LEGAL MATTERS AGAINST ME, THEY ALSO CALL MY WORK.

I too are receiving calls from that number and that they will send the sheriff to arrest me. I called the Attorney Generals office and can hardly fill the form out as they only tell me that they are a law office of Oberkeller Law offices. All calls are from middle eastern people.

I have been receiving these calls for about a week now.  I just returned a call to a Lisa Brown, but some other woman "helped" me.  Saying that they were coming to arrest my husband.  Told her whatever communications she had with him, that she could mail me the paper.  She started getting really defensive, and I told her that I knew she was a scam and then she hung up on me.  The number was 802-365-1701 to call back on but on my caller id, it was 865-6692.  No company or business name was given.  Usually it's a Frank or John, but this time it was a woman Lisa Brown and another woman answered the phone!

I?ve received repeated calls from 802-365-1701 ? at least that is what shows up on the caller I.D.  They have a lot of noise in the background (trying to make it sound like a legitimate call center) and then ask for someone.  They then say they are going to transfer a call to you and start pressing numbers to generate tones - an old Phreaking trick to try and break into the phone system.  As soon as they start pressing numbers HANG UP, just in case they have a back-door code.

Same old story day #2.  Several calls from a thickly accented man that says I will be hauled off to jail if I do not pay them money.  I reported them to the attorney general of Vt, where the calls are coming from, and now I will notify the FBI.

This number continues calling me and saying I owe money which is not true they called me this morning at 8'43 and said if I didn't call back they'd attempt farther action.

This Number is still calling me and claiming I am being investigated for some money I owe which is totally false I do not owe anything they caled this morning at 8:43 basically ordering me to call back or their would r farther action if I didn't.

I have recieved the same call from the legal office.  I was told that I owe some money and that I will need to report to my local court house for the charges.  If you ask a lot of questions they will get upset and hangup.  If you question them a little further, you will find out that they are trying to get you to send them money Western Union for some unpaid loan. If you ever applied for a loan or payday loan on the internet, this is where they are getting some of the information.  I also went through this two years ago and was advised by my work place that it was a scam. Eventually they stopped calling but after two years it has started again. Do not give them any information.  You cannot be arrested for an unpaid debt.

This number calls my work atleast three times a month. They say that they are from attorney office. They say that I owe money but will not give me company names or information or account numbers. Depending on the day who the caller is. Most times it is a guys name sometimes it is a girl. They are very hard to understand and tell me they have tried to contact me by letter but I never respond. Well duh I cant respond when I have received nothing. They are must a bunch of scammers trying to scare people into giving them their information.

They are frauds they get smart and snarky if you say you know they aren't a real company.  They tell you they want to see you do it.

This is s BUNCH of SCAMM.

They call me ten times a day,  I dont answer 800 numbers. They leave a message that there is a lawsuit against me  and my social security number is being investigated and if I want to know why call them back. If I don't I will face legal ramifications. You can barely understand them. I started worring, I couldn't think of what I did  wrong. I feel more at ease after reading your messages.

They have valuable info on me, but hardly gave info or $ amount for company they r collecting for. Scary!

All our phone numbers are registered to the National Do Not Call Registry. I just filed a complaint. They called at 6:21 am this morning. and then called back 10 minutes later. And they don't even speak Clear english

These scammers are calling from Newfane Vermont. Population is 118,it's a landline with Bandwidth.com CLEC LLC-VT. They're in Windham County. The zip is 05345. The last time these "people" tried to scam me, they were calling from another small town in Windham County. I actually called their carrier at that time and told them what these people were doing. The calls stopped soon after that. Of course it was a different number.I made a police report just in case anything happened and gave the detective their location, the county,zip,and even the population of the village. I also told them that I had called the carrier and the detective started laughing.He told me that it was a scam but at least I had the report number. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION.Tell your employers that they are trying to scam you so that hopefully you won't lose your jobs.I just tell them to send any information to the address on file and leave it at that.Nothing further needs to be said. Another of  the carriers is VOIP. They can't take you to court or send you to jail or anything else they threaten you with.

These people are scammers.Make a police report so that in case anything happens you'll have documentation.They use a number out of Vermont and the carrier is usually Vonage.These people have tried to scam me before and I take the time now to do a reverse phone lookup and find out where they're calling from.If you talk to them again do not give out any kind of information.Just tell them that you want verification sent to you at the address on file and they are not going to get anything.If they try to threaten you,just hang up.Let them know at work what's going on so that you don't get into trouble.Don't freak out and try to stay calm.

They keep calling me telling me I'm going to jail that the local sheriffs office will be here to pick me up tomorrow I'm tired of this

these people have been calling me from different numbers for several months now.  I finally answered today and was told that if I did not fax them my SSN, and copy of my D.L.with an intent to pay $942 by Friday in 20 minutes they would send my case to the court house and I would be arrested and put in jail for 18 months and 15 days and owe $12,000.  They were unable to give me account numbers, or any dates of attempted notification in writing.They just stated that they sent me 3 emails and 1 letter. but no dates as to when these were sent - I never recieved them

As others before me have stated I have been receiving several calls and messages stating im being investigated. I attempted to ask questions and was told I would be transferred to the senior lawyer. Several ofy co workers have been contacted in the same manner. I forwarded the number and registered a complaint with bbb.

They call me all the time (home and work).  How do you get them to stop calling?  Is there someone to report them to?  I don't have any outstanding loans that I am not already paying on - this is badgering and should be illegal.

They are calling my place of employment. When I call them back they don't answer or if the do answer there is so much noise in the back ground you cannot understand them. They hang up on me when I start asking questions.

I just forwarded the voice mail on to the local authorities and they stated that unless they show you some proof of the debt, don't worry about it.  They can't just come and take you off to jail...Just a FYI

I too have gotten calls from this number stating that I better get a lawyer and am looking at going to Jail.  I listened to him for a bit (which I could barely understand him) and hung up.  He then called and left a 3 minute voice mail advising me to get a lawyer and that I am looking at going to jail.  For what?  I do not know - this same number has called my inlaws and my father.  Scared my mother in law as he told her she would be going to jail as well!  Send me proof is all any of us has said and response was - she better have a good lawyer....

I Juss received a phone call stating that the sheriff will be picking me up 2morrow ! I will have to do 15months and 22 days in jail !!!! I have a 80,000 law suit against me ! Why didn't I pay back those loans , mind you I never took out a loan ! I don't even have a bank account ! What the hell is going on ??

That was the first call I got then I just stopped answering them

they will not stop calling.  I don't answer so they call back in 5 minutes with a different number.

Someone keeps calling my cell number saying I owe them money for some cash advance and they will take me to jail if I don't pay. some sheriff in a law office. They are calling my work place also. I asked them to send me or email information that will show that I owe them money but nothing came.
