I started receiving calls from these same numbers on Monday of this week. I get the same messages as you have stated. I called them yesterday to find out what company they were. The lady said it was BAA Associates. She asked for a file #. I gave her it but when i refused to verify any other information she said she couldn't look up anything else without it. I told her I didn't know this company or what it was about. She could only say there was fraud charges being brought against me and since I refused to verify or confirm anything besides my name I would be summoned to court. I said I will deal with that when it comes.  Since then they have continued to call me daily at my home, my work, and some of my relatives.  I am tired of these people and they need to find an honest job like most people in this country!!!!!!

If u are weary n not sure that this is a scam just check ur credit report. I did and I don't have any loans out expect auto.

I keep getting the same thing. I know it is a scam, but still makes me nervous. I was taken to the cleaners a few years ago by scammers.  this is crazy.

do not answer these calls turn them over to the state attorney general to handle. call the attorney general in VT, OR, NV to complain. SCAM ARTIST. BBB says it is a scam and to report it. This is the only way to get these leaches to stop.

keep getting calls on my cell and work number.  Now they are calling my coworkers.  Stating that I owe a loan and I will be served.  Other times that there is fraud activity being done on my social security number.

I also started receiving calls from the 971-404-3189 and today 802-428-4517 number at my work saying the same crap. I wont give them any info.  This is a total scam!!!!

They have called me from 802-428-4517 and 971-404-3189 and when I had called the 971 number back a women called me back with a Minnesota number. Claimed I'm having a civil complaint charge against me that I owe 700$ but if I pay now it'll only be 500$ they will drop the 200$ fee they had everything of mine, last four digits of my account number last four of SSN my address my email Scary! But I know for a fact I don't have a loan out Bc I have never taken a loan out. And so I said I'm getting my bank statements and the women said those wont hold up in court I said yes they will if I never got it deposited into my account. She said ok see u in court I said yupp hung up 4hrs later get a call from 802 number same women I recognize her voice. -_- be careful!!!!! They are tricky! But it's a scam!

They called me with the same number. The guy said his name was Frank Austin and that he was from Goldman & associates. I asked him what was the business address and he refused. What a scam!

802-428-4517  and 206-430-5417 these are scam numbers. do not give them any money

I also receive calls at my work on a daily basis with a threatening/harassing message telling me to call the following numbers: 802-428-4517, 206-430-5417.  They then tell me they are going to come to my Human Resources department with a court summons if I don't call them back.  They also give me a claim number. I know they are full of crap and refuse to pay them a dime until they provide me with a verification of debt and solid proof that I owe the amount of money they claim I owe. This company refuses to do that and continue to make threats on a daily basis.  I would love to know the true name of this company so I can send them a Cease and Desist letter. Please if anyone has information on the company that is making these calls PASS IT ON!

Scam people just do not quit.  They say I owe them, but I know that I do not.  This is their new number, but they have used other.

Ok..now they are call me with the following numbers:  206-430-5417, 206-430-5375 and now an new one 802-428-4517.  They never quit.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING..
