Got a call from this number, no message

Did not answer call from unknown caller.  All my CID said was INCOMING CALL and showed the # 802-583-4395.

rec call from this number yesterday on my work cell which is with AT&T. I googled the number and came to this site.  Now I'm pissed after reading the comments.  Is there anything that can be done--REALLY DONE???

I just got this call a minute ago so I googled the #. Here was the first thing that came up:

802-583-4395 is a telemarketing scam aimed at cell phones. This is illegal on a couple of levels. Can't the authorities track and shut down this nonsense?

This number called, I didn't pick up.  What an idiot these scam artists are.

got a call on my cell and when I called back right away, the message was that the phone was no longer in service.


and btw...thanks for this service....it removes the nagging thought that I missed an important call and that there is something wrong with my phone....

I got a call on my cell from this number and i tried to call it back and it was a busy signal every time i tried to call it

yeah i got a call from this number too today, didnt answer because i was busy at the time...but later i called it and it said this number was disconnected...then i call again because i thought my phone was not dialing the area code and it just sounded busy...i went to the white pages online and it comes out to be under the name Kevin O Maley somewhere in Vermont...idk....its annoying!!! idk how he/they got my number am guess is from trying to get a quote from car insurance places online...but i didnt have this number when i was lookin for a quote is a lil suspiciouse!

This person needs to be put in jail.

Let's report this to the FBI immediately.

I Googled the number and it appears to belong to Kevin Omaley in Snowside Waitsfield, Vermont 05673

I got a missed call from this number too and decided to google it to be sure.

Number just called my cell & didn't leave a voicemail. Googled the number & said it was a Kevin Omaley in Snowside, Waitsfield, VT 05673.

2nd notice for extended warranty.  They call my cell phone from this number and others everyday.

I've recieved calls from this number several times.  I'm glad I Googled it.  Now I definitely know not to waste the minute answering.

These guys are a**holes...there is another phone number from Oregon.  I just asked to speak to representative (bc I was bored at work) and just chatted....quite funny...anyways these guys are so retarded thinking i was actually interested in their "services"  anyways one femail operator sent me to a service rep and he talked to his manager (i think it was still him...sounded like him anyways...) and i talked to him....i even got "employee" pricing....but i decline....haha....gave them a fake name/address too...i encourage you all to waste their time if you can...it is funny

Got a call from this number and I believe it comes from the outfits like Reverse Phone Number, or Find Out Who Called, kind of outfits which want you to pay for a search.  It's a scam.

Called my cell phone and I didn't answer it.  No message.

He is a guy working out of his home scamming people. uses auto dialer. some crap about waranty. works under the name of some insurance company.

do it over and over. It will tie up his lines and waste his time. check on the internet many people have stayed on and got that number. so just do the same he does to you. people reported him to the fbi and they say no crime was done so the hands are tied.

I got a call from this number a while back, but did not answer it. Looking at the comments above, this scam is connected with another number as well, (540)350-4194. Both are trying to do the same thing.

look at Warranty America's webpage.  They like to catch these people too and they offer to reimburse you if you buy a contract from them and you give them all documents.

His call back number is (877) 474-0321 and his name is full name is Brandon Tumber. I asked him to email me some information, which he did. The email came from a Michael Schleeper mschleeper@credit-control.com. Their website is credit-control.com.

Ahahaha Brandon is not enjoying my calls. I just keep redailing and leave the phone on the table while I play on the internet, I listened to the first couple and he is definitely getting pissed off. Perhaps I'll play him some music to soothe his nerves after a long day of scamming

This number called my cell phone, not home phone, but cell phone like 5 seconds ago. I googled it and see if it was a cell or home phone, but looks like a company according to some of you people. I didn't answered it cause I don't answer numbers I never seen before, but I called that number back and I got a busy signal.

Got a call from this number just now but didn't recognize the number... didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. Googled it and ended up here. Saved the number in my phone with "Bogus-Don't Answer" name. It's like spam email for your phone. The thing I would like to know... I called the number back (several weeks ago when it first happened) right after the call and a recording came on saying that number was disconnected. How's that happen????
