Missed the call on my cell phone.  Voicemail was of a woman speaking in Spanish.   There is no listing in reverse phone lookup, but area code is Vermont.  Must be some type of scam.

Someone is stalking me! Its a call from Vermont and its creepy! This person called me and my mom and spoke in a foreign language! How creepy is that! AHHHHHHHH!

This number is probably a fake number. Theres a way of showing a fake number when they call u so if u call back then its not the real number probably.....thats wat the lady at verizon said.

This call came in on my cell phone, with a Spanish recording after a short delay.

Also rec'd a call moments ago (on my cell) did NOT answer.. no message was left...

Recording of Spanish lady calling every 3-5 minutes and tying up our business phone lines.  Has anyone figured out a way to block the call????

Same thing here.  Vermont area code, spanish recording. Made out the word "dinero" so I'm assuming it's trying to scam money.

Today, April 6/09  during the noon hour, Pacific daylight time my cell phone displayed a call from 802-796-8589 - I did not answer

Very few people have my cell phone number. The last person I gave it to was a real estate agent from PRUDENTIAL Sussex REALTY, in the Vancouver area of British Columbia, Canada.

In early march my cell phone showed a call from the local Prudential Realty office. I did not answer. I don't have voice mail, and did not call back.

Two days later I my phone displayed a call from 888-111-1110, apparently another phone solicitation number or way of disguising callers.

I'm wondering now if Prudential had suddenly decided to put my cell number perhaps into their national or international data base (and when their office number called my cell in March, that they were confirming the number then entering) which either someone is selling or which is being hacked on-line somehow.
Near the end of March/09 my cell displayed a call from an "unidentified number" . I previously have had no problems with solicitation calls or the like.

I'm going to contact the local Prudential office to see if they had entered my cell number into a data base at some point recently.

I just got a call from this number and it was an automated message saying i wont some contest for "bell" customers. I didn't press 1 to speak to a rep since Ive heard stories of insane phone bills from these kinds of numbers.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. An English-speaking male strated with "Congratulations! This offer is only available to"... and while I was hanging up he went on to say something like either Bell or Rogers.

Supplement to the above:
only one person except me knows my cell number, so it must be Virgin Mobile itself - or its starving employee - who sold my # to the spammers.

Received today on my Virgin cel in Alberta. Didn't pick up.

I received a call from 802 796 8589 yesterday @ my Virgin mobile cell. I live in Alberta.
Didn't pick up because I don't know that number. They didn't leave any msg.

Nashville, TN 615 area code. My wife got this call on her personal cell phone but did not answer.  These goobs are dialing through the area code as we also got it on work cell phones and work land lines.

Received call on my Vancouver BC cell phone.  Someting about won a prize press 1 etc.

This number (802-796-8589) called and didn't leave a message, and this was to a brand new unlisted number. I tried calling it back twice and got a busy signal both times.

Got a call from 802-796-8589. Didn't answer. Through Rogers, but why the hell do these people get our numbers. I transferred my phone number from Bell and this never happened. Although I am not endorsing them either. I think it is crap.

Received call on my cell phone but didn't pick up.  There was no message left.  I made big mistake registering my number with Canada's DO NOT CALL LIST.  Since then I have been getting all kinds of strange calls.
