This number called my cell multiple times.  I reported it to National do not call site more than once, but they still keep calling.  I don't know how to stop that.  How can they voilate the ferderal law like that and no one can stop them?

this number keeps on calling my son's cell phone when he is in school, he is in 4th grade and don't speak a word of spanish

how do you get rid of these spam calls?

so......I'm not sure but I would lke to believe that anyone that recieved the call or txt could call your local prosecuting att. and Persistantly/constantly demand that it be investigated....They will but you have to be persistant...I would asume that if it is a scam....They should beable to find the originating point of these calls and txt.....When they do...the ppl involved will be charged..I do however, also believe that there wont be any restitution or free ipads because.unless you DID lose something whether it be money or whatever; then the crooks only Attempted to cheat you and you would be nothing more than a witness that wasted your time and efforts that at the end of the day still can only dream of owning one those awsome and  unaffordable devices. one more thing....the txt seem to be from similar 4 didget numbers that metropcs uses to remind you of a bill.. if infact the txt did come from a metro number..scam or not metro would probably be legally responsible to provide them. hope I could help.

An automated service in Spanish called me and then they hung up!! My cell no# is fairly new and I dnt hve a Craig list account!! Sounds like a scam artist!!

I got the same phone call this afternoon and thankfully, didn't answer it in time...Thank you all for posting this online - it is helpful to see that I should not bother to call back!!

Got the call, answered it, all in spanish, no idea what it said...Lame.

I just got a call fro this number and have never posted an ad for Craig's List. Strange, they left an 8 second message of silence.

This is NOT about Craigs list, so please stop posting that!

Some other vendor you use probably sold your information or in my case I just posted my number on the internet because it is my business number, so spam bots probably picked it up or Facebook sold it because that's where I posted it.

If you are on the "do no call registry" go report it there!  I would not chnage my number: they only try you a couple of times in a row and then hang up and move on...you can't block them because the number is not valid...They call form one number but are able to list a fake number on your caller ID.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone and i don't know who they are and they keep calling.

Contact your local police / authorities for fraud.  These people have no business gettting your number.  Either case reply text went through successfully.  They will rue this day when they called my number listed in federal banks.

Recieved the call and recognized the Vermont area code.  Did not pick up although I have family in Vermont I did not recognize the number...   Called the number back and the it says "Sorry, but your call cannot be completed".

It's a message in Spanish. What they're saying is , you've won a prize and to collect it press a certain number on your phone. then they will ask for all your personal info. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO. THIS IS A SCAM.

I got a call from this number yesterday, as well as a couple months back. I didn't pick up because I didn't know the number. After reading all of the comments here, I'm glad I didn't pick up and waste my time listening to a scam.

I just got a call from this number on my T-mobile cell phone. I did not answer because I was on another call.  They did not leave a message.  I have used Craig's list but I don't think I gave out this number.

Just got this call... I'm not sure what it was all about. Some automated lady speaking Spanish. Probably a scam. I regret picking up.

I'm not a VM customer, but this call came in today (8/25/11).  I didn't answer, they left no message, so I blocked it.  The area code is apparently from Vermont...

This is a scam I tried to call back the number and am getting an auto response that the number is no longer in service.

I didn't know the # so I didnt answer i told my dad and he called it back and said  that it said the # was disconnected.........

I knew the one I got was in Spanish because I could pick out some spanish words in the recording...only about the few words I remember from Spanish Class in school...LOL
