Got a call from this number today they did not speak or leave a message ;. Came up as Amcol on my caller id

This number called and asked me to verify my birthday. when I asked who they were, he said the name Amcol and when I said what company is this. He said, you refuse to verify good day and hung up! lol

Just called my work number.  I had to say hello several times because anyone talked.  Asked to speak with me, said I was me.  Then rattled off my PO Box really fast and wanted me to verify it.  I said I am not verifying anyting until I know what this is about. She said it was about a personal business matter.  I told her to then call me on my personal phone because I do not take personal calls at work and hung up.  I have no idea why they are calling me.

This number keeps calling my number, but is not looking for me.  They refuse to remove my number from their list.

Wld like to kn who and why this number is calling me.

Aamco or something like that...collection agency for a hospital.  they call constantly and they always ask me to verify my birthdate.  I tell them I don't give my birthday to strangers...a guy called today and was talking so fast I couldn't understand what he was saying and I told him so, and he hung up on me.

Thankfully, on my phone you can block numbers.

We receive several calls a day from this company. i researced it to see who it was and found out that it is a collection agency for a hospital bill. I have great insurance and thought maybe i missed a bill. I checked my folder i keep with copies of all medical bills i have received. Every bill i have received has either been paid or i am paying. I then checked my credit report and i am in collections. I was never billed by the hospital for the charges therefore i am not paying a collection agency. If the hospital wants to bill me i will pay it.
i disputed my credit report because i was never billed and when i do get calls from this number they never leave any messages. and i have never recieved anything in the mail in a form of a bill or a letter.
it will sit on my report until it is removed or until the dr/hospital does their job and bills me.

Diannes right. answering & responding only makes it worse. they use to call all the time & my hubby would accidentaly answer a couple times until i explained to him just DONT answer any number, i would google it. I havent check my voicemail in almost two years, i leave it full, never answer & now they only call once in a while .. not every friggin day at all hours!

I get at least 2-3 calls a day from them. Very annoying, especially during my work hours.

received call from this company on my emergency contact's phone. the person was rude and persistently asking me if this is my number and if my address is _______. I kept asking who she was and she stupidly continued to ask me personal info without answering me except to say the name of the company is AMCO SYSTEMS. I asked the nature of the call several times and she ignored me desperately trying to verify my personal info... I googled the name and phone # and got this site....

Just put your phone number on call-forward to Dial-A-Prayer!   Eventually they stop calling. If they keep sending you bills in the mail, just write "deceased" on them and put them back in the mailbox.
Obviously, I'm joking.....hehe. When I see the number appear on my phone, I hangup. They call about 3 times a week, but I never answer it.

I keep getting calls from them about a bill but until the Doctor do his job I am sorry I am not going to pay the bill and if they call me again I will make sure they talk to my laywer. Thank you and God bless

I am debt free and get these calls but do not answer as I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO TALK TO IDIOTS.

Told me a. Hosp bill which I paid long ago, and
Called the hosp, which verified I paid!
I don't need the aggrivation, wish it would stop.
So why pay if the calls come anyway?

I work for a bank and this company is a scam! They try to get u to send money so they can hack your account. Seen it multiple times at the bank. There is a company under that names thats real but the number calling you the 803 one is a scam artist. If u gave any account info please check your accounts and local bank. Please dont fall into the trap

This is AMCOL....they are a collection agency for Mercy Medical..

I am just telling you what I have read about debts.....Once you have one and it goes unpaid (to collections) they have a certain time to collect the money... Once you respond or make a payment that debt gets refreshed and the timeline gets extended....If you make a payment, not in full, or agree to a modified amount...they can re-collect the full amount , or re-sue you for the full amount even after you've paid the modified amout...be cause you responded again to the debt.. Now this is only what I have researched and read..FYI :)

I get calls 3-4 times a day starting at 6 AM! It annoying because I am handicap and wheelchair bound. By the time I get into my chair and reach the phone it's dead air or they've hung up! I'd really like to get the call so I can chew out the jerk calling! I live DEBIT FREE so if it's a collection agency they are barking up the wrong tree!

i get calls from this number all day, everyday! ive attempted to answer the phone a few times, but it was just dead-air... not even a recording asking me to HOLD! so i hang up each time. i started just letting it ring, hoping to get a voicemail, but it turns out that they dont even let it ring that long. it rings about 3 times then they hang up. i'm so aggravated. they call at the worst times too.

They are a collection agency. Arcol (?)  I think is the name.  Relentless morons with misinformation and dialing capabilities.

A person called me form this phone number lying saying my husband and I gave them my phone number. That can not be true, the contact phone has been off since April and I have nothing from South Carolina. I don't know what husband they are talking about.

did u know that if any company and or a person calls you more then 3 times in a 24 hour time peroid it is herasment acordeing to the FCC,,,yes i do know that my spelling is off

This number calls all the time and yes---it is a collection agency---Sending payments to them but they still call.  They definitely call more than 3 times in a 24 hour period.  When you call them back you also get a recording and the stupid - please wait - your call is very important to us.  Very aggravating.
