I received a call today from this number. For the past week I get at least 8-10 calls a day. Usually they are from a "private caller". No messages. When I have answered, I get hung up on. They have called as late as 9pm. This is ridiculous! I want this to stop!!!

Called and asked for my info and my son's birthday; claimed they needed to talk to me because he was a minor, but wouldn't tell me why.  I refused to give information to some unknown caller, and they would only give me this info:

Fishy business, to say the least.

I spoke to a rep from these guys today. They 1st wanted me to verify my information, which I refused. I asked what this was in reference to and they stated a 'business opportunity', doesn't sound like debt collectors but rather stammers.

AMCOL Systems continue to call my cell phone on a regular basis.  No one is on the line when I answer most of the time.  On the 1 occassion they were on the line, they wanted someone that is not me for debt collections.  I asked them to remove my number that I am not this person... At what point is this considered harrassment?  Enough is enough I want them to leave me alone... I pay my bills and do not like to be burdend night and day for someone I don't know that obviously never paid a bill in her life.....

There is a program on if you have a Android phone called call control, it will block them. If they cant leave a message they get blocked and if I don't get an actual person they get blocked.

Oh now, you are really pathetic! Here you are spamming a site where people take great pains to expose fraudulent practices & you come here to try and get some free advertising! If that's not a sign of sheer desperation I don't know what would be!

By chance does any one getting these calls have an out standing arrest warrent or have you been to jail lately?

Have had two call from this # and don't know why are who it is

When I answered an automated voice asked me to hold on for the next available rep. Bull. If you want to talk, be on the phone when I answer it.

Received calls from 803-217-3811, 803-217-3809, 803-217-3817 and I'm sure there will be more.  Found out it s AMCOL SYSTEMS - a collection service for hospital and medical bills out of Columbia, SC but service all over.  My mother died in 2009 and they want to talk to her or her deceased spouse - told them good luck and if they do - tell them hello for me.   Finally got them to answer yes and no to MY questions and it is for a bill the hospital was in dispute with the insurance company from 2009.  Have been fighting the battle with the hospital because they confused her with another similar named patient until December 2010 when I was told it was straight but to keep the adminstrator's name and number should ANYONE contact me.  Called her this morning and she has spoken with them to call off the dogs and a formal letter to cease and desist has been sent.  If they get you to answer one time they will repeatedly call you about the same time every so many days to harass.  Different person each time and very ignorant.

Had several of these calls and I would never answer when I saw the area code.  Finally caught me off guard and I answered.  They wanted to speak to my deceased mother (2 yrs) or her spouse (deceased 11 yrs) and I told the man.  He then wanted to get an address to send some confidential papers regarding my mother.  I told him I handled her estate, there are no outstanding matters to address and refused to give him the information.  I never gave my name - just that I was her daughter.  He finally gave up when I refused to give any information.  Thus far I have not received another call.

I, too, am getting calls from this number, but when I answer sometimes, noone is even there. I have a reject feature on my phone, so now when that number calls, my phione automatically rejects it. :)

I don't owe anyone anything, so a debt collector shouldn't be calling me.

I get at least one call daily.....no one will say anything when call is answered.  Area Code is in South Carolina (Columbia, Rock Hill and part of Charlotte. I called the number and it is a Collection agency called AMCOL SYSTEMS.  I don't know why they keep calling me......don't have any delinquent bills.

I have had three phone calls from this number today.  The latest time was at 8:52 pm tonight.  How do I report these people?

did u know that if the some person or company calls u more the 3 times in a 24 hour time frame it is herassment that is by the FCC and a few other GOV. place and GOV people

Amcol Systems is a collection agency. They work exclusively for hospitals and health care providers.

Calls repeatedly (almost daily) to my cell phone.  Leaves a recorded message that sounds like it is a voice option page, "press 2 if....".  The message gets cut off in the middle and the call disconnects.  I have no idea who they are because I refuse to answer the phone.

I answered once. It is a recording saying something about a business proposition. I hung up without waiting for the recording to finish. This call comes at least 4 times a day. Usually  at 9 am EST (twice) then 2 or 3 hours later and again at 5 pm EST.

got a call from it today saying it was a collection call but didnt say from who just said to call a certain number.

Got another call from this number!!!  At least one call a day forever from this number!!! STOP IT!!!

Don't bother answering phone now. I have a voice caller ID that tells me the number calling. As soon as I hear ... 803 .. 21 ... I ignore it. My guess is it is a collection agency about medical bills or a telemarketer.
